Anyone Help me solve this problem please.... My dell streak (froyo) always show error notification like this every minutes "the application Accuweather.com (process com.accuweather.android.simpleweatherlite.dellportrait) has stop unexpectedly."
this problem does not occur before, is there another way to fix this problem without rooting my phone ??
Thanks

if you don't wanna root so you can troubleshoot it little by little, then you don't have much choice but to do a factory reset
Hey Kiki...... I had the same problem awhile back. I finally figured out it was caused by the Accuweather program trying to sync itself when I didn't have a network connection (wifi or cellular..... sometimes I would go out of cellular range). I decreased the sync frequency

I was getting the same error with my Atrix and my work Droid1. Easy fix. Uninstall it. Seems like everyone is having issues. Google weather seems to work just as well.

That's one of the first things I got rid of on my Streak 7 because it never would locate my Streak for weather anyway, so I trashed it.

I uninstalled launcher pro for a moded launcher pro plus. I unistalled it using Titanium.. now I can't replace it for some reason. I actually notice I was dealing with system files and its a bit different. Any ideas how to force to install it manually?
I read some where that winamp app causes auto mount.

Yeah it's definitely winamp. I had it installed and had the same issue. Instantly disappeared as soon as I uninstalled it.
It is a feature of Winamp. The automount may be toggled on/off from inside Winamp's settings.

Check in your About Phone and make sure you did get the JI6 update. That was supposed to fix the "known Issue" when i was talking with the tech support at TMO. Of course, i was running a third party rom and couldn't get the update so i flashed Bionix 1.9.1 which had the update built in and have been good since. If that doesn't work or if you DO have the update and still having the issue have them send a replacement as it is a defect and they will send a new one.
I had to exchange my phone, tmobile explained to me that its an issue with some phones and cannot be fixed so they sent me a replacement phone. I would one click unroot and exchange your phone. That is what I had to do.
Hi.. Thank you all for your response.. Is it possible to fix it if I flash it with a new ROM? Or is it becuse of hardware issue? I am waiting for a Froyo ROM to flash it. Would it fix the problem?
Thanks
B
Wow I wish my battery was that good...
Try repartitioning with stock ROM in ODIN. It seems to solve a lot of issues, but it will wipe your internal SD.
I have this same problem and I have had no luck fixing it with ANYTHING! I tried ODIN so many times and its always the same issue...
Moved to Q&A.

thats bad to hear. i was hoping that we would be able to use the skype app, since they decided to be cretins and required nimbuzz to remove their skype support =(
Same prob here, force closes almost everywhere.
Obviously this is not ready for X10, hence it won't show at the market.

Delete the icon from the home screen and re-add it via the app draw or Widget locker if its a widget - Should resolve that issue.:good:
Hi everyone!
Im using Galaxy S3.
From time to time, after unlocking the screen, i see installation page of app named "iClock"
it does not come up every time, but about once every 2 days.
it really annoy me because i don't know what app is that. It keep pushing me to install, this behavior is like a malware.

what was the application that you installed some days back? also, when the download starts, click and hold on the process in the notification bar, open app info, force stop.

Will the force stop work to disable it forever?? i dont remember what was the app...
and is there any way to completely remove that process?? so it will not download any app automatically forever?
Try following the instructions you've been given.

that is not permanent. you need to force stop it every time you reboot the phone. try uninstalling the apps one by one and reboot phone after every un-installation. possibly cheap rated apps with ad support may cause this.
:good:
Alright. Thanks all for helping me.... im glad that this community is very helpful for all the android users....
