Wow, well were to start? 1) Did you look in forums? 2) What device do you have? 3) Not to be a smartass but your emergency doesn't constitute an emergency on my part. But try #1 first.

brother if i were adb savvy i'd tell you exactly what to type to fix this. but i'm not. :/ it does, however, sound like you'll need to use adb to fix this. might be wrong tho. i'm sure someone will come along who knows for sure.
ok im like a uber noob what's adb
i think you have to use odin! in download mode!

In my experience, certain ROMS won't boot into recovery. Not sure why. You can always use ODIN and PIT to recover to stock, then re-root and install a custom ROM again. I was never able to boot into recovery on AOSPISH 1.1 Always had to ODIN and PIT. Good Luck, hope it works out for you.
I was reading the thread on how to install TNTLite 4.4.0 and it recommends NOT installing CWM. However, from what I read on other threads, it seems like people still do it anyways.
In addition to this, I'm using a Mac and so lsusb and nvflash are not easily available to me.
So, should I still install CWM as a backup just in case anything happens?
Speaking of this, if I go into a bootloop, can't I just install a stock rom on an external sdcard, and then boot up the gtablet in recovery mode to load the stock mod from there? Could this be an alternative to having CWM installed?

Oops, I clicked on submit too quickly before I was able to check the box to make this a question. Can a moderator please make this thread a question? thanks in advance!
Actually, TnTLite 4.3 and later come with CWM as part of the "Recovery Pack" which is a toolkit that allows you to toggle between stock and cwm easily. Check the first post in the TnTLite sticky thread.
UPDATE: I think I might have found the procedure I was looking for. Can any one confirm if this will work?

Greetings,
I beg tolerance and forgiveness of those much wiser and intelligent than I.
I need to restore my Fascinate back to the stock ROM that comes with the phone. it was running Froyo 2.2 when I got it.
I tried flashing Clockwork Recovery to my phone using Odin. I followed the instructions in several of the other threads (pretty simple).
Now, when my phone starts it defaults to recovery mode no matter what I do.
There are two options.
First the screen loads to...
"CwM Voodoo Lagfix Recovery v2.5.1.x" (I didn't realize I was putting this on my phone at the time).
If I go to apply sdcrard:update.zip --> Yes...--> "ClockworkMod Recovery v3.0.0.8"
At this point I am at a loss as to how to proceed.
The end state I am shooting for is to have a rooted phone with clockwork on it so I can make a backup of my phone before flashing a de-bloated touchwiz rom to my phone. Many thanks in advance!
follow the going back to stock section in this link. It will put you back to stock ed05 froyo.

Hi, i was on twitter and i seen this. Scepterr has made clockwork mod recovery for the HTC Amaze and says that it works on his phone. You can go to his google+ profile to check out the information he posted. He says that he is not providing any support but it should work with other Amaze's. I provided his twitter to if you wish to follow him.

Mods please delete this thread.
I'd like to start this thread in establishing that I am not familiar with how all this works, nor do I have any idea how to fix it, which is why I'm here. I only know the system info, such as version, firmware, etc.
In attempting to add cyanogen mod on my already previously rooted Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 gt-p3113, I watched a video that directed me to install clockwork recovery and root in a single bundle using Odin, (which I successfully did). I then proceeded to install cyanogen mod while in clockwork recovery, which it then told me to factory reset wipe all data before doing so. After going to the "main page" of CWM and resetting the device like it told me, I then went back to install cyanogen mod, only to have it tell me that CWM is out of date. I tried rebooting the device, but it would take me back to CWM, which im assuming means I deleted to OS on accident.
After all that, I finally concluded I'm stuck on an old version of Clockwork Recovery with no OS installed. I can access download mode, however when I'm not in download mode the device automatically boots up to the old version of clockwork mod, and I'm stuck there.
As I have no idea how all this stuff works and did pretty much everything from a YouTube video, I'm hoping a more experienced developer can help fix the problem and somehow help me regain use of my tablet. At this point I don't care whether I can get cyanogen mod installed or not, and I would appreciate all the help I can get.
Thanks

Well, I would say that may be a bigger problem ! Now what I think better for you would be trying to flash the stock ROM over to the device again I am sure you have your hands over the flashing. So head over to the sammobile/firmware section and try getting the stock ROM downloaded and flash it over your device.
