Hi,
I have problems to sync my birthdays from my gmail account. All contacts transfered to the phone with every information, but no birthday shows up at the calendar. The calendar is sync with the gmail account under more/calendar.
If I put an appointment into it, it shows on my other device. I have no problems with the old stock calendar Any suggestions ?

Hi,
When i try to sync with google contacts the contacts in the gmail account are loaded into phone.
But the contacts in my mobile are not showing up in gmail...
Can anyone help me out?
I have problems when i try to sync contacts form phone book with gmail account i receive next msg: "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly" i mention sync of calendar and gmail it's working fine. I use facebook sync with existing accounts too.

I have registered my Google Apps account on my LG P500.
This is the only account configured on the phone.
I have my contacts and mails synchronizing well with my phone, however my Calendar is just not synchronizing with the Phone.
I have upgraded the Phone to 2.2.2 and have done a factory re-set many number of times, however the Calendar is still not synchronizing with the Phone.
I at times see 2-3 Calendar entries synced with the Phone, but the complete Calendar is not Synchronizing with the Phone.
This same Google Apps account syncs well with my HTC Hero (2.1), including the Calendar.
Can someone please suggest a solution for this issue.
I almost want to throw the phone in the Bin.
PLEASE HELP.
Any chance you have multiple Google calendars and the phone is only syncing the main one?

I only have one Calendar.
What appz are you using for it? I have MyPhoneExplorer and it full functional.
this happens to me aswell
i used the defualt calendar app, and a few of my events dont get synced to the phone.

I am not using any Desktop app for synchronization.
The Google Sync on the phone should be able to sync my Calendar.

Have you tried making your events visible in the calendar settings?
It's strange, but I want to sync only calendar and contacts with my work account (Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync account).
In my old HTC Wildfire, under Settings-Account, I was able to choose what items I want to sync: calendar, contacts and/or email.
But with my new SGSII I can only choose calendar, contacts and task.
I can't tick or untick the email mark, it isn't.
It works well, syncing my email, but I don't know how to deactivate email sync and go on with calendar and contacts sync.
Does anybody know how to do this, is the diference the android version ? (if the cause is the version, what about ICS ?

This problem has been bothering me for a long time now.
I have an Exchange account with my school that I sync my email and contacts to my android phone with no problems. However, the school made a shared calendar for our class schedules that I added to my Exchange account (by adding the URL), but this calendar will not sync to my phone. If I create my own events in my personal calendar, that works fine and shows up, but the calendar that I added from the school will not. It shows up just fine on Outlook on the PC.
My current solution is to just add that calendar to my google account and sync it, but the problem with that is that our class schedules can sometimes change suddenly and gmail doesn't sync very often, which has led to some problems for me in the past. I would much rather have the direct syncing of the calendar to my phone instead of through google.
What makes it more aggravating is that my friend has no problem syncing the calendar with iOS, so I know it should be possible. I've tried using Touchdown but that has the same problem.

Sorry i can't help you but i have question . I saw you wrote your friend has no problem sync shared calendar on iOS. Can you tell me how he did that and do i need some kind of app. I'm trying to sync my shared calendar (Outlook 2010) to my friends iPhone, but iPhone only syncs his calendar when i create exchange activesync account on his iPhone. I'm having trouble syncing contacts, but calendar and email works fine. I have two other exchange accounts installed, and one of them is syncing calendar and the other one just email.
I have tried to remove all Exchange accounts on the phone, and re-installed first he main account witch won't sync contacts. At this point it works just fine. But after a while, it stops.
I have a bunch of other apps that access the contact list in case it can have anything to to with the problem:
I use Viber, Skype, WhatsApp, Facebook Cantact Sync from WeedNET, and several of the contacts are combined in the phone.
Can anyone help?
