Sound - Motorola Photon 4G

Hey guys my sound is playing through phone speaker and headset at the same time any fix?
Sent from my MB855 using XDA App

I believe I read that if you plug your headphones in and then pull them out, it fixes it. Someone raises this point in the 10/2 thread originally posted by Yay 4 Juggs over in the development section.

Subwoofer.apk v0.0

can someone make an app the can take the lower range audio and make it corisponed with the vibration ringer in your phone.
Its just for fun but it would be cool.
and kill your batt.
but i have seen it on a sprint phone alone time ago it was dialed in and it
was awsome!!
like so the bass hits on a ring tone and you feel it in your pocket. hehhe
if some one is willing to do this im am willing to donate =)
So all this app would do is play a very low pitched sound or would it need to be a specific frequency for this to work?
No. He means that use the vibration to imitate a subwoofer. That would sound pretty cool. Maybe just a novelty app but definitely cool nonetheless
My old nokia use to vibrate with the beat/pace of the polyphonic ringtone.
Id love to enable that feature on my vibrant!!

I would love to have this on my vibrant too,all the major companies used to have this on their normal phones, they were called vibtones,I don't know why they stopped.
This would be pretty cool.

I think that's kind of rude I mean he created the app I mean I u dersta d if you helped him encode but if all you did is create the thread you don't need any thinks IMO but ofcourse its the devolopers choice

He has a good point. You don't just create a ROM overnight just because you had this idea doesn't mean you get credit for it. He was more than likely already working on it

This thread is 2-3 years old. So eventuality some one will make the app because its a cool idea.
Ya guess given enough time some random person will do it on there own.

I think that what happened was quite the opposite. The dev created the app, and then he was searching on google for threads of people asking about such app, and posting the link. I don't really think that the idea came from this thread because it was posted 2 years ago. It would not take 2 years to develop that app.

Any chance of getting this app compatible with 2.2 Froyo? I like my 2.2 Roms too much to upgrade. JellyBean has GPS problems and 2.3 is terrible IMO. Maybe you could post the apk and I can see if it works? Playstore won't let me download, says incompatible device unfortunately.

2.2 doesn't support visualizer API's so it isn't possible..

I actually tried to make a phone call using this rom just now. The really loud static went on as it was dialing and hurt my ears. I have very sensitive hearing and (I'm not kidding) some blood came out of my left ear. I have to wait for my brother to take me to the clinic I think.

This turns out to be a horror story, i really hope you are alright.
Tried myself to use the "Beats audio" mod but quit because always getting loud and distorted noises, i think this might be the cause of your mishap.
I'm not taking your post as a joke as i know some people that have very sensitive hearing,
just as you say you do.

Or you can just get high quality cans and use .wav or .flac on your music player (I use Power Amp).

Lol relax dude. There's nothing wrong with posting in an old thread with relevant information. I found it helpful.
Sometimes I post questions on forums and then move to another thing and then a month or three later remember, oh yea... I did ask on XDA, wonder if I ever got a reply. Its good to see someone is looking through the "old threads". JMHO

I apologize. I look at reviving old threads a different way. Every forum I came from had rules concerning it and I applied them incorrectly. We're done.

How can I turn off lock screen haptic feedback in CM9?

Title says it. Looked thoroughly and couldn't find the setting to turn it off. I've asked in the nightly thread as well.
Bump- anybody?
Was trying to find that out myself awhile ago with the s2. No answers for me either. I assume there isn't a way.

Yeah that seems to be the general consensus
"answer questions, give thanks, support the community"
Yes there is solution.
Download fluxy kernel ang fluxy app then sound and vibration then -6.
Or quiet time 9:00 am to 8:58 am.
Or your going to edit some system lines to turn it of.
Pick one.

Making your loudspeaker louder for listening to music/videos

Having seen someone else's mod to make headphones louder I decided to have a little play, with editing the default_gain.conf in /ect follow these pics for details. I changed the value from whatever it is was default I think it was 57 (maybe wrong) up to 61 with no loss in audio quality with quite good gains in volume. I take no responsibility for blown speakers ect. If you found this info of any interest hit thanks and share your results. Thanks every1

Hi, did you ever find the answer to this? I have been searching for days now on how to boost the in call volume on my N7105 running CM11.
I was using SlimKat which for the most part I liked better apart from the recent apps list and the fact that I couldnt seem to pick up a 4G signal in a known 4G area with it.
I am probably old fashioned but I still want to be able to use my phone as a "phone" from time to time.
Thanks in advance
There is no such file in CM roms. This file (default_gain.conf) can be found only in Samsung based roms. Thought you guys already knew this.

Thanks for clarifying this, now, is there any way I can boost the incall volume in CM11? It really is dire and am finding myself more and more inclined to go back to stock as unless i am in a place as quiet as a library I cannot hear people speak on calls
