Your carrier ordered them removed as part of their "enhancements."
Yes "enhancements" as att would say

So if you flash/root (not sure what it's called) can you gain this functionality back??
I'm glad some of those hubs are not included, all they do it's slow your phone and waste battery. I removed most of those touchwiz widgets and hubs and my phone it's running super smooth now.

No, unless you flash a custom ROM that has the apks from international version.

...always a better idea to freeze stock apps with TiBu for a week or so before uninstalling.

I want to give my vibrant to my kid as a mp3 player. I got the g2x now.
Will this cause any known problems?
Can i just remove it with titanium?
Any help would be appreciated.

I'd just freeze phone.apk and dialer tab activity. Shouldn't cause any problems.
If you take your sim card out, he won't be able to make calls right?

umm yea, that was my point.
but since you brought it up it can be done with any file explorer that can mount /system. as well as adb.
You can actually uninstal Sprint wallet, radio, NASCAR, and blockbuster without temp root.

Dude, I know that. But all the ones I've seen like(root explorer) cost money, and I was lookin for apps that r free that work with the temp root.. I also was trying to help other ppl out too. Everyone knows that if u have the temp root and do something to ur phone and then restart, it will go away and u have to do it again. That's why its a temp root. Don't try to be a smart ass, if u don't have anything useful to say to help others, don't reply

Correct.
So they are just frozen.
They still take up exactly the same amount of space on your emmc.
Unless they are system hogs, and run in the background, DAE know what the point of 'uninstalling' these might be?
Unless you just don't like to see the icons, I just don't see the point..

If you are running an ICS ROM (for some apk's preferably odexed) on your Note...these are just some thread links that I've found...S-voice is pretty cool. Have fun!

I believe you might have to move the app to system apps folder
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda premium
I had to make a backup of the original voice talk app and then delete/freeze it in TB...then drop S-voice into sys/app as suggested, then reboot.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I777 using xda premium
I'm reading this am that Samsung has blocked the SVoice from working on non SGSIII phones and that a build prop change is in order to spoof it. Maybe some topic searches are in order.

Although not perfect...it works right out of the gate on mine (and others) SII.

For those having a problem getting S-voice to work try this modded apk I've found...it works.

I got it to work on the newest leak. Then had to change my build prop when they restricted it. Working again, but not perfectly. When I say to save an alarm or do a web search, it freezes. Oh well, still fun to mess with, and I'm sure it will only get better

Network error went away and now it just crashes.
Nvmd, got a different kind of network error (smaller bubble) then black screen to crash.
The signed version just gives me a "Application not installed" when I try to install it.
I rebooted again and for some odd reason its working, but if I turn on voice prompts it crashes when I try to check something.
As I sell ALOT of eBay stuff I tend to have to use my phone to check PayPal addresses. But trying to load more emails takes ages is there a way to have more available on phone? Cheers guys

I don't think you can with stock. I'd use a decent third party like maildroid. Then you can have your entire account showing.

Hmm ok thanks for that. I must admit I'm 1 of those people who likes using stock apps because I don't like most ui's of 3rd party apps. But I have had to change the music app I am using recently and playerpro is very good so far so I'll check it out. Thanks

There are a few good ones worth checking:
Touchdown
Enhanced email
Maildroid
K-9
... To name a few. Most have free trials. They're way better than stock!
