Is there any way of adding Google Talk to the Share Menu (SendTo)?
Any 3rd party apps that can extend gtalk functionality in this manner?
[If it makes a difference, I only want to share content with one specific recipient.]

Hello to everyone who is using IM app ChatON, whether on Samsung mobiles or others.
Was anyone able to find a way to clear all the shared pics, animated mssgs, vds etc etc that always stay in trunk and return back even when start a new chat, after deleting the old chat.
To explain in detail, when we chat with someone using ChatON and share some pics, vds or etc etc, which stay in trunk of that chat window do not have the option to delete them like in WatsApp. But when delete the chat, there is a pop up that says "All your messages with trunk will be deleted permanently" looks promising. But when we start a new chat with the same person whom we have recently shared pics, vds etc etc, all the trunk is restored. Does it mean all our shared data is stored in Samsung servers? (It does not sound very good if its true ) Then is there anyway to delete the trunk Permanently without anything being restored when we start a new chat.
I have posted this thread here because this particular app has increased the quality of the way we chat unlike in any other IM apps like watsapp, viber, tango, IMO, etc etc. Its fast and super eye candy. So just wanted to know if we have a solution for the problem I mentioned above. One should use it before commenting negative about this app . Tried to find any stored data of this app using Root Explorer, but could not find any and could not find any solution anywhere. But then, after complaining about this issue (this is a issue to me), and no reply from ChatON or Samsung even after 9 days, I have decided to take help from XDA.
Moderators and Senior members, please excuse me if this thread is irrelevant to XDA, and please delete the thread, if you wish so. I just wanted to know, how the app functions so that we could tweak it, in order to make it more secure.
Hello,
I am trying to build an android application that included a live video chat function. Users will log in, select the person they want to chat with and connect. Then once the call has finished they will be requested to complete a form providing feedback.
This is just one function of the app so I am worried about using these sites that provide the service of video chat as I would need to be able to incorporate it in to the app as appose to that being the only function of the app. In many ways the app will function a lot like skype in that all users will have a profile. But I would like the option of having ‘1 to many’ calls not just ‘1 to 1’.
I am a complete novice. Please could you advise me how I would go about creating this? What software to use to build my app (preferably free) what server system I would need to use etc.
I do hope you can help.
So, I am looking for a way to automatically add the date and time to contact entries that I enter on my phone. Whether this is by an app, or by some third party or something. My problem is, that I have a bunch of contacts, that I don't know when they were added or who they are (lots of long nights). While I am sure it may be hard or impossible to retroactively do this, I want to find a way to do this in the future.
I am not sure if this would be able to be done by an xposed module, (take the date and time and add it into the description field) or if there is a third party contact manager that would be able to automatically save to my Google account.
Does anyone know of something like this? Or any trusted third party contact managers that may be modular, or extensible.
Hi all,
There are a lot of apps out there like MightyText, AirDroid, or DesktopSMS that allow you to send SMS messages from your PC. The problem with these services is that all the TOSs show that messages could be saved on their server. They also give pretty universal permission control to the application. While I'm sure these apps are "safe," I'm looking for a self-hosted solution, where I can host a website that my SMS/MMS content is synchronized to, and allows me to send SMS/MMS from the web browser (or companion app).
Is there something out there that does this? If not, I'm going to look into developing it myself.
Thanks!
Platform
I'm a developer and I had to create something for one project of mine and in time it became a whole project by himself.
I've created a self-hosted SMS marketing platform that it's integrated with more than 150 SMS providers you can bring your own device if you require it.
Have a look at selfhostedsms.com
Hi, me & my friends lately were discussing to regulate the content on apps like instagram. Regulate in the sense a filtering algorithm to show me only the content i design it to. So thinking of the same we found out Instagram Pro & GB Whats being third party apps have access to data & communication between the original whatsapp & instagram. How exactly is that possible & how can i fit in a filter between & show only the content i want to in my app?
Please help & direct us on this.
