When I press home button there is like 1 second timeout before homescreen is opened. I never noticed the same timeouts on any other android handsets. Is it done for purpose? And could it be disabled, so that home button work imidiatly?
I believe this is caused by S Voice. The home button launch can be disabled in the app itself.

Doesn't really help, I've disabled mine and noticed no difference.

So, looks like I'am not the only one confused by this behaviour...
No its known and happened on s2 also, disabling s voice helps a lot but if you flash cm9 you will see it reacts instantly

Disabling s-voice really helped. Thanks!
Am I the only person that has this issue? I when I receive call the volume starts really low then shoots up to max volume. This is annoying. I have looked thru the options to see if I clicked something by accident but can't find anything.
Any help guys?

Hey bro, Go to the phone app of your phone (dialer or contacts) press the menu button and press the "call settings" button. Option should say "Increase volume in pocket" or something around those lines depending on the rom. Just un-check that and done!
thanks elracing

Dropped my phone and the bottom right of the screen cracked rendering the menu button useless. Is there any other way I can get the function of the menu button via on screen app or some sort, is there any way to enable the overflow menu button?
You may be able to find the functionality your looking for using LMT. You can find it somewhere on xda..in the general apps section I think.

LMT is awesome. Link to a page toward the end of the thread cause that's where I was.

For some reason I cannot get the ISAS to work in LMT. Anybody who has it working, what's your setup in the settings?

I'd never tried them before...mussed with them for a couple minutes but was unable to get them to work. I only use the pie function.

One feature I used all the time on the S4 and S3 was the voice control to say "cheese" or "shoot" to take a picture. I can't seem to find that setting anywhere on the S5. Is it gone?
It is there, click the cog in the corner of the camera screen and scroll down, should say voice commands or the like.
EDIT: Specifically open the camera app, click the cog in the corner, far bottom left tile which says "Voice Control"
