I found out that Mobistar is selling this phone for 199€ (unlocked and w/out subscription as always in Belgium)... plus there's 30€ cashback from october 1 till december 31... I'll try to get my grubby hands on one now...
Are you sure it's the Xperia Mini Pro (SK17i) and not the X10 Mini Pro?
I've seen the X10 at the same price here in italy

Yes!
quite sure. 199€, 30€ cashback for SK17i. I've had it in my hands but I'm not hurried, I'm waiting until there's more news about the Cicada Syndrom (will get one before end of december though, 30€ rebate is nothing to sneeze at)
EDIT: by the way, it's an azerty phone so only the french and us will find it any good

Depends on where is your xperia x10 mini pro from. If it is from Spanish Vodafone there is a website that charges only 22€ for the unlock (but needs to be Spanish Vodafone locked phone).
Let me know if that is the one you need.

In that case you can try maybe ebay, and see the best price you can get.
I would still contact liberarporimei.eu and see if they can do it for Vodafone Portugal (as we are neighbours).
Good luck / Boa sorte.

Wow. Just did a search for Germany (o2 Service Provider) and they charge $ 76.45 US Dollars. That's pretty hefty, i think... well, i guess, i have to wait one more year to automatically get the unlock.

Hi everyone!
I am interested to buy a 32gb Xperia Tablet and would prefer Wi-Fi/3G and was wondering where to buy in the UK. I have looked at the Sony site and can't see the click now to buy button!
I was also wondering if the only 3G version is the 16gb version and if 32gb 3G versions are due for release.
I read that the 64gb is only available in the US.
Please can you tell me where you bought your Xperia Tablet?
Thanks!

The 3g version is only 16gb by the way, but with a full size SD card, this is no problem. You can pick from a sony centre although there are low stocks as most shops have sold out, seems Sony were caught out by how many will sell.
Correct, the 64gb is not available in the UK, only the US for some strange reason.
I bought my Sony Xperia Tablet the second it was released in UK stores. Picked it up at my local Sony Center.
Thanks to you both!
I think my nearest centres are York and Sheffield! Off to search!

Hi Guys, I am from Ontario Canada, and I am looking to buy a Sony Xperia Z Ultra C6833 from the U.S via eBay.ca
The eBay seller says it comes with a 1 year warranty, will this warranty work in Canada?
Please let me know, thanks.
I am planning to purchase Z4 tablet (WiFi version), however, I want to make sure that I get a version that has an unlockable bootloader. Since there is no official distribution in North America, it seems that my best bet is to purchase from eBay from Taiwanese seller for $535.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Sony-Xp...260082?hash=item4aee84cb32:g:1gAAAOSw8-tWZPJs
I was visiting Taiwan in August 2015, however, the price regular retailers were asking at that time was over $700 and I did not purchase it.
The issue with this eBay reseller is that they don't know if Z4 tablets they sell come with unlockable bootloader or not and tell my to assume that it's not unlockable which is a deal breaker for me.
Does anyone know reliable on line reseller that offers Z4 tablets with unlockable bootloader at a reasonable price?

Amazon.com in US sells Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet 10.1" 32 GB - Wifi Only - Black (U.S. Warranty) with Bluetooth Keyboard for $679.99.
The service menu of the SGP712 tablet I bought says YES, the bootloader is unlockable.

Yes, thanks, I saw it on Amazon but it's also quite a bit more expensive there... On top of it, the Canadian customs will slap me with duties and taxes for purchases from USA. With our "smart" government artificially devaluing CAD$ against US$ in order to improve export revenue this tablet would cost me CAD$ 1200 which is a lot more I am willing to pay. I'can get over the fact that between 2007-2014 CAD$/US$ were essentially 1:1.
There is a good chance that I will visit Asia in 2016 as well and perhaps then there will be Z5 model available.
The 10 inch tablets have tended to go every other update, so Z, Z2 and Z4, which the Z3 only being the Compact tablet. Following this in future it seems a Z5 Compact Tablet would likely be coming?

The Sony Tablet S and Xperia Tablet S have a 9.4 inch screen. The Xperia Tablet Z, Xperia Z2 Tablet, and Xperia Z4 Tablet have a 10.1 screen. The Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact has a 8.0 screen, which to me, makes it Sony's only "compact" tablet so far. I suspect the rumored Xperia Z5 Premium Tablet (perhaps revealed during CES Las Vegas 2016) will have a 10+ inch 4k screen.
