The notification sound when you connect the USB is bothersome, I don't need to be alerted when it's plugged in. is there any way to disable it?

Yesterday my hero had again the problem, that it shows the headphone icon on the statusbar and also acts like a headphone is plugged in ... i installed Headset toggle for workaround via sync. Today I searched for a real solution because random plugging in und plugging out of the headset didnt work out like the times before. I wanted to try an other rom. I plugged in the mini usb and the headset icon removed ^^.... BUT my usb connection is only loading the battery neither at the pc nor in the hero statusbar is the notification for syncing oder SD-Card shown . The LEDs are all working ....
Any solution for my USB problem ... i repeat: USB connection is only loading the battery, Hero doesnt show the sync oder sd icon in the statusbar... yesterday sync did work

When connecting my S2 to a USB port while Bluetooth is on, it shows a message asking to confirm deactivating Bluetooth.
Is there a way to avoid displaying this message and automatically having the Bluetooth deactivated when connecting to a USB port and automatically activated when disconnecting from a USB port?

I woudl like to find a way to either have usb tether automatically enabled whenever a usb cord is plugged into my device or once i activate it manually for it to stay enabled regardless of whether i unplug and replug the cord or during a computer reboot for instance. any help?
Ok, so has anyone else had problems with this..
when you plug in an OTG connected usb device (i have the same problem with usb drives and midi controllers so far) and in the notification bar pull down it will say charging usb device, and when you choose to switch it to something else, like transfer files or connect a midi device, it just goes right back to charging the device after changing it for a few seconds or until you tap the screen or check it again.
This has completely stopped me from being able to connect a midi device, and causes the usb drives to get hot, although I can still transfer files in an 3rd party file manager, but the notification bar will never stay in tranfer mode, and it has never gone into midi mode at all.
This is not an issue with my OTG adapter, as I also have the same problems with borrowed adapters, as well as using DEX. In fact in dex, if I plug in a usb drive and switch to transfer files mode it will crash. Has anyone else experienced these problems? Are any of these apps for OTG management in the play store useful for this? They seem to be useless based on the reviews except for testing a UTG adapter. Thanks!
btw I don't have root, my note 8 is fully updated to BQLA version.
Hi, check the battery! If internal resistance goes up so does noise.
Check the cable and connector on the phone as well.
I just bought a V521. I primarily want to use it in my car as a navigation unit.
1. To conserve battery, I plan to set it to turn off if it detects the cable is unplugged/no power (perhaps after a delay). Is there a way to have it turn on if it detects the cable is plugged in/power to cable?
2. Any tips on how to get it to startup faster? I'd prefer not to have a long wait everytime I start my car. Perhaps I remove or disable something
I'd appreciate any general tips as well
