About 3 months ago , my bluetooth started to become increasingly difficult to turn on , and when it would turn on , it wouldn't connect with either my headset or truck. I have posted this question in various other Galaxy s2 forums , had numerous chat sessions with Samsung , performed both a soft , and a factory re set , and still the problem persists. Some days it will turn on right away , then connect to a device , other days it takes up to 30 minutes to turn on , and still other days it won't turn on at all. On the days that it does turn on , it usually will disconnect within 5 minutes , and then won't turn back on again. I rely on this feature heavily , and no one can seem to figure out what the problem is . I have taken it to someone local who performed a diagnostic check on it and all he could tell me is that it either the board , or antenna. I have also just upgraded to ICS , no help there either. Thanks in advance for your help
Warranty still good? Tell them to give you a new device.
If it's the antenna, it's a faulty device; If it's the mobo, it's a faulty device.

out of warranty
Flash away then, get the ROMs at sammobile.com
Ok , i knew i was out of my league here ! I don't know what flashing is( at least the kind we are talking about here ! ) , and i don't know what a ROM is. You wouldn't believe me if I told you how long it took me to do the factory re set ! Does sammobile have instructions for the tech challenged ? i can't even read the damn spam code , I am on my 7th attempt to reply. Maybe I will go back to my flip phone
You can read the guides posted around the forum or you can get started by getting Mobile odin app, of course you'll need root to use it.

Hello guys, a couple of days ago my N7100 Note 2 started freezing randomly (while browsing the net via firefox/chrome, using Whatsapp, or even when unlocking or locking the screen) it was with a stock Android 4.1.2 (no root or anything , RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX) after a factory reset (backup & reset option) it didn't get fixed . then I decided to update to 4.3 via Kies (After a hard reset - the Vol up + home + lock buttons method) which I heard often helps in these cases, and it didn't, if anything the hangings and freezing only increased after I did that.
Then, I read online that its a common problem within the Note 2 model and that I just got an "Insane/Bad chip" or something, that dies over time.
(I have this phone for exactly 1 year now)
I dont think its an app-related issue, and obviously rooting wont help (no custom ROMs have been previously installed or anything.)
The question is, Is there anything to do before I go out and buy a new phone ?
This is very urgent due to the fact that Im using my smartphone like 24hours a day (reading, working on projects, sketching and lots of other stuff, and I actually cant handle anything without it, a lot depends on this phone.
so basically just tell me if should I go to the store today and get some S4/S5 or something instead of hoping my Note 2 will gain its functionality back ? Thank you in advance for your help.
Well I'm first gonna say that : i apollagize for my writing and if you can atleast read all of it even though I tend to rant a lil I could really use sum assistance!!
I got a Samsung Galaxy S3 It was unlocked n pretty sure refurbished & then I rooted it....not sure on where this phone originally came from but but now it's dead & I need help turnin it on and getting it back to working state.. cause I'm a newbie at all,,
& I'm prepaid so switching with the unlocked device shouldn't of been this difficult but I was at first with speakout (711) & set the apn setting in my S3,then my Data worked just no sms ....so I figured when my plan expired I would switch to telus & maybe get better signal / service But I've now come to realize that thinking was incorrect ...after signing up for telus everything went bad I barely could hold a signal or even make calls it just wouldn't pick up signal eve though it says telus
But it's had problems with wifi/signal since day one so I did a little research (2/3 days reading )but obviously not long/ well enough & in the midst of being half asleep I hit factory reset.. This is where it gets interested cause. Immediately after that my phone only went to either just the samsung logo , battery page or recovery etc
So then I did a lil research & found sum guidance I downloaded Oden, drivers etc
And after following instructions and running oden my phone hasn't tuned on maybe a lil flash but that's it ...
Is this fixable ?? ...can someone please help me ... I was thinking of changing Roms but always a lil scared tp even try and attempt but I did like the looks of :Cm11, PAC , Vyper
I need some guidance...proper guidance , I ain'ta smart cookie but I catch on fast ) I'm just a silly stoner lol help me get my cell back to working state

Hi everyone!
I really need your help. My Samsung GT-E2121B keeps on looping at boot and it only shows the samsung logo. Do you know any software that can fix this that does not require box like z3x, jtag, etc.? I can't afford to buy a box and I want to repair my phone. I don't want to spend just to get my phone fixed. Maybe there's another way around.
