Posted this in the other forums before there was an Tablet S-specific one.
Hopefully this will answer some questions and help those looking for a more in-depth review:

First what's the status of honeycomb coming to the flyer? What's your take on how Sense works? How do the native apps flow with regards to performance and productivity? For the price do you feel this is a solid 7 inch tab or an oversized phone that doesn't make calls? Honestly what's your overall take on the product?
Thanks guys and I'm looking forward to your input.
Peace and keep it up.
George

Completely wrong forum. This is for development and posting of ROMs, kernels, and similar tools. Why did you post this here? This should be in the "General" subforum. Are there are already several threads very similar to this, that will answer your questions.

I am a noob. Just got chewed out on another device forum right after I posted this. Sorry. Didn't quite understand the difference in where to put my posts. Won't happen again. Anyone feel free to close this thread.
Peace
In my readings, it has been mention several time that Viewsonic refer new gTablet owners to forum (my guess is XDA) for support. I think we could turn this into a positive thing.
The new gTablet newbie thread aims are:
1. Welcome the user to the community
2. Explain the benefit of rooting and custom roms. Include a link to gTablet for dummies to get them started.
3. Explain the issue with the Viewsonic (lack of support, dodgy referral here to void warranty etc..) and recruit them into our campaign.
It should be clean and simple so not to confuse or scare away newbie.
I'm fairly confident that the major gTablet forums (XDA, Slatedroid and maybe Tabletroms) capture the majority attention of gTablet owners who wish to do more with their device. With a concerted effort, we can turn these people to supporting our cause and give Viewsonic a real headache.
The problem lies in, where does the forum owners stand in this issue? Would they openly support our cause?
Mods. If this idea does not take up, could we at least have the Sticky guides display in order of difficulty/need? The first Sticky should always be a Newbie guide or FAQ.
Could u help me here.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1668938

Hi there everyone.i have already compile all recovery combo keys for all android from the first phone which is the g1 till the latest.i have posted all to my blog.i was wondering if i can link the blog from here.and whether will it contribute to the community..thanks for viewing and hope to hear your opinions
hope to hear opinion
hope to hear forumers opinion..thanks
Hi!
I'm not really experienced in here, neither did I found the rule which made it impossible to post link to your blog here, but I have a feeling that it tastes a bit like advertising your blog. In my opinion you could paste it IN the topic and add extra link to your blog at the bottom (like a source of info), if combo-page like this doesn't exist already.
But the truth is you can always ask moderator or somebody more experienced than me about this one
Hope I helped!
thanks for the comment

I know requests don't belong here, but I usually go to the development threads for tutorials and repositories on all things root and we don't have one.
Hopefully that can be done by some generous Ultra Soul!

I made one at the swedish forum but idk I don't have much free time nowadays. And coming from HTC, I noticed there isn't much talk in the SONY part of Swedroid.
Before I made one for HTC One X

I started a bit on the Z U but..as I said. SONY users on Swedroid are either shy or not that willing to discuss. Not just in the Z U part but in the SONY part of the forum in general. It's one reason I came to XDA.

I'll give it a thought if there's not anyone else out there who perhaps is already working on a guide
edit: a user started one right now :good:
Awesomely appreciated
