[Q] Can't open camera settings - 7 Mozart General

Hi all
On my Orange UK branded Mozart the camera settings entry in the main camera menu is greyed out and inactive. Is that standard for the Mozart?
I installed a xap called something like "OMEGA_camera_enhancement_OEM.xap" which added an entry in the setting page called "camera modes" which just tells me to access the modes from the camera settings menu.
Has anybody else observed this behaviour? If so, do you have a solution?
Cheers

[Q] Missing menu option???: Can't change E-mail notification ringtone

Hi,
I'm on ROM Batista 3.5 with a very strange and annoying problem: the menu option to change the ringtone for my Gmail accounts is missing. On my HTC Desire I simply go to Gmail-Menu-More-Settings-Notification settings- Select ringtone.
On my Galaxy S2 this menu option is completely missing. I can go to Gmail-Menu-More-Settings-(pick an account)-Notification settings, but the select ringtone and all the other E-mail notification options are just not there. I'm pretty sure I had the exact same problem on ROM Litening v5.0. Google/XDA search seems to suggest I'm the only one so far facing this problem.
The E-mail notification is now set as the sms ringtone and its' driving me nuts. Does anyone know how I can change or at least kill the E-mail ringtone (and reactivate the relevant menu options in the settings menu)? Am I totally daft and missing the menu option or is something more serious going on in my ROM?
Solved!
Apparently you have to click through to "labels to notify" to get to the settings. No idea which Korean engineer came up with that one, but at least it's solved...
I don't have that ROM or that problem, but thanks for posting the solution. No doubt someone else will have the same problem.
This problem only occurs from Gmail 2.3.5 onwards, because they changed the location of the settings.
I can not find this setting anywhere either. Been hunting for 30 minutes now.
I went to labels but I don't see anything there either. Where the heck did they hide these settings?
EDIT:
Menu -> More -> Settings
Under the account settings heading, tap your email account name.
Scroll to the bottom.
Tap Labels to notify.

[Q] Camera settings reset problem

Hey guys, whenever I exit the stock camera app on my fully stock (new, not rooted, virgin mobile canada, 2.3.3) samsung galaxy s2, it resets the settings I've made inside the camera app.
For example, I could turn auto contrast on and place a couple shortcuts for ISO and such on the shortcut bar. This works fine.
But as soon as the app is unloaded from the RAM (ie closes), these settings are deleted. When I load the camera app, all of the settings return to default (my shortcuts have reverted to the default 'flash' and 'switch camera', and autocontrast is off, etc).
Has anyone else encountered this problem? If so, how do I fix it so it remembers my settings?
It seems to remember some things, like the grid and megapixel setting. But it forgets other ones, like autocontrast and my set shortcuts.

[Q] 'No Service' in pull down task manager

Hi all,
I have a question with the task manager pull down system menu in ICS. Basically, when I am connected to my providers network, the text at the bottom of the menu displays 'No Service', however when I connect to other networks, it displays their network name at the bottom of the screen.
Any idea as to why this is the case? Is this something defined in a config file?
Cheers

[Q] S3 Camera GPS tag option missing

I just starting having this weird issue.
The stock Camera App menu option to enable GPS Tag is missing.
I am running 4.3 and have my GPS enabled,
I've reset the camera menu to default, restarted the device, stop/started GPD, and force stopped the camera app from the settings.
Nothing.
Oddly, the GPS menu option is present in the Video mode, just not the photo mode.
Any ideas?

Bump... can anyone lend a clue?
