right now i havnt even tried out this rom. i dont even know if its works or not but i did my best. ONLY USE IF ITS ON A TEST PHONE OR YOU DONT CARE IF YOU BRICK OR DAMAGE YOUR X8
This is a mixture of about 3 different roms.
1.salsa- sense (gingerbread)
2.gingerdx v017
3.gingercruzt
JUST REMEMBER I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF I SCREWED YOUR PHONE I HAVE MENTIONED THAT IT IS PROPER UNSTABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Install through xrecovery. choose update zip and go down to choose zip and go down until you spot the rom (wilbreadso (beta) test) and click install/yes/ok

as Braidonh said, flash GApps (the v7.1 zip.) this zip includes the market and a few other google apps.

If you can find the "Downloads" section, which I'm sure you are able to, seeing as you said you have the ROM installed... then continue reading. It will say Misc Downloads (Unsupported by us). Under that heading is where you will find the GApps 7.1 package. This is as SIMPLE as I can make it without telling you to put your underwear on first. If you are unable to follow these SIMPLE directions, abandon all hope of flashing CM9, and wait until someone puts it in a food processor and feeds it to you like an infant.

Important Info
If you get stuck after reboot (At blue progressbar and dorimanx logo) enter odin mode and reflash pit AND a new recovery since the one you flashed before may end up in black screen ony! but i suggest to go back to your daily rom!

i'll give a link here when it's ready. At first i was planning to give the link as it is now but there's a few extra steps needed to boot it properly. till i sort those stuff i can't put phones at large risk of bricking

Hmm, i think u didn't understand me..
I follow all the tweats and updates about JB, and i think Kalgecin and the other dev's are doing a great job :good:..
The only thing i wanted to mention is that other dev's that were making threads and didn't upload the rom, the threads get closed..
Why would this thread stay open, there is nothing to discuss about this rom because it is not online/working..
So please make a thread with updates/eta and other stuff related to this rom in General Forum, And re-open this thread when the rom is finished and ready for the public/users..
I followed Mirko DDD's guide on how to enable AOSP lockscreen, so all credit goes to him.

We have finally recieved the official Jellybean update from LG along with an unlocked bootloader! Hooray!
Bugs:
- Headphones don't work
- No sound out and in while calling (echo at first calling)
- NFC is always ON can't turn off
- No options for things such as 'use GPU interface render' or something like that
- Home button doesn't show LOCK SCREEN when trying to turn on phone with button.
- No access to microsd when connected to PC
- Can't turn on DEBUG USB??

IMHO, Please dont mind, you are not the right person to post in "ORIGINAL DEVELOPEMENT" section. Markolino deserved it coz he is working on CM9 and CM10 codes. If you are just posting a link of aremcee's work in this section, this is not fair. If someone asks bugfixes and tweaks and changes in features, you will not be able to do it or recompile it or give any support. Posts in this section should be done with responsibilities. Tell me if I am wrong.

These days the forum administration is happening very professionally. they are reviewing threads and maintenance is done very fast. they will decide which thread should go where. I always opened my thread in General Section and on public demand, some went in dev section and some in troubleshoot section. I regularly ask admins to close my own threads which are useless and disturbing or confusing with other subjects.

It is possible to fix it in incomming releases? I don't really care about 1080p video recording, 720p is fine.
i used to experience this issue when i would use a rom that was from a different device variant (samsung t989 -> i577) these things happen. also is anyone else experienceing this probelm?

The file would be around 200-230 Mb max for the complete rom.

Tweaks havenot been done, neither i have tried to change anything in build.pro!
If confirmed, this is working, I would start with next step..
Basically I am going to go systematically step by step, it might take a bit of time.

The ROM and everything is right, I accidentally copied the wrong updater script in Meta-inf as I was looking into someone's ROM as well so they got mixed.
There's a safety feature added in updater script and thus, flashing would be aborted if the device does not match.
I am working on it and I'd hopefully give you good news soon.
I have borrowed the device as well so I'll test it myself before I release the ROM

- I have given back the device which I borrowed from my mate so nothing till I get it back. I am not sure when I can borrow again!
-I have managed to get some progress but I am still ending up in a bootloop. I need to check logs once I have the device again. He may or he may not give me the device again so let's see.
-there's no ETA. I have honestly lost the heart that over two days of very little sleep and hardwork has yielded nothing productive as I hoped.
-I shared the ROM with two testers but I managed to test myself and found problems with updater script which have been fixed but still bootloop.
- I am extremely busy and I need to look into schedule well ahead to give time to a particular project so I can't tell you what will happen to this project in future.
- I only develop/contribute to XDA as a hobby and I'm a doctor by profession so I hope you understand how less time I have for myself.
- please understand I am a human and I have a life and I'm not paid to work at XDA so its my choice how I progress with this!
I hope you can all understand and kindly DON'T pm me asking about this or anything at all.
However if you have anything productive/suggestions apart from this ROM, you are welcome!
