Heeey this is a question to all the theme creators and dev's
Is it possible to create a Settings app with a transparent background?
I saw this on a thread for the Galaxy tab http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1051807 and I'd like to know if its possible to create a modded settings app for our galaxy 3
(I know they explain it on that thread but I was searching in the settings.apk but couldn't find the specific XML )
common +80 vieuws but no reply!?
Its just a question if there is someone that can mod the settings apk
or just tell me if it's even possible is it to hard to say Yes or Now
Yes it is possible but I have totally no knowledge about this so it can't be done by me...

it would've been better if u answered in a good and informative way , look at Godra how his replies look like (thanks) , our community is big and we help and respect each other so please if u r mad from someone dont comment , that way u will be ok and the OP wont be hesitated or think more than once before he post something requesting for some kind of help because people like u will think he's stupid .
@brendow96 : try googling before making a topic to make sure if someone asked this before , u know if u just looked in our theme section u would've found sidewalk_'s topic about how to make hdpi themes work properly , also feel free asking anytime and we'll be here to help :beer:

I think you should ask Achep about that. He was the creator of that.
hmmmmmm i think it should be merged in the rom (its not an apk that can be easily be installed) but....... Rohin already stopped development for the rom therefore i dont think it will happen

Y not, u can its just that gzr is odexed so no one is doing it, I think so, if you can provide deodexed systemui.apk and framework-res.apk, someone will suerly do it..

I think it's possible, trying to get that for me to... But I'm stuck at changing the icons after decompiling the systemui.apk...
I'm not sure which icons i have to replace to make it work...
hope you can compile succesfully the systemui.apk. would be a relief for me ... btw, would be useful if I attach my systemui or sth to help you?

I've done countless searches and I've found those, but most of them aren't compatible with our phone, hence I'm requesting that someone mod our stock contacts.apk
Most of those contacts.apk don't have a dual sim save feature so yeah, pretty much useless in our phone.

What's your damn problem man? I wanna learn how to port note 4 apps, not s5 apps, to s4 mini!

And how to do that?
Just simple decompile and mod each xml that has dpi values and resize the textures !! Man you dont know how to use apktool to change a thing always asking forgive me but simply you cant do it neither am i !! I can partially fix a wrong graphics but porting needs java knowlidge that if you had you wouldnt be asking for lots of mods to collect from @ploiki and he is true thats a funny topic :wiered:
