Hi everyone, Crypt0night and myself working on a porting from sensation 2.08.401.1 (Sense 3.5_android 2.3.5) ..
at this moment many bugs are presents so we can't release a beta or an initial release cause the device is unisable ( no sound= no calling so it's a big problem for a device )
so be patient we work hard to find the solution to make the rom usable ...
if any dev wanna colaborate it will be very nice ....
so this thread is for an anouncement about working on sense 3.5 for GSM .. so don't worry we will got a sense 3.5 on our evo 3D GSM ..
ps : a last thing, sorry for my poor english .. and for any question u got the thread or PM me or Crypt0night

trust me guys the rom running great .. if everyone wanna know, no problem of resizing, GPS working good, 3G working, Beats added, camera working for picture in 2D and 3D with the switch button, 3D display work just after the capture (not in gallery), wifi work

the rom is unisable .. the rom ahevn't sound so u can't call anyone and nobody can call u ^^ ..

Replaced all bin files
Replaced every audio related lib
Checked every line of code in boot.img
Updated radio to latest
Updated hboot to latest
Debugging,debugging and debugging with logcat....
Strange part is there is almost non errors in logcat:s

Yes i was, only differents is that i only focused on audio bug and Will did more on the other bugs. I have Tested the rom and looks really good (except the audio)

You know, asking for help with an attitude usually doesn't garner positive results.
FYI, that ROM is just a sense 3.0 ROM ported FROM the sensation for smaller screen devices, lol, all you need is a custom sense ROM from our forums, it will be MUCH more stable than a port of a port I am guessing from your country flag that you have a GSM version, so check in the GSM EVO 3D development section.

uhm.. so the evo have a smaller screen resolution than the sensation? or did i understand that wrong?
well, i tryed insert coin, have some market issues, high rom camera issues and leedroid... idk, i tryed this too.
for me, virtuous is the most stable rom now.

If I understand correctly, you're asking if you can choose the files from that ROM already uploaded to UOT kitchen to create a custom theme for the ROM you have on your Evo 3D?
If that is the case, it probably won't work, because the Evo 3D's resolution is higher than the Desire HD (which is the phone the ROM you linked is for)>

most of the time I upload the files fresh from the ROM I wish to modify, because it will have the best chance of working. I know that uploading a 40MB file every time you want to create a theme is not practical, but because I don't have a GSM Evo, I don't know if any of the previously uploaded files will work...

MDJ Already done the job of creating a AOSP kernel (for the ICS) So i mod can close this thread
I have started working for some days now on the AOSP kernel.
I'm porting the changes from this kernel over to ours. So far it goes like planned only its a lot of work.
I think if i work hard it will be done tomorrow and we can go testing to get a MIUI or CM7 rom running on our beloved devices

KingCobra in my opinion is the best and most stable.
I haven't had any major problems with it.
Cool first, and Anryl second
Mwakious was the first custom ROM I tried on my E3D, felt like not as good as the stock ROM (I tried about 1 week after the official update to ICS from HTC). "good" in term of stable, battery,... I also don't like the customized boot screen
Then I tried Anryl, used it for up to a month. Felt like stable as stock ROM, but with more tweaks (of course ), but still not happy with the battery life.
Then I tried Yoda's. It doesn't work on my phone (always got "Problem with UI", even I tried to clean everything before installation). Then, bye-bye it, to go to Cool's.
Cool's battery consumption is good, and less bug. So now I'm using it, happily waiting for Coolexe's every kernel update.
maybe you are right ,,, I just tried Mwakious .. I feel it has some LAG ..
I prefer Predator

No 3d but high speed mobile works as far as I can tell, 3d won't happen, I understand it's a java issue and kernel issue, all you have to do is go to infectedrom.com go to evo cdma development find vioer venom rom click download and download the multi version, for both cdma and gsm, it's nice

I'll try it out, but, I'd rather keep the 3D considering it's in the phone's name.

Yes, I know what you mean but I bought the phone for it's awesome dual core cpu, ram 3d was not the selling feature for me.
Vitrouos rom is not the best, there's been many overall improvements, sound, tweaks, preformance.

ok ... I flashed it ... and it didnt work .. after flashing ... the phone keep rebooting .. i waited for 4 reboots but nothing changed

In aroma it ask's if you would like to do a full wipe, yes, full wipe is required.

Hi people. I decided to create a thread specially for talkin about my new update for my rom (Shooter Beats NG)..
For the moment it's only for GSM .
Let's talk about it
Based on 3.28.401.1 and completly themed with sense 5 look.
It's not finish but it will be supported to get it very close to Sense 5 .

Afaik leedroid tweaks are available somewhere to be installed via recovery. So it's not a big deal at all if they're not integrated from the start.

Hi people. Ok let's talk about the release..
It will be release mauve tonight or tomorrow.
What you will get on this release ..
- based on 3.28.401. (GSM only)
- improve scrolling on rosie (ultra smooth)
- improve data speed
- UI themed as Sense 5 ( not finished ) but clean for first release
- Clean beats effects. ( with and without headphones)
- stock kernel but got permission from anryl to use his kernel. So i will try recompile the boot.img for the next release.
- Mod the rosie to feel like sense 4 on scrolling
- Sense 5 wallpaper, sound, keyboard, dialer, icons, clock widget
Note that the rom is very responsive and smooth .
This rom will not include leedroid tweaks.
If anyone got some knowledge on tweaks apk then come join me on This rom ..

Here is an unofficial version of Leedroid Tweaks for 3.28.401.1 base. I haven't made them, i'm just reuploading them because the Minus link doesn't seem to work. The user who uploaded them there seems to be Lothaen, so unless anybody else claims it, all credits go to him :laugh:.
I've used them before on this ROM and worked perfectly, but do a backup just to be sure. Just install from recovery and do the "Just in case" cache/dalvik cache wipes.

IMHO as willz said he wont include a leedroid tweak, because he already tweak it and maybe the mod from leedroid wont work since this ROM modded with sense 5 stuff..
But honestly, i dont know the detail..

Hi everyone! This is my first thread,but not my first coming here. Just as the tittle say, I don't know weather the ion kernel is necessary for us to port sense 5 with jb on our 3D. I learnt and searched from the internet,but i have no idea about that at all. I really want my 3d with sense4+,sense5 and jeallybean even kitkat working. I really like the awesome sense ui and there are many apk doesn't support ics. Some of the game say that they only support jb+, and i like sense very much,i use YAS4v11 now.So may i ask these question:anyone please can tell me how can i do for ion kernel for our 3d. For our evo 3D alive.
No one can solve this problem?I see many other old htc devices has good kernel, why not us?

I'm not a developer I just read things on the web, so I can't help. Actually we have a working ion kernel but hybrid (which means ION+PMEM memory allocating). The problem is on the camera drivers. That is the main issue for jb+.
