HI,
is there any chance that X10 mini pro will get ICS (android 4.0 ) Custom ROM after its release....... will devs make 4.0 custom ROMS ???
Official ICS developers said that the ICS version of Android will be compatible for every size of phone and every config even the smallest. That's all i know about ICS on x10 Mini Pro. I don't think we we all an official one but probably cutom ones
OP,
dont get whacked by the devs here. There is already lots of rom up to gingerbread.
and you ask something that will put extra pressure on the devs.
at least gingerbread is struggling to run smoothly on this x10 mini/pro series. and how will the hardware work for Android 4.0?
Some time ago Gingerbread was also a dream of many mini owners. But today the great devs has made a very efficient and stable ginger bread roms.
Even honey comb is also ported to our mini (which is only for tablet ) though it is in early alpha stage .
TODAY ICS seems to be a dream but developers are GREAT .( Not putting any type of pressure on devs . I am just telling their virtues) It only requires Time.
Sent from my X10M
So both Ice Cream S and Windows 8 will have lower requirements than than Gingerbread and Windows 7? Nice......
next cyanogenMod9 release will be android 4 or 2.4 Ice Cream Sandwich so lets hope that cyanogenmod will support our phone again!

Hi guys m new hea!! So I need ur advice.. Whic according to u guys is the best gaming rom for x10 mini??
In my opinion no one can tell you that, because for some ppl, some roms work very well, while for others they dont work at all. You should try each rom and see the one that works better for you. Anyway I m using the latest from paul wich works great for me on the ocasional gaming that I do
but isn't paul's rom for x10 mini pro?? I was asking about a rom for x10 mini
pauls rom minicm7 was ported from mini's rom. minicm7 made by naa. try it. its stable.
I tested all the roms for the mini and I must say i'm very impressed by minicm7 2.1.4.. it's the most stable and fastest rom available so i'm sticking with it now B-)
I've tried several ROMs and so far the best one is Ice Cream Gingerbread by Plancton.fr.
Before that one I tried MiniCM7 v15 by slade, and few others and all were pretty buggy for me. Reboots, bugs etc. Even after several tries.
Ice Cream ROM worked flawlessly after first flash. No bugs whatsoever.
icecream gingerbread by plancton has some bugs. i tested. u tried minicm7 v15?? its pretty old. nd development has stopped long ago. gintonic v2.5.1 is the latest one by slade. nd its stable as rock!
thnx in advance!!!
No, Honeycomb is only for tablet. Move it to Q&A selection.
no, but there will be an 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwitch Rom.
there is an honeycomb rom for mini pro started by owain. but it was stopped as the source code was not available. it was a port from some tablet. nd its not even at alpha stage. theres no development on it! hit thanks if i was helpful

Hello everybody, but I have this little doubt. I have an Xperia Mini ST15 am currently on Gingerbread, but many should know the new Jelly Bean advantages such as: Project Butter, notifications bar with notifications preview, improved system performance and gaming performance, Google Now , the Lock Screen and user interface. Currently I learned that you can put Google Now on devices with Ice Cream Sandwich. But my question is if I can have the advantages mentioned above. Please respond. I am a Noob. You can try installing ICS-based JB ROMs. I think the latest version of CyanogenMod is JB-based.
When it comes to performance we are limited by our hardware, 512MB RAM with 1GHz isn't enough to run JB smoothly especially if you want good gaming performance. What you can do is try CyanogenMod (custom kernel) or the simpler approach is use a stock ICS based custom ROM with ported features. Check out the android dev section in our forums there are so many ROMs with ported features from newer/better phones.

there is no ''ICS-based JB ROM'S'' its based on JB OR ICS. the latest official CM for our devices is cm10= which is JB 4.1.2 (and below like ICS), also mike ported CM' 10.1 (JB 4.2.2) & CM10.2 (JB 4.3) to our devices, as he ported it from CM'S git its unoffical , but its the best JB xperience u can get now for our devices.

yeah i agree , software cant make wonders, there HW limit's ; thats what we have to accept...
but, u can run JB smooth also day to day, mike's CM10.1 is very stable, ofcourse u get some more batery on ICS bcuz 3.xxx kernel is a beast
- also JB is a way smoother than any ICS i had (i installed many), also for ram, u get more in JB (= in my case i can play better games on JB...)
but ICS has the most mods here / and ported stuffs...
THIS LAUNCHER is the only launcher for KITKAT for gingerbread and is only 30% kitkat and looks not THAT real - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2514743
I've seen some of ics and jb compatible kitkat launchers of kitkat which are gr8! but none for gingerbread. Now some dev, pls do port or make a new one for our gingerbread!
I'll be real thankful, gr8ful, helpful to you.:good:
Many 2.3 users wanna enjoy kitkat feel!
(I'm using Galaxy Y which is not upgradable to ICS using CyanogenMod also. SO don't talk about that. Also I want idpi layout 240x320 pixels )
