Ok I have both mybackup pro and titanium backup, I did 2 backups before I wiped and flashed a new ROM.
Mybackup pro isn't working for some reason, once I set it to restore app&data it does the process super quick and pops up a menu that says it finished and it must restart.
So titanium I can restore the apps but it asks me for permission to install every single app and there are over 200 (it apparently backed up system apps as well). Is there a way it can just automatically these apps back without asking for my permission to install on ever single one?

Yes. You must purchase the titanium pro license to get the functionality you are describing. If you purchase the license you won't need to accept each app.
ok, thanks.

So I backuped all my system data and apps with titanium backup and now installed different ROM, and when I try to restore missing apps and data it asks for approval for every single app I had installed. I need to press "install" and then "done" for each app, and not only that, if I don't want to install and press cancel it stops working and I need to go to task manager, kill titanium backup and do everything again..
Any ideas how to make that process automatic?
u can try another version of it.....since the data is in the sdcard .the versions wont mattr
Do you have free or full version installed ?

I have a free one.
What approval does it ask for?
I'd be wary of restoring all system appsndata coming from a different ROM.
Try restoring data for Titanium Backup by itself first to see if helps it remember.

hey guys i have a quick question about titanium backup, i did a couple of backups on titanium, is there a way i can restore only the latest backup because when i go to restore it shows me all my apps from my previes backups...
you can restore them 1 by 1, not sure if there is a option to restore only the latest as any backup you do will overwrite the one you did before (if it is them same app), whereas there is for instance an option to only restore apps with data changes if I remember well.

I think if we backup using the pro version, the backup file will be only 1 LATEST BACKUP per app
you can set titanium to keep as many backups as you want, if you only want to restore certain ones, then until the ones you don't want to r restore.....it's not exactly rocket science
I have a problem with restoring some apps' .TiKB files. I have them saved to my BOX account and when in try to import them, some eier work or some just shows operation canceled. Why is this happening?
I used to back up every week until i got a message about running out of space, you only actually need 1 backup in Titanium and maybe keep a spare backup in Dropbox or Box or on your laptop in case, i delete a backup every week after updating apps, restart the phone and then backup so it's a fresh backup.
thats not the hting though. my problem is that i made backups for apps/games for the easy import method(from BOX using the .TiBkp files) and so for some apps/games it lets me restore and some say operation canceled. why does it not let me restore. any idea why?
I searched and maybe I didn't use the right search terms. I did a full backup with Titanium and with Rom Toolkit before upgraded from Beans B6 to B9. In the past I've always download the app and then restored individual data from Titanium. I've read recently that many people just restore both with Titanium so I thought I would give it a try. When I restore with Titanium some apps like Alchemy and My Movies Pro give me licensing errors and will not even open. The only way to resolve the issue isI have to uninstall the app using the application manager then redownload the app and restore app data. Any thoughts on if I am doing something wrong?

Hey guys,
I'm trying to restore my previous Titanium Backup configuration on my Note 8, on which I just clean-installed the latest DevBase ROM. Normally, I just backup the following folder in order to save Titanium Backup's configuration for later restore, then after the ROM is installed, I restore the folder, install Titanium Backup and everything is restored:
sdcard\data\com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup\settings\
However, for some reason, the latest version doesn't seem to be restoring from the backup. Any suggestions on what to do to fix it? Really need this my configurations to quickly restore my Note 8 back to normal. Thanks in advance.
Haha can't believe I'm not the only one. Was already buzzing authors but for now no reply. Up until now that always worked. But now since yesterdays flash it doesn't any more. I've been trying to make it work since then without any success. Is your ROM PIE based?
What's even worse for me, i also tried cleaning everything and fresh install TiBu without any settings. I've made a new label, attached an app or two to that label. Then I selected in preferences I want to sync settings, TiBu created /sdcard/data/com.kermidas.TitaniumBackup with corresponding files. After I uninstall and reinstall TiBu first nice surprise is that it force closes. It will not work until I delete /data/data/com.kermidas.TitaniumBackup, after that program starts but it never restores it's settings from /sdcard/data/com.kermidas.TitaniumBackup
I've tried few PIE roms and never managed to find a working sollution. Thinking of going back to Oreo just to test this out then to scream at TiBu makers if it suddenly decided to crap on us. Oh I've also tried old tibu versions. even cracked ones, since I do posses original bought key for TiBu.

Yeah, experienced EXACTLY the same issues. I figured out a solution to the problem though; on first install of Titanium Backup, DO NOT OPEN IT YET, instead, MANUALLY grant it its app permissions via Settings > Apps > Titanium Backup, place your settings folder in the com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup folder like normal, then launch Titanium Backup. Here's a detailed step by step process:
1. Ensure you still have a proper backup of the Titanium Backup settings folder, then uninstall Titanium Backup AND Titanium Backup Pro Key (if you also purchased it)
2. Install a root file system app (like Total Commander) from the Play Store, launch it, and navigate to and delete the following folders:
/sdcard/data/com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup
+
/data/data/com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup
AND (if you also purchased it)
/data/data/com.keramidas.TitaniumBackupProThis will ensure you start off like it's your first time installing the app, and will avoid any crashes due to whatever conflicts.
3. Restore your backed-up Titanium Backup settings folder to the following directory:
/sdcard/data/com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup
4. Re-install Titanium Backup (and Titanium Backup Pro key, if you purchased it). DO NOT OPEN IT YET!! Otherwise, you'll have to repeat steps 1. to 3. above
5. Navigate to Settings > Apps > Titanium Backup and manually enable its app Permissions (at least Storage, but I'd recommend enabling ALL of them like I did)
6. Vuala, now you can launch Titanium Backup, grant it SU permission, and it'll recognize the backup like it should
Hope that helps

I have an LG G5 with LOS 14.1 and the Donate version of Titanium Backup. I'm trying to restore some apps from a recent TWRP backup.
I can select the apps I want to restore and TB goes though the process of restoring the apps.
At the end TB says the restores are complete, but there is no change and none of the missing apps are restored!
Can some please tell me how to fix this? Thanks!

TiBu is broken.
I've moved to Migrate in Google Play.
I've figured out how to restore an app from a TWRP nandroid backup.
1. Clear the app's cache
2. Put phone in airplane mode (to prevent app communication between steps 3 & 4)
3. Use the Nandroid Manager 2.4.2 app to restore the app only from the TWRP backup.
4. Immediately afterwards use Titanium to restore the data only from the TWRP backup.
5. Disable airplane mode
6. Start the app
This works perfectly, because Nandroid Manager chokes on restoring data, and Titanium chokes on restoring apps. It takes extra time, but so what - restoring an app is an essential operation.
