[Q][CM7]Restoring calendar app (odexed) - Galaxy Ace S5830 General

Went from CM7 (KANG) Beta1 to RC1.
I think I messed the calendar up when restoring the data from the old calendar (noticed that it wasnt the same version afterwards). So the RC1 version isnt de-odexed so i'm wondering how I can restore my calendar.
Tried replacing calendar.apk/odex and calendarprovider.apk/odex, setting permission to rw-r--r-- but it didnt work. Any clue?
FC note:
Sorry!
The application Calendar (process com.android.calendar) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again)

Thanks for the reply, but how about /data/data/com.android.calendar?
I tried with some others settings and forgot to write down what it used to be xD
edit: nvm on that question since i just had to compare to the other folders in the same location!
But the problem still remains ....

Gmail....
My gmail shows in the count that I have 5 messages unread, but none show in the gmail app, but will show if I go on my computer.

I suppose you could try (from home) settings->applications->manage applications, find "Gmail storage", tap it and choose "clear data" and have it re-sync from scratch.
(It may not be "Gmail storage" - if you don't have that, do the same for "Gmail". If you do need to wipe data for Gmail, just note that you may have to go back over the gmail settings to change any settings that you may have customized.)
I've had this happen to me a lot in the past, mostly when I restore a NAND. Really the only thing you could try would be to wipe Dalvik and flash gapps. However when this happens to me I usually do a full data/dalvik wipe (not a factory reset, but wipe from recovery), reflash the ROM and gapps (if the ROM does not come with it baked in, i.e. CELBfroyo).
I can't attest to the first option, I always go for the wipe and reflash just to ensure a clean install.
I just recently restored from a cm7 rom of tazz's, flashed back to tazz floyo v5, same thing happened again. The counter in my gmail app counts messages that are coming in but never show. I go to computer to check gmail, they are there. Anyone find a fix yet?
Please help, very annoying...

Help!!!!! Adding Contact Force Closes!!

When ever i try to add a contact my contacts app force closes. This happened to me the other day so wiped out the phone and started from scratch and it was fixed. Now randomly today it started to do it again. I just rooted it last night (shouldn't matter). I was trying to add a contact through the go sms app, then i tried again through the normal contacts app and i still can not get it to do anything. Just force closes. Any help to fix this would be great!!!!
Thanks!

logcat works fine without root. Just need ADB running. Try Droid Explorer if you're on Windows.

The one in the market is version 2.x which is not designed for Honeycomb, unless I'm missing something here?
If its messed up on a fresh ROM install, you should let the dev know so he can work it out.

Probably ROM fault. I've experienced similar thing about inability to install apps that worked previously on other ROMs. Did you wipe Dalvik cache?

Try other ROMs or other Swype type keyboards.

[Q] Play Store

Hi, earlier today I was trying to download the update for Temple Run 2 from the Play Store but every time it downloads I get the "Package File is Invalid" error. Does anyone know a way to fix this? Or can someone post there apk file to the version v1.0.1.1? Everything I have tried hasn't worked. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Try wiping cache & davlik cache via recovery if your rooted. Then when you boot back up clear data & cache on the following apps via settings, applications manager.
"Play store,Google services, & Google framework". Then reboot & see if it still gives you the error.

I noticed in your screen shots you didn't force close the apps. I should have mentioned that in the first post. Try the steps again but this time force close the apps as well. Also are you rooted ??
Edit- Do you have market feed back agent app enabled or disabled ?? If its disabled then I'd recommend enabling it.
