AOSP roms - HTC EVO 3D

Alright, im sure this has been answered before, so I apologize for making a new topic....
But after watching the ice cream sandwhich presentation it really reminded me how much I enjoyed AOSP.
So what my question is; what's the news about getting an AOSP rom onto the evo3d
(Im not talking about ics btw)
I know cm7 is out, but it is still in alpha.
Miui(I know isn't aosp) doesn't have bluetooth car radio support.
Im not being impatient, im just wondering what's the hold up.

There probably won't be any stable AOSP ROMs until Cyanogenmod gets an official stable version. If you're looking for the most stable AOSP, I would go with Cyanogenmod. Alpha3 has no other bugs except for the ones listed.
They even have 3D video working!

Ah, gotcha. What exactly is the issue though?
Or is it just time needed?

Just time needed for development. A lot of the stuff is built into the Sense framework which makes it hard to bring those features to AOSP.

Who told you MIUI wasn't AOSP? MIUI is based off of CM7.

Can't the mod just close this thread. We have a bunch of asop roms. And threads like this just piss people off.
No Bluetooth car stereo support? Really? The end of the world is near!

Ya... Sounds pretty helpful and calm right now. Anyhow, I believe there are a few pure AOSP roms out there, but have not been updated since cyanogen has, so cm is your best guess right now.

I too am a big fan of AOSP even though Sense isn't nearly as unbearable as it used to be on lessee hardware. Good things come to those who wait though, the 3d is still pretty young and development should only get better from here.

Why no AOSP yet...

KNOWN ISSUES:
- bluetooth working! but car stereo mode is borked
- nextflix has a security issue
- wimax broken for now
- taking 3d images and video not working
- 3d pictures (mpo, jps, ect) do not display in 3d
- FFC takes pics upside down
AOSP is not as much of a NEED on this phone as it was on the 4G because the E3D is far faster and more capable. Also, the newest Sense is not nearly as bad, especially when tweaked (e.g., CleanROM).
For me, the kicker is that AOSP would have to support the 3d camera/screen. AOSP would not offer me advantages sufficient to sacrifice 3D (I know many people differ with me on that point though).
Compared with the Evo4G, the Evo3d has:
Smaller user base + more difficult features to deal with + more difficult unlock under 1.5 + better Sense implementation = less demand AND more difficult development
BTW, I hope I am wrong and CM7 for E3D comes out next week!

The only idiot here is the one who started this thread. I would tell I to just unroot your phone and go away but I am sure your to stupid to do it.
If you truely had an issue with asop, you should have just developed your own rom and stfu . This is a developer forum not a complainers forum.

Relax buddy, you seem all bent out of shape because of a thread posted in GENERAL section? It would have just been easier to be nice about it and direct him to the right links/threads. Don't know why people sometimes feel the need to bash people.
with that send, I would love to put CM7 on my phone but with the unveiling of ICS I feel development for cm7 might slow down due to the excitement of messing around with ICS (or I guess CM9).

Remember, whenever there are signs of CM stuff happening, it is always the day after when the CM stuff happens.
