I did a battery calibration on my atrix after I fully charged it, and it shows 99%. I'm running the cm7 rom. Which battery mods or fixes I can use for this rom?

I have the same problem sometimes it charges to 100 sometimes not quite.
Try waiting till its charged then while still plugged in take out the battery until it reboots into a missing battery symbol
Put your battery back in and let it charge for a few more hours.

Did that really work?

Has anyone else had battery problems with MIUI? My battery is going from 100% down to 60% in about 3 hours with moderate use. And since flashing to 1.5.27 and Platypus my battery wont charge above 93%.

Well .. Miui battery life isnt good. It'll not last as long as normal 2.3.4 or 2.2roms.

The other day my battery said it was charged but when I unpluged it, it said 98%. Today it did the same thing bit it said 96%. What can I do? Just clear the battery states or what?

needs calibrating with an app, through recovery or root explorer
plug and unplug till it stays at 100 then calibrate then need to go through a few full cycles, from 100 to completely dead
should sort out then
From my experience the battery will calibrate itself over time. It'll just take a bit longer.

What Rom are you using because if it's ported Rom for instance this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1131782
then once your battery is fully charged...it will stop charging (prevent you from over-charging your battery)

it shouldn't do that...do battery collaboration
1) charge 100% go to recovery --advanced--wipe battery stats
2) drain that sucker all the way
3) charge 100%
if that dont work just reflash that rom...
I use 3 batteries with an external charger and I do not use calibrate nor do I wipe stats........it will correct itself no big deal,it happens to me every now and then

Hey guys just did the ota update. Now on trip in car and when plugging into car charger, the battery does not show as charging (lightning bolt through battery symbol), but the% in my battery app is going up,.so it is charging.
Anyone else seeing this issue also?

Actually the battery is not even charging. it is not the charger either, as the other two androidphones are charging. Only the atrix doesn't charge. Any ideas anyone?

Offtopic but can you comment if you have battery jumping issues with OTA. And also if you have high "phone idle" usage issue in battery like the rest of us in leaked version?
When I restart phone it goes up 10%..

Let me get that straight? You installed offical OTA update from Motorolla and you have battery jumping issue, right? How on earth they do not know about this bug?

LOL.....they know, they just don't care enough. Besides, who ever restarts their phones on a regular basis? (besides us)
there is no difference between the leaked OTA and the Offical OTA, so yes there is a chacne the battery issue is still there. dont let your phone die complete has you may not be able to flash a different sbf. AND WHAT EVER YOU DO, DO NOT FLASH ANY OFFICAL 1.83 OR YOU WILL HARDBRICK
Does anyone have a "fix" or idea why car charger won't charge atrix, but will charge an sgs2 and arc?
Also the battery is discharging at an alarming rate. Is there a method to fixing it or am I at the mercy of the customer friendly and over productive people at Moto (sarcasm)...

Wipe battery stats, fully charge your phone, then calibrate using battery calibration app from market, use it till fully discharged, then fully charge again.

Get a new battery.

Do you mean a new new battery cuz I have four fully charge

And that didn't work
Sent from my ADR6400L using xda app-developers app
It's not totally impossible that they all could have an issue. Are you charging them using a charger and leaving them on it for extended periods of time? That's a killer for lithium ion batteries.
Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk 2
Also, what kind of charger are you using to charge them?

That could be part of your problem too. It's best to use an HTC charger for an HTC phone because they circuitry is designed to charge HTC batteries. It's best not to mix an match them. The amperage could be different.
Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk 2
Well I thought by leaving it on the charger till it turn green I unplugged it but the most it goes to is 70%,can't even calibrate it
Sent from my ADR6400L using xda app-developers app
It's been proven calibration doesn't help. I can even attest to that. Try letting the battery drain completely. Then charge it full while it is off. Then disconnect the battery cable and reconnect it and let it charge to green. Let it sit for 20 more minutes. Or charge fully and reboot your phone.

You need an HTC charger my friend. Charger voltage matters.

I've tried that and will try again but while charging it while its off, a hr goes by and the orange light still on never gets to green, thanks for the feed back appreciate it

I've got the same problem. I bought the wife a tbolt off craigslist cuz she liked mine. It won't charge past 3900 mv. I can take my fully charged battery from mine and put it in hers. It'll show like 30 percent charge and 3900 mv on battery widget. Even tried a power mat in case it was a USB port problem to no evail. Different roms, differnet batteries, differnt chargers
If I knew what was malfunctioning I could change it out with a parts phone I have but don't know where to start
Extended batteries typically don't show the correct percentage. The thunderbolt wasn't designed for them so they don't always show correctly. Once it shows full reboot. After you reboot and charge to full do it again. Do it until you reboot AMD it stays the same. If it doesn't the battery is probably bad. You can check the battery condition in your settings about phone.
