I have three Mate 2s and the picture in the front facing camera all look different. One has a very bright picture, the second phone has a normal picture and the third one is dark with slight blurriness. What gives?
Hi guys, I tried looking everywhere but I haven't beem able to find any info about whether or not the wide angle lens has any focus (autofocus) or even touch focus? Or is it fixed at infinity only, with no focus? Or maybe my camera is broken? For example if I put the main camera close to my leg and focus I can clearly see the hairs, but if I do that with the wide angle it is blurry (however things, far away seem clear). If I touch the screen while in wide angle mode the green focus square briefly appears, such as with the main camera, but it does not focus neither does it make the focusing sound.
Also the front camera has no touch focus or autofocus, right? This is driving me crazy, and would appreciate anu feedback so that I know if I should send my phone back for repairs or not. I heard that some G5 phones are suffering from hardware failures regarding the main camera focus, but I want to know if the wide angle supports focusing in the first place. Thanks guys, I really appreciate it!
H850, unlocked, unrooted, Nougat.
My wide angel & front cam are also without focus. They seems to be only fixfocus cams!

My front cam suddenly started acting wierd. When I take selfies with sky in the background, the sky area is intemsly over exposed and when I focus the sky, the subject and everything else turns completely dark. The exposure balancing is screwed up for some reason. It doesn't matter when you take photos, the sky appears like it is flashing intense light towards the camera making the subject less visible. Even if HDR mode is enabled, the issue persists. Is it a hardware problem or a software problem?
We can clearly see the problem when compared with the results from the rear cam which works finely.
hello, I noticed that the middle lens is useless, while in the screen I tested the 3 lenses by changing the mode.
Hello,
The second camera is the 50mm equivalent lens, aka the x2. It only works if there is enough light, else the phone just do a crop of the main camera. No way to force use the x2 on the mark I.
