chrisrotolo looked into this because the softbank rom changes the Dell boot logo. However, he concluded that it is encrypted inside of the official PKG file and impossible to easily change without someone giving up the keys.

Hey everybody, got some wallpapers, ringtones, and a boot animation from the Motorola Atrix 4G. Enjoy!
I think the boot animation should work on most devices. I tested it out on my Samsung Captivate. I promise it's more impressive on the phone than in my video below. My camera doesn't capture dark colors well.

I've modified the desc.txt file from the bootanimation.zip file so that it loads the red logo only.
If you place it in the system/media folder, it should work properly.

If you want to just install the red logo boot animation, you need to root your device and buy Root explorer to install the bootanimation.zip file in the System/Media folder.
There are other methods explained somewhere, I don't remember where.

Same problem, I have used Super Manager to move the bootanimation.zip file into my system/media folder and then attempted to reboot.
My phone boots normally, without the new boot animation.
Any ideas?

I love the nexus one bootup screen! One of my favs but I have an all black theme on my Trigger and thought it would be sweet to have that boot up screen in black and white. Instead of the google colors making the "X" just have the sparks in white with a black background. Anyone up for the challenge???

The initial part of old animation is deleted since the total length of the animation is not short enough for our phone to show....
Animation with blue flash is attached in first post....
One more animation (Arc) is added...guys pls comment!!!!

hi nick,I always like the aesthetic of alienware its pretty cool.Im not fan of gaming, but their models are freaking awesome. Although, I settled for a Dell XPS17 on my new laptop with almost the same specs as the alienware I was looking at, but half the price. Why get an expensive alienware when you can customize/theme me xps .
Same for my streak..I dont think alienware will jump in the bandwagon and make their own phone.so might as well get it themed.

you can change the speed on the text description (third number from first line) from 15 to any speed you want and save in to zip

This Theme is only for Froyo based ROMs. It is my version of Red and Black.
The Flux Capacitor Boot Animation is based off an image of an Iphone app I found by Pocket Paradox. I am working on updating it a bit more when I can. I have a few ideas of what I want it to look like for the Final Version, I only need the time to work on it.

It should work in that location, make sure you do not have another bootanimation in data/local.
Did you see your previous boot animation?
Yea removed it and added this one. Just got a black screen at turn on.
