Is it possible to uninstall the x2 data manager service and if so what needs to be deleted? I personally like using green power because it detects running apps that require data. Or would installing it just override the built in manager
Are you talking about in the settings menu? the one with battery manager?

Not sure if I'm deleting something I shouldn't but every time I use the P3droid root after about a day I get the error com.motorola.contacts and i can't get into my contacts. Anyone else run into this problem? If so how do I fix it?

Have you frozen or deleted anything? Usually messing with the authenticators does it

I've taken them all off, just not yahoo. No one has had that issue from taking those ones off. Plus I defrost all of them and the issue is still there...

Is there an app for a rooted phone that can increase the speaker volume past the factory settings? I want this because i am in a noisy environment all the time, and when i watch media on my phone it is no where near loud enough. My phone is rooted and would like to not have to put a ROM on my phone if I don't have to. I have downloaded Equalizer and Volume+ neither of which did anything.
I'd like to know too. Even if it would distort the sound. Sometimes its needed.

Check out volume+ at androidaudiohacks.com. It's free and in beta. You just have to register on the site.
Edit: Probably would help if I read your post all the way through. Have you tried PowerAmp? It does have an option for "phone speaker loud" in the eq settings.

Which is built into eclipse. You might be able push it to your phone if you find the apk somewhere though

So my friend has a thunderbolt and on his notification bar it has all the apps he's using and a music section to change your songs. Its a rather cool addition to the phone and I was wonder how I could get this on the x2

Does anyone have any clue about this? It would be nice to have

Someone would have to port it over t the x2 and probably be part of a theme but I am just guessing in that it is part of the HTC Sense UI
weird I just figured it was a cool enough feature that someone had already done it

More I think about it I am willing to bet that is a HTC Sense UI feature and not portable anyway. Just my best guess though
Well that would suck. Does anyone know forsure?

Maybe try asking in the HTC forum. Someone over there will probably know. Most of the people in this forum probably dont have HTC phones.

I remember someone talking about ROM toolbox in the Market. Use it to customize items in notification bar. I don't know how it works, but worth checking it out and maybe another ROM has that feature.
Sent from my DROID X2 using XDA App
Ill look into that thanks for the ideal

Rom toolbox has the option to change icons in you status bar. Nothing to that level of modification.
Also use it carefully. I tried to change my font with it once and i ended up with a bootloop.

None of our roms have this.
I don't think it is just HTC sense that has this....thought I saw it on the galaxy nexus as well.
I think it could be possible
just a lot.of work to get it....
Well it would be something amazing to get. Just throwing that out there

Has anybody used any apps that can activate the camera flash to blink for text messages?
Sent from my DROID RAZR using xda premium
Seen that on my bro's iphone 5. It's as if he set it up on purpose to show it off... pfffft apple fanboys lol
Just use lightflow app and it will use your led notification. Plus lightflow can be customized for tons of apps.
Sent from my DROID RAZR using xda premium
Pretty sure LightFlow allows you to set the camera flash to be used as the notification light. It does have a setting to choose it, but I've never had the need, so I don't know if or how well it works.
Sent from my DROID RAZR Maxx using XDA Premium
There is an option in LightFlow to enable it but I couldn't get it to work.

I tried light flow a while ago and it didn't work for me either. :/

This can be found in settings...accessibility. maybe not. I just looked. But I have seen this before within stock options.

After trying so many apps, I finally found one that worked. Try FlashOnRing.

I have a tasker profile for that ... it works
This app works like the iphone's flash alerts, choose module 3 in the app. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.megawave.flashalerts
