How do enable boot animations in Da_Gs pre-rooted kernel?

So I used Da_G's pre rooted kernel to root my phone with Odin, installed CWM and moved on to the Holonote branch of Da_G's O'Clock kernel which removes Ghost Touch.
i have my custom animation file in system/media/ name sanim.zip I put it there by using File Expert with root permissions and mounting system/media with RW permissions.
when I boot I only get the default Android name showing on my screen, no animation.
It's behaving as if the kernel doesn't support custom boot animations, do I have to enable somehing to make this work??

[SOLVED] Data/System/etc not readable in File Manager under BMM

I just switched to CM 10.1.3 from stock 4.1.2 and found out that most directories (Data, System, etc...) are not readable in File Manager under BMM. File Manager shows 0 files for these directories.
This does not happen on stock 4.1.2. I'v also tried Safestrap 3.65, same thing.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Also, I tried to use my own boot animation, but phone won't boot, it stuck on black screen.
No matter where bootanimation is located, neither /system/media nor /data/local.
I figured out myself
1. manually mount system/data in mount option before using file manager
2. the bootanimation.zip should be archived as save/store without compression

phone freezing during boot with new animation

I've tried to change the boot animation on my android phone running sc7731g chipset, android 5.1 and it is rooted and usb debugging is not enabled before this accident.I can't open or access the android recovery menu,it's just spreadrum factory test and it's in chinese language
I copy and pasted the boot animation file using ES file explorer to system>media folder and there's already an bootanimation.zip there and i renamed it to bootanimation.zip.bak, then i pasted the bootanimation.zip file that i copied there and changed its permissions to:
read write execute
owner check check check
group check
other check
then i rebooted it.., after that i doesn't boot completely anymore it just freezes during boot
Is there any way i can fix this without flashing anything?
even adb and fastboot doesn't work it just says device unauthorized
and please confirm dialog box on your device
i really need help.,I've been researching for a week now...

Can't modify files in system WITH root

The title says it all I guess. ? I have a Moto Z2 Force with Lineage 16. My situation:
- Flashed successfully su add-on
- Flashed successfully Magisk (which confirms I have root with super su installed).
Every file manager I tried fails in delete, rename or modify any file in system/ . But I can see for all of them "xxx file manager has granted root super su permission"
Or they either are successful in, for example, rename the file but its a fake success cause I just have to refresh the folder or use another file manager and the file is intact, or it gives me immediately error...
The file, as well the folder itself, is already mounted in R / W.
Nobody...?
The problem have something to do with the selinux permission.
Use aroma file manager in TWRP or test magik core only mod in settings first.

Tweaking system file permissions via TWRP possible?

Is it possible to edit file permissions of voltage_max file located in sys/class/power_supply/battery via TWRP? In TWRP's File Manager I can only get to battery and no further. It's seemingly shown as a file instead of a folder.
And more importantly if its possible will the tweaked file permissions stick after booting into the ROM? I know with root access it's easy just wanted to know if via recovery it can be accomplished w/o root or not?
Thanks.
Bump.
Anyone?
