Hello all,
I flashed cyanogenmod succesfully, did the wipe n all, and my wifi works for browsing the internet, but when i try an application like teamviewer, it only works trough 3G data connection. Same thing with Sygic mobile navigation for downloading maps, 3G works, but wifi doesnt.
So i can get a connection with my router and use the internet, but wifi works with limitations, anyone have a clue?

I can't get my browser to work on 3G - everything else works(Market, YouTube app etc.)
I've tried to re-add the setup for Internet - which doesn't work.
The browser works a charm, when i'm on WiFi. Problem is that i'm hardly near a Wifi network, so i really need my 3G connection.

HI. I just flashed xMIUI 2.0 and I am experiencing a weird problem with my home's wifi.
I conected to the network with no problem. but i only have internet connection for some seconds. like i open the browser put an adress and it loads the site but just after that the internet conection is gone. not the network connection .just the internet. when I try a public hotspot it works ok.
This didnt happened with sock ICS
now i found something even worse. when i conect the XU to my network and the internet fails, it fails in all wireless devices. wierd no?
Can someone help?
hey guys, i have a question about the wifi hotspot, i have 1gb 3g data but i try to share it with notebook but i dont get internet, but on phone it works fine, sometimes the hotspot works though but thats 2/10 times, is it a problem with the provider or the phone?

I have an old backup phone running Cyanogenmod 7.2 that I very occasionally use. Now, however, I got a new PC (actually, second-hand) which is great, but it does not have a WiFi card.
I was thinking that I could connect that old phone via USB and use it as a WiFi card of sorts.
However, it seems that tethering the phone will only share the mobile data plan, and not the WiFi connection.
Is there some way that I can thether the phone to share ONLY its WiFi data, and not its mobile data? I could not find a Play Store app that does stuff like this...

i have a problem, my wifi only allows for around 3mbit/s connection, mobile data works perfectly fine, but its slow on wifi? rom is the latest stock miui12
has anyone an idea on what to check? its the same for every wifi i connect to.
