Live Wallpaper on TW Lockscreen? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-I777

I know that Samsung disabled live wallpapers on the newest TouchWiz.
My question is, is there a way to re-enable the use of them?
I am currently using widgetlocker, but I find it to be clunky sometimes.
My phone is rooted and running Cognition X2.
Thanks in advance!

[Q] Pixelated Wallpaper with CM7

Hey everyone, did a search here and couldn't find anyone else with this issue. I was running stock for the last month and had no issues using a custom wallpaper (1080x960) that I made. Just flashed CM and that same wallpaper is pixelated, even using different launchers (ADW, GO, Zeam, etc.) Any ideas?
I recall people saying it's the Gallery's fault, try setting it as wallpaper with some other application from the Market.
There we go. Used Quickpic. Thanks!

Live wallpaper on ICS TW lockscreen

Is there any way to use live wallpapers on the lockscreen without using an external app such as widgetlocker? I don't like it at all and it also messes with other lockscreen widgets such as those from poweramp/winamp.
Not yet, but why you need this?
try miui
I don't think that it's really needed and usable. Did you have a look on the miui-unlocker-app?
goto app.miui.com
@078gregory: I don't "need" it, but i like having a consistent look throughout the UI. What's the purpose of android if you can't tailor to your liking?
@[email protected]: Thanks, will have a look although i don't think it's what i'm looking for.

[Q] Live Wallpaper scroll/pane ?

I have the Telus version (I717) and with any Launcher (Go, Pro, ADW) I get any standard WP to scroll (if you enable it properly in the Launcher). But I cannot get any Live WP to scroll?
I have been reading on this, and there is a lot of confusion, we need to be specific about wich Launcher and what type of WP (Live or Standard) and if standard your image have to be wider then 800 (preferably 1600).
So my understanding is the stock launcher (TouchWiz) does not have the scroll function, it needs to be added with an app or a launcher. I tested that Pro, Go and ADW sroll standard WP fine with the proper settings and image. But so far there is no way to have Live WP to scroll (for those Live WP that have that feature).
1. Can anyone confirm my understanding?
2. And tell me if there is any confirmation of where this limitation is comming from (hardware, OS, Carrier...)?
3. Also is there any other lead or thread about a potential solution?
thanks.
Does anyone have any update on this problem?
I'm using Apex and my Nexus Revamped scrolls fine. Have you tried Apex?
You have to go into Apex Settings -> Homescreen Settings -> Wallpaper scrolling.
Also, some live wallpapers don't scroll for me.

Could you please tell me wich LWP (live wallpaper) do scroll with Apex?
And did you try if they also scroll with other launcher?
Thanks.

Microbes, Nexus Revamped and Beautiful Widgets were the only ones I tested for scroll. I haven't tried other launchers, for I was happy with TWlauncher for the longest time. Sorry!
hyukki,
I just noticed that you are using ICS (Apex require ICS), this problem is related to an apparent limitation of the Galaxy Note with Gingerbread, so it does not apply.
Also I am not sure that Microbes, Nexus Revamped and Beautiful Widgets LWP have a scrolling left/right animation when you scroll left/right on home screen?
Thanks anyway,
PS: If you have a Note, how did you upgraded to ICS?

Ah sorry, I shouldn't have assumed. They all do scroll, just as you would expect the scrolling animation to be. Not really sure how I'd explain it.
As to how I got ICS is from one of the threads about ICS leaks. I downloaded the odin exe and got it done really simply. If you are new to flashing/roms, I suggest reading about the process and reverting, nandroid backups, bootloaders and other important things.

S3 Launcher - Wallpapers are not sized correctly

Ok, I searched and searched (with Search and Manually) for an answer, but I can't find it. My apologies if this has been answered.
Info:
AT&T Note
Official ICS Stock ROOTED
I installed the TW from the SGS3 (the 5x6 version) and everything works GREAT, except the Wallpaper.
I tried the whole QuickPic trick and no matter what I use to set the wallpaper, it's still zoomed in.
Has anyone had any luck with this? I would LOVE to use the launcher, but this one issue is just driving me batty as all hell! :silly:
Thanks!

[Q] Touchwiz Wallpaper selector

Sorry if this is in the wrong section. I am been trying out different launchers on my Archos tablet and really like a couple of them. One thing I noticed is the different method of selecting wallpapers compared to my S2. My S2 doesn't seem to crop any pictures and still allows the image to scroll. Looking at the apps it appears to be down to the Touchwiz launcher or the touchwiz wallpaper selector.
Is there a way I can get the launcher or wallpaper selector onto my tablet? Just recently went back to Touchwiz on my S2 because of this. I went to select a new wallpaper while using Nova Launcher and it wanted me crop it again. The wallpaper selector seems to be the best one I've seen so far.
Thanks,
Archos gen8, gen9, gen10..??
Just install a custom ROM on your tablet which has the touchviz UI...
That should do the thing...
Press thanx if I helped. ..
