I really love the look of the Simple Calendar widget. Does anyone know of a Todo widget that looks like Simple Calendar? Ideally, I would really like a single widget that can display my Google calendar and tasks. I have tried them all but none look as good to me as Simple Calendar. Thank you.
I use funny notepad. Its difficult to find on market. So you would have to go to thier website and click on the market link from there to get it fast.

So i just upgraded from the original g1 to the samsung vibrant, and im missing the calendar widget from the g1. I couldn't find a widget that does the same as the g1 calendar widget. By this i mean it showed a rectangle that had my upcoming events from my gmail calendar on it. Could someone tell me of an app that does the same and/or does it better?
Thanks
Have you tried smooth calendar? That looks & works great!
i find that calendar pad is the best one, it sows the full month view and lists all upcoming birthdays and allows you a large variation of widget sizes
+1 for smooth calender

I know what you mean I miss the old calender widget too. But smooth is the best so far I have tried them all.
I was a blackberry user, and I found that Pure Calendar Widget looked the best to me. Reminds me of the old "Today" themes for Blackberry lol.
Hello, I would need an app similar to calendar go widget, but for using with adw launcher. Just a beautiful and minimal month calendar widget with google calendar integration If possible.
It could be similar to this, too: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1142072
I have looked for in market but didn't found what I want.. Any idea? Thanks!
Hi there, I use Jorte and find this a great calandar which syncs with google but looks nicer and has more functions. Jorte is available in the market

Have a look at "Business Calendar"
I will second the Business Calendar suggestion. Also, SBSH just release PocketBreeze for Android. It's not a calendar app, just the widget. You should have alook at it too.
mm yeah Bussines calendar seems pretty good
Jorte and that one are the favourites.
Thank u so much!
my favorite one
I think jorte is the best one!

Hi there!
I've posted this on i9100 forum, but didn't received any reply.
There are any calendar widget like this one from SPB Mobile Shell (see attached picture)?
Thanks!
PS.: sorry my bad English
Well, I don't know, if there is a widget, that looks exactly like this. (maybe try beautiful widgets (?))
that's the way I do it:
I use Go Launcher EX, which has a calendar widget which looks pretty nice. You can either use that twice (once for the calendar overview and once for your appointments) or, as I do, use the GO widget for the calendar overview and download Simple Calendar Widget, which is highly customizable and you can achieve a similar look to your screenshot.
Hope that helps
Hi everyone
I recently changed to touchwiz ux launcher, coming from launcherpro. I was wondering if there was any widget like the go calendar widget, meaning a scrollable month overview, a little mark on the days with an appointment, and possibility to click on the days to make/view an appointment then. Thanks in advance
I would suggest you take a look at Jorte Calender:

thanks, yeah i saw that but haven't really tried, but if i'm right that's a whole calendar app, so can this widget show the appointments of the stock app? or maybe if i sync with google in both apps... if anyone knows advice is still welcome, but i'll give that a try soon
just for the record, i've just found android pro widgets, it's calendar widget does exactly what i want, if anyone else has the same problem: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rdr.widgets.core

You can sync it with google to show the same appointments as the stock app. But android pro widgets is a good hint, looks promising. Maybe i can use it for myself.
thank you for this!! finally a go calendar like widget (better actually) that works at higher DPI resolutions !! (SIII at 240dpi)
I am currently an iphone 4s user that is tired of ios and its limitations. I am interested in switching to android. One thing that I would really love to have on my phone is a functional to-do list on my lockscreen that I could see every time that I look at my phone. Is this possible on android and do you have any recommendations any apps that can do this? Thank you.

U can use Widget Locker and took some todo widget on ur lockscreen.
You can look at Astrid, Any.Do, Taskos etc for todo widget.
And simply way u can choose this option as well using Simply Lockscreen
Here u can get:
- Simply Lockscreen: link
- Astrid link
- Taskos link
- Widget Locker link
I am usin the setup below..
I have Any.Do as my default task application.. I have replaced my lockscreen with the DashClok widget.. Any.do has a dash clock extension which can show your tasks right in the main lock screen.. Or you can create one more page in the lock screen and use the Any.Do widget directly there..
Thank you for your replies. I can't wait to get an android phone. Ios users could only dream of having this type of functionality. amith007, is there any way you could please show me what the any.do dashclock widget looks on your lockscreen? I tried looking for screen shots of what that would look like but I couldn't find any. Thanks.
Thanks.
PM me if u need help

In the first picture you can see that the Any.do icon showing the task pending task count.. and when i simply expand the widget, it will show the first task there itself.. and you can click there to open the Any.do app directly..
Thank you, very cool but a little too subtle for me. What jungjawa suggested is more in your face. Thank you all for your recommendations. Android really is the best option for me.
