I'm on the road quite a bit these days, and I've found that the data connection on my phone is faster than my hotels paid service. So needless to say, I'm tethering. This morning I woke up to find the following text message. The second picture shows that this message was received after about 4GB of transfer. LAME!!!!

Free T-Mobile Message: Due to the amount of data you have used this billing cycle, your data speed will be slowed for the remainder of the cycle.

Anyone else notice a ridiculous high back ground data usage for Google music... my battery doesn't die or run short ever but it's telling me it's using 30gb in 4 days... I have unlimited data but it just seems weird

I have my data usage cycle set to reset on the 1st of every month. If I want to check out the whole cycle's usage by dragging the left marker all the way to the left, it also counts the last day of the previous cycle.
Here's a screenshot to illustrate what I'm talking about:

Hello all. I did some speed test on my phone and PC via USB tethering (which I pay for) and got amazing speeds. This is the band 4 XLTE. Forced and unforced band 4 yield the same results.. This is normal speeds, well varies between 90 and 105 on download.

How did you get in service mode? I tried all codes can never get in anything.
Please post in the existing thread for this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2530234

Rochester, NY. It was within city limits, in an industrial area, at a little after 7pm. I figure the tower was probably close and there weren't many people using it.
As you can see from my screen shot below in the last month the System Account has transferred over 1GB of data; this happens monthly.
All the data transfer happens in the background, also, I can't disable data transfer for this app.
Does anyone else have this problem? Is the Chinese government spying on me? I can't actually tell what it is transferring, only that it sucks up data on my network plan. Interestingly, data transfer only seem to occur when I'm on my mobile network rather than using WiFi.
