Hi guys, I have a questions for everyone on sku's .16 MIUI rom .. I never get connected to wi fi automatically, Now I tried out cyanogenmod for like 4 days and it kept on auto connecting. Now I don't like the customization of Cyanogenmod and the icons aren't really big like MIUI so I went back... I still have the problem with auto connecting... Anyone have a fix ?
I read some where, Wolf rom and erics ROM doesn't have problem with wifi. Please try those!
use wolfbreak n ewjet rom
wolfbreak n ewjet rom based on the stock rom, and thats mean evrerything will work on their custom rom... miui not based on stock rom...

Yeah, I want MIUI , not stock nor CM, so I need help, is their not a possible way of getting my wi fi to automatically connect? Will I always have to go into settings and connect it maunually?
ALSO, When I'm on my school network, It keeps saying connecting... Disconnected.
The only way to get connected is if I make the phone forget the password and username, RE-ENTER username and password, And connect manually ... Quite annoying

ive got a Droid Eris (rooted) currently using stock rom after having issues with connection on some other roms, with the other roms when i tethered i could use skype, ventrilo, ect on my pc without any issues, all of which were used while playing WoW. when i use them on the stock rom, i get disconnected frequently and dont know why??? is it the stock rom that cant handle them? or do i need to change something on my phone... i really dont want to go back to my other roms because my connection is so bad please help.

indeed it works about in Resurrection Remix v2.5.3 even more Ive try every kernels and Roms such ::
all versions of Siyah kernel and Shun-Droidmax-Dream kernel ---and PFittech_ROM_v1.0.2_Sammy_ICS + VK--ICS-XWLPO-V5.2-Multi-Language_2 + cm-10-20120729-EXPERIMENTAL-i9100-CODEWORKX + 4.0.4 nordic country (LPX - LPO) + 4.0.4 LQ5
But the result is the same { turning on...} and not getting work
please help my phone.

Hope your WIFI is working fine, please check with some other device to confirm the same. Also check if any of your friends mobile/SGS2 is working in your WIFI region. Also suggested to try Resurrection Remix V.2.7 ICS ROM with Dorimanx Kernal V.5.85 which is the good Combo as per user in that thread. You need to use latest ROM as they have better WIFI drivers.
You are saying 'turning on' that means your router is working and your internet connection may not be good. Do check your internet connection at your location or try your device at other location where they have working internet WIFI.

my internernet connection worked because i test it with another devises
and my wifi working in some official roms it means that my network connection did work well.
Do you revise your wireless security? If it's WPA, WEP or those things, cause some of them don't able your phone to connect, in my case

today a friend of mine flashed the Omega Rom 33.3 and got a wifi issue. The wifi never connects and says "Authentication failed", "wrong password" or it just says connecting and after a while it switches back, but on the MIUI the wifi works great. Also the wifi didn´t work on the stock 4.1.1.
I hope somebody can help us. Thanks in advance

EDIT: He tried a new kernel (SiyahKernel S3 v1.8) , also a new modem and it isn´t working at all. The weird thing is, that he got a full nandroid backup of my phone (Omega Rom 33.3), where everything is working fine, but on his phone the wifi doen´t want to work. The wifi worked at 4.0.4, before official 4.1.1 Kies update, and on the MIUI rom.
Hi Guys.
I have installed a new ROM on my phone (Asced G300), the PAC ROM....sometimes it disconnectfrom the network and the no service message appaear and i can not establish a connection with the network until i reboot the phone.
Is this a bug of this ROM or i am missing some setting? This is the 5th time that i am installing a ROM and i`m very tired of this game...
Could be a bug of the rom. I know it's probably difficult to get stable non stock based roms for your phone. You might want to check with the developers of the rom to see if there's preferred settings or another modem to use that might work better with it.
so im installing new custom ROM and the WiFi dosent work and im typing the correct password in. but the wifi will work on stock? ... thanks
You need to read the thread of whichever custom rom you installed and then ask there.
Personally I've tried most of them and never had any wifi issues.
