am i just missing something?
thanks

It's in the clock app. Not sure if you've set another one as default or even if you can, but the regular clock app is where mine are stored.

K, i found the alarms in the clock but not the countdown timers... after i leave Svoice after setting an countdown.. how to i cancel it?
it no longer shows up in the Svoice screen if you have exited it..
In apps, do you go into the app just called 'clock' with an analogue clock face image? That's the one on my phone. At the top of the screen then there will be some tabs for selecting Alarm Clock, World Clock, Stopwatch, Timer and Desk Clock. That's where the svoice set alarms/timers are set.
I have been able to set an alarm, then later edit it, both via svoice.
My clock shows no alarms, but it will go off every day at 8:30 am. Driving me nuts. I have Alarm Clock + as well, but it's not there either. I seem to have turned it on with S-Voice, but S-voice can't find it to turn it off, either.
I have noticed my clock app has somehow decided that its week starts on sunday. Is there some way to change that into it starting on monday instead, and how?. Ie I see it clearly when I try to set an alarm etc.
Hello,
I set up alarm clock. It wake up correctly. But when I snooze it, sometimes it does not wake up after 5 minutes. In the notification bar I see that the alarm clock is snoozed, but simply it does not wake me up. Do you know what could be the reason?
I'm using standard KK 4.4.2 Android.
Kind regards,
Radim

My wife had a similar problem: It appeared in her case that she was using clean master app, which was clearing the alarm clock app off memory. It might be such an app or it could be something like greenify, which hibernates apps if misused.

Thanks for advise, but I did not install such hibernating applications. Do you any other idea?
This morning it happen again
I just picked up my new G5 a few days ago and absolutely love this phone. I'm coming out of a G2 which I also loved, so this phone is exactly what I wanted...a bigger, better, badder, faster G2 with a much faster camera. Mission accomplished! There is one thing though which is annoying the crap out of me. I'm guessing it's part of marshmallow since my G2 didn't do this. I use the stock clock widget which gives me quick access to alarms, world clock, stopwatch and countdown timer, all things which I actually use regularly. However, it now pops up a notification in the tray TWO HOURS BEFORE the set alarm time, informing you that you have an upcoming alarm, and asking if you want to dismiss it now! [/run on sentence] Really? If I wanted to be notified two hours earlier, I'd have set the alarm two hours earlier! You can swipe it away, but it comes back. I can't find a way to turn off this function and neither could the LG tech support guy. No I do not wish to root the phone. I like the stock widget except for this one feature which is new apparently. Anyone know a way to disable just this function?
Try disabling notifications for the app while long presing it on the notification bar

Nope. All notification settings in the app are already turned off. Still does it.
Try to long press the notification and disable it

Is there an echo in here?
Sorry in the app it did not show my reply and i went into the browser and now i se thaf both of them came through well if thaf didn't work then idk what else to suggest
No prob bro. Thanks for trying. Stupid smartphones. ?
I installed the Google Clock app because it has the next alarm notification, so I can easily disable it in case I want to, contrary to the stock clock app.
The problem is that on some days none of the several alarms I have ring. Then, sometime later in the day, a bunch of notifications show up listing them as "missing alarms". This doesn't happen with stock app. I think Emui kills the Google Clock's service.
Anyone know a fix for this?
First thing to try is to manage the Clock app separately in battery settings. Ie.
Settings, Battery, App Launch, Clock, then select all the options (run in background etc)
If its already managed manually, then uninstall and reinstall Clock app from play store (this is what I had to do as it was happening to me, and its been working fine since)
