Does anyone know of a way to disable Auto Capitalization on the ThunderBolt? The setting is available in stock android but has been removed from Sense for some reason. Is there a file or setting in the root directory that can easily be removed/renamed? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hey guys,
I've been looking into the problem of HTC Sense lockscreen for a while, the best solution I found yet was No Lock. I'd much rather enjoy the lockscreen from Motorola Droids where they slide to unlock/silent mode.
Previously, I've tried to uninstall HTC Lockscreen from Manage Applications, and Quick System Info (eg. any other app manager). Operation not successful.
So I opened ES File manager and went to /system/app/ and found HtcLockScreen.apk . But I can't rename, delete, move, uninstall it from here either.
NOWW,
I was wondering if anyone else had located this HtcLockScreen.apk or any other LockScreen.apk , and if they could upload it so I could try to install that apk over my sense lockscreen. Has anyone tried this? Is this possible?
Thanks.

Hello,
i search for a way to disable the auto brightness in 2.3.3 stock.
I found this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=18404603&postcount=6
but the hw_config.sh is not in /etc it is in / and the line to edit is not in this file.
Has anyone a idea what file and line is to edit to disable it?
The LG G2x (P999) has had bad microphone volume forever in CyanogenMod. I found a way to edit the /sys/devices/platform/star_wm8994/data file in CM7, but it seems that this file is protected somehow in ICS/CM9. Does anyone know of a way to circumvent this security and edit the values in system files like this?
I can successfully edit and even delete the file, but it's refreshed with the original within seconds.
Does, anyone have the slightest idea on why we are not able to edit ALL of the android root files on 4.4? Im running CM11 but it has happened on others equally, I want to turn off the capacitive light touchkey lights via "sys/class/led/" but anytime I try to rewrite the files it tells me permission is denied. I can only edit "system" files after using the SELinuxMod app from the PlayStore and changing to "permissive" but no luck with "sys". This is TOTALLY STUPID! And Google STILL has the nerve to call Android "Open Source"!
Hello everybody! I need help really bad. I have downloaded the "C-Rom" for my T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S3 SGH T-999. There's an option in the Settings menu under Settings->Personalization called Themes. I want to remove this because I have no use for it and it crashes the GUI. Can somebody instruct me on how to properly remove it from my Settings menu or edit the Settings apk for me and upload it? I tried to do it myself by deleting strings from the Settings_Headers xml file but it was a failure. If anyone wants to attempt to help me I can provide the link and the location of this rom's Settings apk (since it's not in the "Apps" folder it's in the "Priv-apps" folder a little farther down).
