I set up my email yahoo account on my LG One 2.2 phone. I accidentally deleted an important email and now it is sitting in the Trash folder on my phone. It does not sync with my yahoo account online so it is not recoverable there.
My problem now is getting this email out of the Trash folder on my phone to somewhere I can reply or forward it.
Unfortunately the only options I have on the phone are 'mark as unread' and 'delete'. The reply and forward are greyed out. Since I need to show proof of this email to someone far away i can't really show them my phone.
Since it is there on the phone there must be a place android stores these trashed emails, I have file expert however it is of little help.
Can anyone please advise on how I can get this email back to where I can do something with it?

I am going to swap phones very soon so if this email is located somewhere on the actual phone it may get wiped out and I will not be able to retrieve it...

Im having trouble with these dang mail apps.
First: the mail app that comes with the thunderbolt, I cant forward a 7 mb attached file. Says file too large to attach. Ive gone thru all the settings I can find and nowhere can I find the setting I need to allow as big a friggin attachment as I want to attach. Anyone out there that can point me in right direction?
So Ive been playing with mail apps to find an app that doesnt restrict me. So the last month Ive been playing with K-9. The app is ok i guess, but when I try to forward an email, I dont get an option to scroll thru all my contacts and pick one! You have to have all your contacts email memorized or something cause it doesnt allow picking from conacts via People app.
Anyone know of a perfect email app? Or if im doing something wrong, can help a brother out. Thanks.

I v been having a problem in setting up email accounts though.
Whenever i try to add an account(yahoo account for example)i get wrong username or password message all the time.if i try manually i get the messag:cannot execute sensitive command.....
I have setup my email accounts on my Ssamsung galaxy S II without any problem

Hi like you pretty frustrated so went back to basics and onto Hotmail Q&A only to find out I needed to use a different email set up from that I use on a computer as this is a mobile device. Guess that makes me daft for not thinking of that but hey we all got to learn. Anyway set up now using the windows live mail help under setting up email on a mobile device and it appears to be working. Hope that helps.:

Don't know about yahoo but I see there is an android downloadable app for yahoo? Also there is an interesting trail on android forum regarding yahoo email setup which might help. Hope you get it working.
I had a bit of a prob when seeting up the stock email and turned out it was because of user name, You must set up your user name just as it says.
If i remember right (dont have my tab with me now) it ask for your user name and must be
your domain/username

Over the past two weeks my gmail app 4.5.2 would stop loading new msgs and showing no connection.
After a bit of trial and error i found out that is not gmail app since new release didnt fix it.
Instead if i delete my google account from my sgs2 then add it back it works. Though it seems to work for say 4 days or so the it will get stuck again.. i already did it 3 times.
So my question is.. is it the phone database? How do i fix it? From my google account it shows 'full access' so is ok in fact i thought permissions might be off?
When i add it back onto the phone it says i need to login from the web first. I do it, works then after approx 4 days its broken again...
Any help appreciated is driving me crazy..

She is using Red Pocket on ATT network
Laptop is Window and she is using Firefox.
This is her Time Warner acct connected to Gmail POP
Gmail is of no help. They have no clue. I've tried asking this anyplace I can find hoping someone knows what the deal is.
All of a sudden all my call logs and SMS text messages are loading onto Gmail and are in the SENT folder. There are over 18,000. I want to stop them from coming in and flooding my SENT folder. How do I stop them?
I tried looking for stop sync SMS on the phone, but is is not anywhere on the phone.
This is my sister's acct that is doing this. She has the S4. Why is her Gmail acct doing this and my Gmail acct isn't?
Would you go to BACK UP and RESET on the phone and then go to BACK UP DATA and uncheck that? Would that also stop her contacts from updating?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. This has been a bit frustrating because I'm unable to get an answer from anyone. lol So I cam to the smart people's website.
