Sorry, but I have not explained well. I talk about to the sound of the earpiece. I hear very low the person who calls to me. I have tried with the original ROM and it passes the same to me. The question is if some file can be modified to increase the volume of the earpiece.
Thanks.

Please post in general or q&a. you only post in development if development for something is going on.

Two way voice recording no hope?

Any chance to get two ways voice recording enable on SK17i?
if u meant call recording then you can try auto call recorder even its free version is good with no limit cap on recording.
I support the topic. Is there any solution?

The latest version (1.0.8c) creates unreadable 3gp files (at least at my device). So i could not check this app. Currently I have found "CallRecorder S" stably writes both ways but, unfortunately, from a microphone. It is strange but other side sounds even better than my voice.
I am still looking for the application allows to record from the line at SE Xp Mini pro.
I understand that it can be useless in case of absence proper driver in the kernel, but I have not found any info that it is impossible.
I have finally get it work, but is there any other way to record it during using bluetooth?

let us know what u used
I use total recall and it works with build-in microphone, but only one side recording with bluetooth.
Use Rage Kernel, and choose an app to record calls.
2way call recording is possible with the right libs, so you need to modify your kernel.

Do you mean this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1398910) kernel or this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1549221) kernel?
First one only works with stock ROM, second only works with CM ROMs.

Someone is just using that application and can record the total conversation (two voices) ?
I would know what app is better for this...
Thanks!

I think that several applications are available. Call Recorder by Skvalex should work fine:

You are welcome. Let us know if it works because i am also interested in this. Another app that has been cited before is AutoCallRecorder by Roman G:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.romang.callrecorder&feature=order_history
It has been updated since the users posted in this thread their review. Maybe now it works.
Nice posts! Thanks dudes.
If someone flash the kernel, and lend only the audio libs (libaudio.so for example) related with 2WCR, if flashed to replace the stock libs, without flash the kernel, the 2WCR works?
Someone with flashed kernel can upload the .so files? I wanna to test, I'm just a curious noob
I want the .so:
libaudio.so
libaudioflinger.so
libaudiopolicy.so
Use Root Explorer or Root Browser from Google Play and navigate to /system/lib then copy the libaudio files to your sdcard, and upload, if someone want help. I will try today if possible.
Regards.

These files are not affected with kernel installation and are the same on most ROMs.

[MOD] Beats Audio on Android

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1511335
This thread has a link to a cwm flashable package that has Beats Audio libraries. I flashed it on my TouchPad and it sounds a lot better, but I might just be crazy?
Note: I'm using Beats headphones with it, not the speakers.
Double Note: I didn't pay for the headphones, don't worry. Ugh. haha
i think this is a more suitable topic

Most of these mods have no way of going back which is why you should always do a nandroid before applying any mods.

Well since your not giving the linke delete this topic. Keeping it up might get us newbs hopes up -_-
I can confirm that this does bring beats back to the touchpad pretty well. I have noticed that on the latest official nightly of cm9 the audio starts to malfunction when the screen turns off. Sounds like an AM radio and real crackly anyone know a fix?

I'd like to know that about the audio too - but as it's unfinished I assumed it was a problem to be expected.

Doesn't the Touchpad already have Beats Audio built in? The hardware is what's going to make the difference--this is just an equalizer with a bass boost.

Beats Audio isn't indicative of differing hardware. When the libs were extracted from the HTC Rezound, it was discovered that Beats is nothing more than a software EQ, capable of running on any device once the correct files are installed. Flash it and you'll hear a difference.
Cool

ICS Camera on Gingerbread

Dear all,
I understand that ICS update on our S2 brings (among other things):
- Stereo Sound on video recording
- Better image quality on photos and video
Is there a way to move these changes into gingerbread? I mean i don't wanna update to ICS, I'm fine on my custom 2.3.6 and just want Stereo Sound and better image quality
Should we just copy camera.apk?
Your thoughts please
Won't work. Different framework.

I guess it will work, cause it's coded within camera.apk.

does anybody have the official ICS for S2 camera.apk so i can try it ?

Just curious, what good is stereo sound with just one microphone and speaker? Is there a way to record with two real channels?

Yes, search these forums for a 30 step volume mod. Or simply flash Beats Audio which does it for you. If you're on GB, volume+ (APP) also does a great job.

Last i checked it was incompatible with my ROM/ICS not sure which. But perhaps it does, it's just i use it on an Ace i have. :fingers-crossed:
Volume+ did absolutely nothing for me using ICS. Tried and refunded it three times in testing.
