I am, and always have used my 8gb msdhc
Sent from my GT-S5830 using XDA App
I also use 8GB Micro SD HC
from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secure_Digital stated that anything above 4gb is microsdhc. "hc" stands for high capacity. ace supports upto 32gb. so, its just plain obvious
I am using a 16gb class 10 PNY card. Read speed in excess of 20Mbs write speed 9Mbs.
Suggest you buy a class 10 and also from a branded manufacturer. I read a review of some of the cards on ebay and people complaining of low r/w speeds on unbranded cards which is the reason u should by a branded card.

Hi All,
I am using the Tab with an SD to uSD adapter, but I want to buy a higher capacity uSD card and want to ensure it works on the Tab.
HAs anyone tried Class 10 SD or uSD cards with success?
No one is using the USB connection kit here?
I Use 32GB Class 10 from Transcend
If we're talking about the accessory Samsung sells where you insert an SD card in one end, and insert the other end into the Tab's 30-pin port - Then we are talking about the same thing . . .
I use that adaptor along with a Transcend 32gb Class 10 SDHC card. Works great for me.

Hello, All
Has anyone tested 64GB card in these mobiles?
How is the performance?
Is it worth buying?
Any advice welcome.
I am using 32GB mymemory.co.uk Microsd memory. it is fine but bit slow.
I have seen it is working on HTC Sensation and Galaxy S. Would it work on ours?
This not an ad. This is the only one in the market. It is good tell forum friend where to get it.

you should look for 32GB with higher class.
I have a class 4, 32GB micro sd card and i'm planning to buy a new one. I'm thinking about buying a class 10 64gb, but i don't know if the phone will support this much memory.
There is any drawback about having 64gb? Should i get a class 10 32gb instead?

It has been reported that Xperia 2011 devices like Arc S and Play support 64GB so I think it should work, but it is NOT advisable! And only ONE Neo V user has reported using 64GB hence it is a RISKY investment! :cyclops:
I'd say stick to buying a Class 10 32GB
But if you still wanna get the 64GB then here is the procedure - Insert the SDCard(It might show prompt saying Card is empty) and Format it from the phone(FAT32) and it should work.
Disclaimer : I got info from other posts. I'm not responsible if anything goes wrong with the 64GB choice! :cyclops:
Hello,
Would the new 128GB MicroSD work on the S3 or would there need to be a software mod or will it not work at all due to hardware limitations?
not sure if the link will post but its available on amazon for $119...
The gs3 microsd slot only works with a max of 64 gb. U shld have known when u looked at the specs. At least tat is wat Samsung said.

Although I can't guarantee it I would guess it works. My HTC Desire spec said that it only supported up to 32GB but I used a 64GB card fine in it. When it was released 32GB was the largest card available. Same with the S3 in that the 64GB card was the largest at the time.
Theorically could work, as sometimes the limitation is more of the format of the card. For example, I use a 64 GB card in my s3 without problem, and, in other devices, I have read about the format of the card to change this.
For example, the nintendo 3DS can use an SD card of maximum 32 GB, but if you have an sd of 64 GB, but format it as fat 32, you are able to use it.
The only problem is that you'll need a specific tool, if you are using windows, to format cards large than 32GB to use Fat32
It might work. I've seen cheap chinese phones support 32gb so I hope a 128gb should be no problem for the S3. But for $119, it's better (and cheaper) not to risk it.

Nice. You just need to format it to fat32

64GB working in Xperia SP officially supporting 32GB. I just let the phone format it. Hope it works for you!
Why waste in 128gb while u can buy 1-2TB hardisk for same amount

Hi my name is Jack, and I'm new here in the forum.
I just wondering if my Samsung Galaxy S3 (i9300) can support 128 Gb Micro SD microSDHC?
Something like this...
128 Gb Micro SD-TF Memory Card Class 10 With Adapter-USA
(Just copy the line and paste on Google to see the price of product)
I have knowledge that there is a SanDisk 128gb microSDXC. But I can not pay that much money ($ 120)
SanDisk 128GB microSDXC Ultra 128G microSD micro SDXC 30MB/s Class 10 UHS-1 Card
(Just copy the line and paste on Google to see the price of product)
Thanks in advance.

Samsung Galaxy S3 supports up to 64gb micro SD card. Moreover, I think 128 gb SD card is way too much for Galaxy S3, just imagine what will happen if you fill all the memory of the card. Thats why I suggest you buy a card with lower space, something like 16gb,32gb or 64gb.

I can not imagine that could happen, but... I already have a 64Gb card (and I have no space in it)
Because of this, I have this doubt.

Lol! I cannot believe it. What do you have in this card, how did you fill the entire 64 gb space?
64GB aint that much if you video record and have a lot of music files.
was wondering if there is a difference between Samsung and SanDisk cards in terms of working well with the S3. I have the samsung 64gb Class 10 UHS-1. Is there anything i should be aware of, stability, format etc.
Thanks
