Hello to the forum. This is my first Android phone. Just came from the iPhone and I doubt I will ever go back.
I did a search and have not been able to find anything on how to remove the "Sent from my Samsung SHG-I777 using Tapatalk" Is this a Tapatalk issue? Mail issue?
Great forum.

2 completely different apps.
in tapatalk, you go into settings, and hit Tapatalk signature set it to NONE
in mail, look in the settings and you will find the option to turn off the signature or set it to whatever you like
that being said, which one are you looking for?

Works perfectly for me now. Thanks a lot. I thought it was the other way around, 3rd party apps needed to be on.

im running MIUI 4.1.2 and its not under that. Do you know where to find it on my build?
I'm a youth pastor and send texts to around 80 students about events and things we are doing. I send mass texts to them quite often and the most annoying thing I've run into is the SMS hour limit. I can't remember if it's 100 or 160 but either way after I surpass that number within an hour (only two mass texts to my students) I then see a popup warning after every individual text. I then have to manually click yes after each warning or my messages never send. I found this thread but it doesn't seem to work...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=626771
Any suggestions?

Google Voice supports mass sms
Wow I had no idea there was a limit and I text a lot. Is this carrier specific I wonder?
Sent from my SGH-I777 using Tapatalk 2
Mass texting is not the problem. There is a setting embedded in the Android OS that makes a warning popup after you reach a certain number of texts PER HOUR. It is not carrier specific it is within the Android OS settings. any other ideas?
Hmmmmm. Very interesting. I don't have the slightest clue.

I'll screenshot the next time it happens. I'm always running the most current version of tasks' AOKP ROM.

If you read the thread I linked in my OP it seems that it is a system warning and not carrier or ROM based.

I read it, i was just stating that it must be reachable either in the framework.jar or somewhere else in the system files.

It was really annoying me so I did some searching and I found this thread.

Basically if you use titanium back up, you can just freeze or delete "com.htc.htcpowermanager" and it'll disappear.
I just thought I'd share with you guys, credit goes to to the guy who found this in the link above, I'm just passing it on.
EDIT: Freezing or deleting it will both cause your battery menu in settings to disappear. This isn't really an issue to me as there isn't really anything in there that you can do, besides see whats' eating your battery. IMO this is negligible especially when new roms will be rolling out soon, hopefully with a work around.
Wouldn't delete it just in u may need it later. Freezing is the best option for all annoying system apps. Thanks for sharing the link tho.

Read the edit I just made to the OP.
In JB you can long-tap on a notification and click on App Info. I did a Force Stop there, notification went away. Hopefully there are no other side effects. If there are any, I will report them.
LOL 5 minutes later, and it's back. And you cannot uncheck "Show Notifications"
I used this to get rid of mine. Think its a good alternative.

I have had mine turned off since I loaded the Rom and its still there. If we could just unlock the show notification option maybe that would turn off the one minor annoyance.
Is there documentation on what the power saver function specifically does?

Yup, no measure or zoom buttons = no upgrade for me, i use them all the time. I heard that they were shooting for a more iphone look. ie. less options. Funny really, everything apple made fun of with their "1984" anti conformist ad campaign they actually became. I digress lol

Strange. Well you can always uninstall and reinstall from the play store. That actually even got rid of some of the lag I was experiencing in the app.
