--- There were lots of bug-fix requests that may/may-not be fixed by FRG83 update, please check and re-report if need be.
--- Also there were a lot of feature requests that did not make it into this build, as the FRG83 update was enough for me at present.

9/24/2010 - v2.12.3 - STABLE/RELEASE

- fixed - Reverted Gallery3D icon to stock icon in Themed Version (to avoid confusion when HTCAlbum is also installed)
- fixed - Removed the Camera from the ThemeTemplates *again*
--- NOTE: So there are new themetemplates, changes from v2.12.2 are only in SpareParts, Gmail, Twitter apk's
9/21/2010 - v2.12.2 - STABLE/RELEASE
- fixed - *really fix facebook, etc sync issues
NOTE: ThemeTemplates updated as well. Only SpareParts.apk & ContactsProvider.apk changed from 2.12.1.
9/20/2010 - v2.12.1-release (changelog from the prealpha version)
- added - HTCAlbum in spareparts, optional
NOTE: Anything todo with "Favorites" in the MOD causes FC's (is minor & b/c the field is missing in sqlite), everything else works very well
- added - HTCFlashlight in spareparts, optional (NOTE: only works well with the 720p kernels)
- added - new HTCCamera enhancements
--- Videos & Photos now saved to the Camera directory on the sdcard and ordered correctly
--- Smart album app selection, if HTCAlbum exists, the HTCCamera favors it, if not, it launches the stock Gallery3D
--- Modded the max KBits/s to 6000 for the camera at 720p
--- My own mock implementation of disableGcForExternalAlloc in the dvm
------ This was to allow the HTCCamera to control Garbage Collection on a per thread basis (performance)
- NOTE: Between the above mentioned mod's and the newer kernel, with good lighting, the HTCCamera is now getting 26-27 fps
---- At 8000Kbit/s it gets around 23-25 fps, I will make this optional in 2.13.x. For now, it's set at 6000Kbit/s

- updated - a few Gapps ... Twitter, Maps, GVoice and Goggles to the latest market versions
- updated - ChainsDD's Superuser app to the latest market version

- fixed - Goggles FC issue (now works with current market version)
- fixed - StageFright option in Spareparts is disabled for Toggle (and forced "checked") when HTCCamera is in use
- fixed - Some strangness with ext2/3/4 when installing kernels in a certain manner (ext3/4 did not mount and showed as ext2)
- fixed - Facebook Sync Issues - At least as much as the clunky app would allow
8/31/2010 - v2.12-prealpha-DUCK
--- THIS IS NOT A RELEASE like you're accustomed to from me usually
--- Some things have come up I must deal with, but wanted to get what I had out now
--- as I might not be able to get another update out for another week or so.
--- 2.11.3 is still posted, and is STABLE-RELEASE, this pre-alpha has just a few more things added to it!
--- There was a ton I stripped out, so I'm sure some will be disappointed with some features missing
--- that were previously promised. It was either release this (as is) or nothing for another week or so!
--- SO NANDROID BACKUP FIRST ... as I'll be tied up and unable to support this, like I normally would.
- added - HtcMusic (optional in spareparts)
- added - Audio DSPManager (optional in spareparts) (ty alankila and others in cmmod)
- added - kmobs' lockscreen music controls
- added - Wysie's statusbar text color/show options
--- note: restore is disabled/broken atm
- added - volume up/down long-press music skip (kmobs)
- added - HTCCamera now will "upgrade" if you have it installed (HtcMusic as well)
- updated - facebook to 1.3.2
- updated - su/Superuser to ChainsDD's latest, keys compat with market update now
- fixed - some strangness in LED blinkrate options :/
- fixed - HTCCamera strangeness with other apps, as well as some other resource issues :/
---- several things I just can't even remember right now
NOTE: There are no theme templates for this build, but themers can't work directly off the ROM files.
8/10/2010 - 2.11.3-STABLE/RELEASE
1) Fixed - MMS Picture size issues, they send/receive nicely now (no more 1kb size), for those that have the issue
2) Fixed - Phone unable to hang up bug (this was only in the prethemed version)
3) Fixed - added the wifi unicast mac addr bug patch to the wifi driver
4) Fixed - FC's in GoogleMaps (it was a theme-ing issue, so for now it's not themed at all)
5) Fixed - (*hopefully*) - Facebook issues (upgraded to 1.3.1), and fixed some xml theme incompats in the themed version
6) Fixed - (shrank) - the HTC framework down to the barebones necessary to function, the way it should be :/
---- This potentially will resolve several issues that are harder to diagnose, /system space limitations
7) Fixed - (kinda) - Unable to use flashlight LED "superBRIGHT" settings when using the 720p kernel
---- Was working on some ways to accomplish this, but deathRay just seemed cooler and was more likely to be adopted
---- by kernel and app dev's. Therefore deathray it is ...
---- This also means that in order to use a superbright setting in with a 720p kernel, you'll need to obtain
---- Cyanogen's deathRay Modded Torch App. I have compiled and posted a compatible one in POST #3. (ty cyanogen 4 that)
8) Fixed - (for clarity) - All TheOfficial kernel variants, are now given an identifiable name, there are (4) kernels
---- a) 2.6.32.16-TheOfficial-basemods - base TheOfficial kernel
---- b) 2.6.32.16-TheOfficial-AudioMOD - base TheOfficial kernel + pershoot's audio mods (This is included by default in the ROM)
---- c) 2.6.32.16-TheOfficial-720p - base TheOfficial kernel + 720p support
---- d) 2.6.32.16-TheOfficial-AudioMOD-720p - base TheOfficial kernel + audiomod's + 720p support (This one is bundled with the HTCCamera installer)
NOTE: SpareParts now show's you which kernel you're currently using, as well the ability to download TheOfficial kernels, that match the camera installed.
NOTE: You will have to reinstall the HTCCamera, either from POST #3 or SpareParts.
---- NOTE THEMERS: This bug revision is unfortunately a complete rebuild in some ways, you will need to obtain
---- the latest theme templates and redo all apk theme modifications. :/ (sorry 'bout that, but was necessary)
8/5/2010 - v2.11.2 - (the lunch hour bug fix!)
- fixed - the liboemcamera.so (thanx to cyanogen for the quick response on that)
- fixed/updated - some gapps, gmail, twitter, facebook, maps, googlevoice (so they are theme-able)
- fixed - in pre-themed version, now facebook and twitter are themed
- fixed - auto-completion bug in Android Keyboard
- fixed - issue with swype (and others)
PLEASE NOTE: After flashing, you'll notice the HTCCamera is gone (if you had it installed previously)
------------------- Just reinstall from SpareParts ..OR.. POST #3 (DirectDownload), .........
-------------------there is no need to apply a "kernel" after the HTCCamera installation, unless you want the NoAudioMOD!
-------------------(kernel is included with HTCCamera install)
THEMERS NOTE: The ThemeTemplates were updated again as well, but only the following apk's were changed from 2.11.1 (so you don't have to start over) ...
---- system/app_store/LatinIME.orig.apk
---- system/app/Gmail.apk
---- system/app/Maps.apk
---- system/app/SpareParts.apk
---- system/app/Twitter.apk
---- system/app/googlevoice.apk
8/5/2010 - v2.11.1
- added - trackball succession (100% optional w/out side-effects in spareparts)
--- been using it for literally days ... didn't notice battery drain or wierd wake behaviour
--- you be the judge, it's optional (if disabled ... is completely like stock operation, only 1 color notif)
- added - several more LED color options as well as a custom color picker
--- DO NOTE: That the custom color chosen will not always appear properly, HW limitation
------------ I've tried to add as many color options that were easily distinguishable to the naked eye
- added - IM app is back
--- also added an IM LED option in spareparts for notifs
- added - HTCCamera is back (ported this from the froyodesire)
--- is 720p capable ... enable in spareparts, it must be downloaded/flashes in recovery automatically
--- you can always restore the original camera, also a download in spareparts
PLEASE NOTE: If you use a different kernel (not mine) ... and you have the HTCCamera ... make sure it supports 720p
---[For the 720p kernel port from desire] - Would like to thank charansingh and cyanogen.
WARNING: Some have reported problems downloading the HTCCamera while using clockworkmod recovery.
--------- See POST #3 for direct download links and reboot into clockworkmod recovery manually to install update.zip!
- added - downloadable Kernel options in SpareParts
--- Use this to obtain my enom-kernel with or without the pershoot audio mod's
--- If you're using the HTCCamera, only 720p kernel options are available and vice versa
- added - jstarkley's Render effects (ty to jstarkley and cyan for the implementation, kmobs for some cool color-opts )
- added - option to disable StageFright player in spareparts (it's a live toggle, so you can switch easily)
- added - option to disable built-in CPU controls in spareparts
--- So you can easily use SetCPU or a userinit.sh script style of CPU scaling/frequency control
- updated - the HTC framework to froyo 2.2 from desire build
- fixed - wmv/wma support
- fixed - spelling errors in spareparts :/
- fixed - Calendar & Market LED's not functioning
- fixed - Certain app LED failures, they were using a different method (like Touchdown)
- fixed - LED App PassThrough setting, where some apps could not use LED notif's when set to "Application Set" in spareparts
- fixed - implemented yahoo and exchange fixes in the e-mail app
- fixed - HTCRingTonePicker FC, it works now
- fixed - bug where dismiss button was disabled on alarmclock, even though unchecked in spareparts
- removed - kernel links from the OP ... use the built-in spareparts downloader ... it's safer.
THEMERS NOTE!!: ThemeTemplates fully updated ... almost everyapp has changed ...
--------------- Also note that Camera.apk is missing from the templates, this is b/c of the HTCCamera option.
--------------- It is recommended you not theme the camera app ... and if you do ... specific which camera is included.
7/23/2010 - v2.10.2
-- Just a Bug Revision
-- fixed - some kernel fup's
-- readded tun module *sigh*again* ... (should fix vpn app failures)
-- fixed 270 & 90 degree disabled settings in spareparts not sticking
-- fixed disappearing HTC_IME setting once installed in spareparts
-- Manup456 put some new images into the pre-themed version, ty
NOTE: ThemeTemplates were updated again ... but only SpareParts has changed since 2.10.1
----------- So you don't need to redo everything, only SpareParts
ALSO NOTE: The version number in SpareParts will still reflect 2.10.1. This is a mistake and can be safely ignored.
7/19/2010 - v2.10.1
- added - Stk
- added - Trackball Unlock feature, enable in SpareParts
- added - Trackball LED DefaultColor option
- added - Trackball LED BlinkRate option
- added - new LED color arch & filled in all built-in app LED color options
--- added - Automatic detection of User-Installed Apps using LED notifications
----------- Once an app attempts to use a LED notif, it gets automatically populated to SpareParts
----------- afterwhich the user can configure the LED color of choice
- added - execution of /system/etc/init.d/ scripts on boot (run-parts)
---- This enables certain community MOD's - like random boot animations custom user-init-scripts, etc.
- added - "About TheOfficial ROM" section to spareparts, with credits, etc.
- fixed - statusbar drop-down - now has translucent background support *again* :/ (ty koush 4 that)
- fixed - kinda/sorta - Goggles, use built-in for now, so don't install from market (thx2 Mikey1022 for pointing it out)
- removed - IM app completely, it's broken :/
- removed - launcher settings from spareparts, ... between ADW & LPro on the Market, what else could you want?
NOTE: New ThemeTemplates - themes need to be updated with latest templates
7/13/2010 - v2.9.3
--- NOTE: Just a bug-revision update, had a few hours to look into these issues today.
- fixed - (perhaps) .. reduced kernel/boot.img size by a bunch, should solve the WRITE error on boot.img in recovery when flashing
- fixed - Facebook Sync issues
- fixed - Initial Google Sign-In Hang
- fixed - failed installation of talkback on upgrade
- fixed - FLAC audio support
7/9/2010 - v2.9.2
- Updated to AOSP-FRF91-2.2r1.1
- Attempted to bring in as many features as I could in short time from 1.9.2
- Would like to especially thank all of the CyanogenMod contributors (some collectively referred to as teamdouche)
---- for their efforts, commitment and work involving their android AOSP modifications, we all appreciate it guys, tyvm
- added - 90 degree orientation settings - ty to Jonasl for the newer/cleaner patch
- added - option to Toggle the Native Froyo AOSP based Apps2SD apk installation location
--- In SpareParts, in Data Storage Options
- added - Official Twitter app to Built-In-App options
- updated - the Contacts, MMS and Phone Community MOD's from cyanogenMOD github --- again, really appreciate this work guys
- updated - kernel to 2.6.32.16 (mostly aosp src'd)
- updated - the HTC_IME to jonasl's v27 for Froyo version, ty
- updated - the FLAC support, big ups to cyanogen and kroot for this effort (I may have botched it sum :/)
- removed - CorpCal (no longer needed)
- removed - HTCCamera from HTC App Options, there is no working alternative that I know of yet.
- removed - custom Launcher settings for now, check ADWLauncher (ty AnderWebs) in the Market for a very-nice alternative
- removed - the "Disable OTA Update Notifications" feature, so you will recieve OTA notifications for now, if there are any
---- This is b/c it appears 'G' has bound this functionality into GoogleServicesFramework, which can't be removed for other reasons
- removed - wmv/wma support, just not enough time to mess with it, may-or-maynot be possible
- removed - the wifi/wired tether apps (as there's a native alternative now)
--- NOTE: This doesn't uninstall them if you have them previously installed. Uninstall in Settings->Apps->Manage.
-------------- All other 1.9.2 features made it in this release ----------------
QUICK RELEASE INSTALLATION NOTES:
--- This is a little bit of a pre-mature release guys, but wanted to get something out to you, b/c I will be tied up till mid-
--- next week. There may be some unforseen quirks, SO MAKE SURE YOU DO YOUR NANDROID BACKUP 1st~~~!!!
----- Also, make sure you update your radio to the 4.06.00.12_7, or you'll have camera, video and other issues.
UPGRADING from v1.x.x--
--- - If you're upgrading from 1.x.x of TheOfficial, please make sure you uninstall HelixLauncher first, it's broken anyways.
----- And lastly, you will need to launch SpareParts once before your custom settings will be upgraded for LED's and such.
----- If you used the HTC_IME, you will notice it's uninstalled on firstboot (this is intentional, just reinstall it from SpareParts)
FRESH-INSTALL
--- - If you're performing a fresh install, please note that you'll want to skip through SetupWizard on first boot.
----- Then attempt to sign into the Market and setup your Google Account that way. I haven't had time to isolate this
----- issue, but it's an easy work around. For some reason the initial SetupWizard hangs after attempting to sign-in, so skip it.
COMING-FROM-ANY-OTHER-ROM
--- - WIPE!!! (YES WIPE) ... and then proceed as fresh install.
5/16/2010 - v1.9.2
- fixed - 3MP bug in stock camera, it now has 5MP option.
PLEASE NOTE: If you tried the HTCCamera as a result of lack of 5MP on stock.
PLEASE uncheck the HTC Camera in SpareParts, this reinstalls the stock camera. Then upgrade to 1.9.2.
.......... This will ensure everything gels properly.
Last NOTE: v1.9.1 Theme templates are still valid, and the resulting theme metamorphs are as well.

sweeeeet!
Thanks for this....I'm in love with my N1!
May i ask what exactly does this do? I dont want to chance messing up my phone so please shade some life on the noob..
it does what it says it does in the OP. Its basically an addon to the stock android OS rom that enables several new features such as internet tethering.
Flashed this over the cyanogen image. No problems so far. Did it mainly for the recboot.
is that multitouch add for the browser on the N1
Can't wait to get an N1. If I can resist an HD2 when I have cash/my 2yrs is up.

Woohoo, Enom has already made it to the N1 side!!! Love your ROMS! Been using them on both my G1 and MT3G. Now, it'll be the N1! Sorry, didn't mean to waste space, just wanted to say looking forward to what you can do with the N1 after using your ROMs on the other 2! Thanks Enom
Thanks man great work, wireless tether is running like a champ and I have a poor signal!
never tried using dropbear on an android device...after installing your expansion i can't connect to it via ssh. does it come already good-to-go or is there some tutorial/steps i need to take to start the ssh daemon?
ps. great work, thanks a million.

Unless I'm mistaken, this means that the hardware will recognise multiple touches but none of the apps will know what to do with that information. Are there any multi touch apps on the market we could install, just to confirm this is installed and working?
When I go to use wireless tether, the su request comes up, but it's black...anyone else?
Color me confused... I've been using multitouch since the day I got this phone using the dolphin browser/b&b gallery. How exactly does this change the existing multitouch support in the phone?
yo enom!!
Yo bro! I just got my nexusone and am lovin it. Really happy tosee you devin it! Sweet man!

Yea,
What grandt said. You'll need USB Debugging turned on in settings-> development to get the initial su GUI request screen to appear. Once "always allow" is selected for that app, USB Debugging can be turned off again.

Enom!!!
So so glad you joined the nexus team!!!
Cause you know I love your roms...

A
Alarm
• How can I disable alarm icon?
You can enable/disable alarm icon in statusbar in Clock > Settings.
You can enable/disable next alarm information on cLock widget in RootBox Settings > cLock > Clock and alarm.
B
Battery
• How can I save my battery? (Without flashing anything or undervolt kernel)
You can check all apps/functions which sync in background like GPS, Wlan or Social accounts (If not needed = disable)
Set the Brightness down (Settings > Display > Brightness)
Use dark (best black) theme & wallpaper & lockscreenwallpaper
C
cLock & Clock
• How can I place cLock on lockscreen?
Look into Lockscreen section below.
• Where do I configure cLock?
RootBox Settings > cLock. There you can configure Clock + Weather + Calendar settings. Note that all these settings apply to both homescreen and lockscreen cLock widget.
• How can I change color of cLock / Clock widget?
As first, it is important to note, that there are two different widgets with the same digital clock layout:
Digital clock is classic digital clock widget in a new design. It is configured by Settings of the Clock app. There you can beside other settings change color of clock / date / alarm and it will apply to the widget.
cLock is brand new CM widget combining digital clock in a new design, weather forecast and calendar events. It is configured in RootBox Settings > cLock where you change font colors.
• The localization and weather isn't working
Uninstall cClock and install in again from here.
D
DPI
• How can I customize DPI?
For now there is no overall system DPI change possibility, so that u have to use the 'Settings > Hybrid settings'.
Here you should choose the stock PA-settings and then swipe to the right - this should open the PA-menu on the left.
Now choose ‘Interface’ and set at all dpi-regulators on your DPI you want to have.
Most apps also get this configuration, but some like Phone, Calculator or Chrome, have to been set manually.
That for change from ‘Interface’ to ‘Apps’ and choose the same DPI for all bright apps you can see at the top.
If you did this, you should have overall the same DPI.
If u want to have different DPI’s per app, just run free in the ‘Apps’-section.
• My device isn’t supported in playstore after changing DPI
You have to use the MultiDPI-Playstore here from URL="http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=4534385"] “MyLifeRocks10”
=> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1839871
Data
• I can't find the Data toggle!?
It's renamed to "signal".
E
Expanded Desktop
• Can I use Expanded desktop on this ROM?
Yes. Enable it in RootBox Settings and switch it on or off in Power menu.
F
FC (any app)
• After update or some system changes (e.g. DPI change), my app XY is ending with FC (Forced Close) repeatidly.
Anytime you have some app ending with FC, try:
Settings > Apps > ALL > XY and click Clear data and try the app again.
Reboot to recovery > advanced > fix permissions > reboot and try the app again.
Reboot to recovery > wipe cache and advanced > wipe dalvik cache + after reboot repeat step 1 and try the app again.
Try FULL WIPE installation of the ROM.

-- select gapps.zip and flash it
Recovery > wipe cache partition
Recovery > advanced > wipe dalvik cache
Reboot and you are done!
G
GAPPS
• Do I have to flash GAPPS with ROM?
Generally musst have the Gapps package!
But u only have to flash it once, because since v4.0 (also some nightlies before), the backup function got enabled.
This will save the Gapps, so that a “dirty update*” with new Rom.zip is enough.
*If u don’t know what this means, check ‘Option 1’ under the point F->Flashing (without step 4 here)
• What version of GAPPS should I download?
It's always recommended to use the newest Gapps
Latest Gapps you also can find here:
♦Dev-Host♦
♦AndroidFileHost♦
But you also can have a look on the unofficial Gapps from BaNkS!, which gives you different versions.

H
HALO
How to configure HALO?
There are three places where you configure HALO behavior:
1. Settings > RootBox Settings > HALO Settings where you configure basic HALO Notifications behavior
2. Settings > Apps > [Any App options] where you enable / disable concrete app Blacklist / Whitelist entry
3. Paranoid Android HALO))) App from Play Store where you configure apps for persistent notifications in so called floating mode.
What are options in Settings > RootBox Settings > HALO Settings?
- HALO policy allows you to choose between Blacklist (default) or Whitelist policy. In Blacklist mode are notifications from all app ON by default and you can explicitly configure some of them not to show HALO notifications by entering them to Blacklist. In Whitelist mode are notifications from all app OFF by default and you can explicitly configure some of them to show HALO notifications by entering them to Whitelist.
- Hide HALO after activity (disabled by default) allows you (if enabled) to hide HALO circle shortly after notification appears.
- Reverse HALO gestures changes behavior of dragging / tapping on HALO circle. Better to play with it or watch some youtube videos than describe this... Basics are: If enabled (default), then dragging is for tasking and double-tap swipe allows you to position circle or delete / deactivate it. If disabled, functions are reversed.
How to Blacklist / Whitelist apps?
Go to Settings > Apps > [Any App options] and there right under "Show notifications" checkbox you find either "Blacklist HALO notifications" or "Whitelist HALO notifications" according to policy set in HALO policy options.
What can I do using Paranoid Android HALO))) App?
Add some apps like Email, Gmail, Messaging, etc. using "+" button, press ">" button and you will see... You will have persistent notification in floating mode for those chosen apps. Try to drag HALO circle and you will get it.
How can I disable / deactivate HALO? (I don't want to see the circle on my screen)
Depending on your "Reverse HALO gestures" option:
- If enabled (default), then try quickly double-tap & swipe the circle. By this you will be able to position the circle or deactivate it by moving it to "trash".
- If disabled, then you can directly drag the circle. By this you will be able to position the circle or deactivate it by moving it to "trash".
How can I enable it again?
When HALO is deactivated, you can see special button in upper line of Notification drawer, that will activate it.
How can I uninstall HALO completely?
You can't. It is integral part of the ROM. You can only choose not to use it.
What if I cannot install .apk?
Wait for the next Nightly/Stable build. This will be solved. If you can't wait, then disable HALO, install what you need and enable it again.
Where can I find further information?
Take a look at this video by Oode.
I
Incremental download/update
• What is the incremental download
This download allows all devices on the the direct lower version (for example the nightly 20130301) to update only the new and necessary files from newest nightly (for example the 20130302). This means a smaller file, a faster download and a faster flash!
This is anyway an experimental feature, which isn't available for all updates and can still bring some bugs with it!
• How I do the incremental update
That for you have to look at the 'settings > update manager', search the newest nightly and check the point directly below the “normal” download. (it is only shown if u are on the directly below version!)
Download and flash it. (File is smaller than from "normal" download)
L
Lockscreen
• How do I get shortcuts/targets on my lockscreen?
RootBox Settings > Lockscreen Shortcuts or RootBox Settings > Lockscreen Shortcuts/Targets.
• How do I put cLock on my lockscreen instead of standard clock?
You have to drag clock on lockscreen. It will allow you to remove it. Then you can add cLock or any other widget instead. Note that cLock has only one setting that applies to homescreen and lockscreen.
• How do I make cLock show my Weather and Calendar on lockscreen?
Rom Control > Lockscreen > Minimize Lockscreen Challenge.
• How do I unlock faster when Minimize Lockscreen Challenge is enabled?
Rom Control > Lockscreen > Enable longpress to unlock.
N
NavBar
• How do I change NavBar Color?
Rom Control > Navigation Bar > Navigation Bar color.
• How do I enable NavBar transparency?
Rom Control > General UI > Transparency settings. See this post from descarao81 if you have problems with transparency using Nova or Apex Launcher.
Nightlies
• What is Nightly? Should I flash Nightly or latest Stable version?
There is no major difference. Nightlies are builds which are built almost “every day” for everyone to try the latest sources/features merged to RootBox.
For all users who don’t want to flash “every day” and want have less bugs as possible, please just use the stable releases.
P
Pie
• How do I enable Pie?
You activate it via “settings>RootBox settings>Pie controls”
• How do I change the Color of Pie?
Settings > Hybrid settings > Interface.
• How make I Pie open faster
Just set ‘quick’ in “settings>RootBox>Pie controls>Pie style”
S
Statusbar
• How do I enable Statusbar transparency?
Rom Control > General UI > Transparency settings. See this post from descarao81 if you have problems with transparency using Nova or Apex Launcher.
• How do I change the Statusbar behaviour?
Rom Control > General UI > Statusbar behaviour.
Here u have different options if/how the statusbar is/becomes visible for you.
• What means the fast toggle for the Statusbar Toggles?
This will allow you to swipe from the right or left side of your statusbar (depending on what you choose) and it will go to your quick settings bypassing any notifications.
• Everytime after reboot I got a “Low Storage” Message!?
It’s a problem which appears when the app ‘Viber’ is installed. Just move ‘Viber’ to sd card.
That for go to “settings>apps>Viber”
U
USB
• I’m not able to connect my device as Mass-Storage to PC
Try deleting data from media storage. That for go to “settings>apps>all>media storage”

♦ Known issues ♦
In general, RootBox has AOKP issues as it is based on AOKP and some CM issues as it uses some features from CM and CM kernel as well. This list is not complete list of AOKP / CM / RootBox issues. It is a list of known issues that are discussed by RootBox users within development threads or support thread.
GPS locking problems [workaround: try this] - reported on 20130422 and confirmed on current builds / not all users are hit by this issue (maybe it is location specific are other way random occurring issue)
SMS gestures not working properly - always only 1st gesture works, multiple gestures not working [no workaround] - confirmed on latest Nightlies
Sound disturbances, mostly dropouts using BT headset or BT car kit [no workaround] - confirmed on 3.9.1 & 4.x & latest Nightlies / not all users are hit by this issue
Some users report freezes and other issues when playing games [no confirmed workaround known / setup with Dorimanx is working for some users] - not confirmed / not easy to reproduce / no relevant logs so far
Bluetooth DSP Manager settings not working (Speaker and Headset are OK) [workaround: use Speaker settings, it also influence Bluetooth audio output]- confirmed on 3.8 and further
When ending call via Bluetooth, phone freezes for several (about 3 - 5) seconds [workaround: be patient, it is really only 3 - 5 sec.] - confirmed on 3.9 and further
Custom ringtone setting can randomly disappear [workaround: put ringtone into /system/media/audio/ringtones (thanks to Computoncio for the tip)] - confirmed on 3.9.1 / issue status unknown for latest Nightlies
Developer Options > Simulate secondary display will cause boot loop [workaround: reflash the ROM or reset the option in database (thanks to Mr.H-DK for the tip)] - confirmed on 3.8

♦ Kernel corner ♦
Stock kernel
RootBox uses CM kernel from CyanogenMod as a stock kernel. This kernel is very stable and battery friendly and stock kernel is always recommended mainly for users that do not have special demands. Please, remember that RootBox is multi-device ROM and it needs multi-device kernel. Creator of this ROM even do not own S2 and he cannot support alternative kernels for this device in any way. Therefore stock kernel is only kernel with the official support from Bajee11.
Download
Thanks to hawkerpaul’s knowledge is Hannibal226 providing stock kernels for selected builds here and here.
Non-Stock kernels
There are many RootBox users with S2 devices using non-stock kernels. Most popular and compatible are Dorimanx, KangBang and Siyah kernels.
Dorimanx
Dorimanx kernel is developed by Dorimanx (note that he is also RootBox user)
For current RootBox builds use 9.X branch
Changelogs, download links and other important info on development thread OP
Support, Q&A, discussion on non-development thread (Please, consider to ask there for support, if you have really kernel specific questions or issues, like STweaks, OC/UV, BLN, cron, etc.)
KangBang
KangBang is the kernet for AOSP based 4.2 ROMs.
It is based on CyanogenMod smdk4412 kernel, i.e. it is based on current stock kernel for i9100 & n7000.
It is modded to provide more schedulers, governors, BLN and other features.
It is available with CWM or TWRP recovery.
Siyah
Genuine Siyah kernel is developed by Elite developer gokhanmoral. There is also non-development thread for Siyah. This original version of Siyah is currently not compatible with current RootBox releases, as gokhanmoral is working on other things according to his priorities.
Siyah v4/5 patched with vsync + mali available here: [Kernel][JellyBean] ♦ Siyah vsync v4/5 ♦ [Mali patched][gokhanmoral,mcm811,Rush85]
Siyah v6 with MALI v2 r3p1 available here: [KERNEL][CM10.1][08/04] Siyah v6.0b5 with Maliv2/r3p1 video drivers

Hey, anyone is using swiftkey and having also the problem that the keyboard i just usuable with 160dpi? I changed android system to 200, but can't use swiftkey because not all letters are visible (and with 160dpi it's really small...). Stock keyboard is okay, but when i longpress a letter not all options are visible (when i longpress . then i can't see the ? for example). Tried nearly all dpi/resolution with swiftkey, but can't get it to be visible without changing dpi to 160...
(Just a suggestion: maybe someone is posting some screenshots and which apps he changed in per-app settings, because i guess there will be many question like "how to make it look like dual panel; what is a good dpi and resolution for lockscreen" etc.)

I had the same problem. So far only way I know how to cope with it is not to change System UI DPI in Per-App settings. Instead I changed my overall system DPI to 200 and I am tuning DPI for some special apps then. See Help-Index for details on changing DPI.
Here are the tiny issues ive encountered with latest nightly. (these might have been reported before, if so i am very sorry i havent kept track of this rom since the 4.2.1 updates)
1. Cant send MMS (this is probably normal cause i cannot modify APNs)
2. Cannot disable vibration on pattern unlock
3. Cannot use shortcuts with pattern unlock like in 3.2
4. My clock/weather lockscreen widget is too big (see picture)
5. I cannot manage to have status bar completly transparent when im on desktop, it is only fully transparent when im in lockscreen. Maybe due to Nova Launcher?

1. Yep APN, this seems to be the reason then.
2. I don't have any vibration on pattern lock. Do u have the pattern visible? (test to make it unvisble then)
3. Feature not implemented yet.
4. Seems to be the pattern block. Scroll it down (so that it's not shown) and the clock etc should be completely visible.
5. Tested and same here. With using a theme and Stock theme. So seems to be a small bug. Thanks for report.

No prob for me with 220 dpi.
So try to wipe data off SwiftKey (settings > apps > all) after u changed the dpi and Reboot once.

thanks for you help.
1. Thanks for confirmation
2. My pattern is unvisible, also tried visible, i still have vibration even if the box is unchecked =(
3. Thanks
4. Clock is fine when i bring down the pattern but on version 3.5 it would show correctly without having to bring the pattern down =( Its as if the weather fonts got bigger in the new version and i see the top of the weather widget. Before i wouldnt see remainings of the weather, i would see the time and the pattern. If i wanted to see the weather widget i would bring down the pattern.
5. No problemo, glad to see im not the only one =) I updated my post, the bar is completly transparent only on lockscreen but changes to blueish on desktop

2. Did u check already all lockscreen settings?
4. Yep it's not an optimal solution. I'll check this later on and maybe there is something u can do or maybe not so that we've to wait what bajee says.

EDIT:
For me it's working fine on 220 dpi -Screenshot (only calendar entries aren't to see without scroll down the pattern).
So maybe u check the dpi settings once so that we can see if it's related to this.

2. Did u check already all lockscreen settings?
4. Yep it's not an optimal solution. I'll check this later on and maybe there is something u can do or maybe not so that we've to wait what bajee says.
CHEERS
EDIT:
For me it's working fine on 220 dpi -Screenshot (only calendar entries aren't to see without scroll down the pattern).
So maybe u check the dpi settings once so that we can see if it's related to this.

2. I did take a look at every option possible for lockscreen, what i find weird is that the Advanced options in security become greyed out when i choose Pattern unlock, they only become available if i select slide to unlock =(
4. Ill try and tweak the DPI but im not a huge fan about changing DPI =S I was afraid it would be the only option
Thanks again!

Tried it, no chance. You changed systemui and android-system to 220 in per-app settings or just swiftkey... ?
Even when i change dpi with texdroider to 200, i can't change swiftkey or stock keyboard back to 240 with per-app settings without getting the problems again. Whatever, it's not the biggest problem, was just used to change everything as i wanted with PA without having such problems.

You are not referring to this, are you? If yes, as I posted down the video the solution is: press home button and the installed launchers will appear to be chosen, choose Nova (Apex or whatecer) after clicking "Always".
I'm in the latest nightly (20130125) and my status bar is 100% transparent using Nova.

Just a suggestion: maybe someone is posting some screenshots and which apps he changed in per-app settings, because i guess there will be many question like "how to make it look like dual panel; what is a good dpi and resolution for lockscreen" etc

My usual setting when I change with "per-app" is DPI=180, resolution 800x1024, Tablet. Letters are maybe a bit small but I think it's the best aspect.

So I'm using Nova as standard and it's NOT 100% transparent.
And the request of standard browser only appears if u didn't set a standard one til yet, install a new launcher or wipe data of launcher.
So u want to tell us to delete data of launcher?

Hey everyone - me again, resident no-one-in-particular. Much like my previous forays into "projects"... I'm finally getting to where I feel good about posting this little mess - and it only took 4 months! Clearly I am still lacking a bit in the speed department, but hopefully folks enjoy what I've managed to muster together so far. This was originally based on the stock UVUDNF1 T-Mobile TouchWiz 4.4.2 and is now based on the stock UVUDNF9 4.4.2 base - the most recent official update at the time of writing this post... In other words - this is a stock modified T-Mobile rom! As I already mentioned this took quite a while to put together as a number of my tinkerings had to be more or less reworked from scratch (stemming from tinkerings on other devices and changes between 4.3 and 4.4.2 - and even between 4.4.2 builds), but on the upside I'm pretty happy with how things have turned out.
It should be noted that I still consider this a work in progress, so even though there are a number of things that I still want to include - at the time of writing this post I feel enough is done to warrant it actually being posted. That way others (assuming others give it a shot) can let me know if things don't work or if any oddities come up. Also feel free to comment on how this might improve, if I've gone about anything in a not-so-smart way, or if there is anything you would like to see (or wish wasn't there) - I can't promise I'll do anything about it, but such requests keep me motivated and learning, and thats been the driving force behind my tinkering since it began really
I AM IN NO WAY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS (GOOD OR BAD) AS A RESULT OF FLASHING OR ATTEMPTING TO FLASH WHAT IS POSTED HERE!
In an attempt to keep things clear and concise, see below for links to posts containing various bits of should-be-read info on what this is all about.
PLEASE NOTE: Make sure to THANK @RErick because without him the deep sleep issues that result from a disconnect between the ATT 4.4.2 kernel and the NF9/NF4/NF1 /system base would still be with us - BUT THAT IS NO LONGER THE CASE! As of Tweaked 3.9 all fixes are now included in the main install - and thanks again to RErick for the hard work on solving the deep sleep woes!

KRYON THEME
FOR THE GALAXY NOTE 3 on ATT & TMO RUNNING TWEAKED NF1 KITKAT ROM O N L Y
KRYON THEME is a new theme that digs a little deeper into your Touchwiz ROM's DNA. Its not just image work, but expanding into the smallest things and exploring/exposing new ideas that will make Touchwiz become almost a new UI feel. With KRYON THEMEs, I wanted to merge that edgy taste with a bit of class, to the Touchwiz experience while driving that happy feel and sleek look through out. As an avid AOSP lover, I simply love the Note 3 and all its glory, just not the hideous look of stock TW. KRYON THEME hopes to make you smile
These versions are IN BETA RELEASE and consists of the Main Structures-Framework, SecSettings, SecContacts, SecPhone, SystemUi, S5-Mms, Calculator, Job Manager, MultiWindowTray, MusicPlayerWT, Camera and Clock of course there is more to come. Just getting started...

TWRP/Safestrap Installation instructions:
While this rom does offer some customizable options at install - THE CUSTOMIZATION PROCESS IS NOT QUITE THE SAME AS OTHER ROMS!!
What does this mean? Well, if you want to tailor your installation using some of the available options, you'll have to read up on how to do so.
Wut?!? I have to read then!?! NOO!!!!
LOL - well like I said you really don't HAVE to read about this, it's only if you want to customize things outside of the default setup. If you don't want to customize anything, then simply flash the main TweakedN3 zip and be on your way. NOTE:Info on default and custom install options can be found in the installation instructions zip!
So you want to customize the install? Sounds good - and read on.
This was an idea that I started using over on the Note2 (though I've changed what I consider "default" a bit), and given the lack of aroma capabilities while using safestrap it at least offers an approach that lets users customize things a bit. Another advantage (for those that like customizing a bit at install anyway) is that after an initial step - future re-flashes of the rom will always utilize the same selections (assuming you don't delete some files in a particular directory of course). This should be a boon to those that enjoy flashing this and that, as the process of reinstalling this will now be tailored to what you want. NOTE: Unless you use the default approach you will most likely need to edit/redo this process for each update to make sure all new/edited options are up-to-date! This isn't excessively relevant yet, but it will be soon enough I imagine.
A complete explanation of the customizable-install approach can be found in this post, but for the sake of brevity and simplicity I am going to focus on the approach most fitting to the general (or new-to-flashing) user.
Before getting into that though, remember that the usual rules still apply:
- While very much stable in my experience you should be cautious whenever you flash. Make sure to wipe data/factory reset to avoid issues.
- I highly recommend wiping data before getting started with any of this. This is just a recommendation - not a requirement - though if you have issues that is almost always one of the first recommended fixes.
- I also recommend you already be on the 4.4.2 update, as this is a 4.4.2 rom and I imagine requires (or if nothing else works best with) a 4.4.2 kernel
- Tweaked needs to be flashed in a custom recovery - and thanks to the hardwork of @Hashcode this can be done via his Safestrap that can be found here. Make sure to THANK HIM for this, as none of this would be possible without his work!
THE SUPER SIMPLE SAFE APPROACH
Well the super simplest of all approaches would be to just flash the main install zip. For those that tried any of the 4.4.2 alpha/beta zips discussed here the result will be very similar to what was experienced with those. For those that would like to tailor the install a bit, you'll need to check out this post for instructions. Basically there is a directory you need to place on your internal or external sd card, and inside that directory are files that can be edited to reflect the particulars you would like to be installed.
Below is what I would consider the general fits-whatever-install-approach-you-chose installation instructions:
THE GENERAL APPROACH
- Backup your current setup/data
- Decide which install route (default/custom) is best for you
- Download the main installer and put it on your internal/external sdcard
- If you decided on the custom install route
--- Download relevant zip for said approach
--- Extract directory inside zip and place it on internal/external sdcard as instructed
--- Edit install.prop and anything else required to reflect your install choices
- Boot into safestrap recovery thanks to Hashcode
- Recommended to wipe data/factory reset
- Select and install the main Tweaked rom .zip you put on your sdcard

How to custom install Tweaked
So you've decided to customize the install a bit eh? Good to hear.
NOTE: For this approach please be aware that the process will likely need to be redone with new versions to make sure you have access to all available options!
I will try to keep changes to these files minimal, but changes are inevitable, so make sure to stay up-to-date with the version you are flashing, as otherise you will likely get the default install!
ALSO - with this custom install approach you can place the TweakedInstall directory on either the internal or external sdcard. That being said, in general if you have a TweakedInstall directory on BOTH your external AND internal sdcard, the files in the external sdcard directory will be chosen over those in the internal sdcard directory. Furthermore - it is VERY important that you DO NOT RENAME ANY OF THE FILES OR THE DIRECTORY! If you do you will likely get a default install when flashing the main installer (not the worst thing of course).
----- CUSTOM -----
This approach requires changes you will have to do, and therefore needs a little reading and preparing ahead of time. In order to help things along, I've put together a zip file (see downloads post here) with instructions and needed files - make sure to read the... well, the README! The contents of that readme file are below:
--- From the READMEFIRST-INSTRUCTIONS.txt in the ATTInstallInfo.zip file ---
####################################
# HOW TO CUSTOM INSTALL ON ATT: #
####################################
### NOTE: THE INSTALL.PROP EDITING DESCRIBED HERE ###
### NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO FLASHING THE ROM! ###
1) Decide if you will be editing text files on the computer or the phone
- regardless of where you do this, the result must go in a specific directory on your internal/external sdcard (see below)
- if you use a computer to edit, make sure it uses the Unix-style end-of-line character (you can use Notepad++ on a PC)
- Not all text editors work as you need them to if doing this on the phone - I have only tried it using the built-in text editor in Root Explorer
######## THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT AND A SOURCE FOR SIMPLE MISTAKES - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! ########
2) Extract the TweakedInstall folder (either on PC or extract it to the ROOT of your sdcard - internal OR external)
- Inside are five files - the main one of interest for installing is install.prop
3) Open install.prop using a text editor and read the instructions
- it is on this file you select options
- this is similar in idea to how aroma works
- ALL you are doing with this is changing the numbers that come after the = signs
- DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING ELSE! ONLY NUMBERS!
- Follow the instructions for what each number means for each choice
4) Complete any other OPTIONAL file edits per how you want to install
OPTIONS INCLUDE (these are for the more advanced users around - THEY ARE NOT NEEDED AND CAN BE IGNORED):
- If you opted to further debloat beyond available options and have set dangertweak to = 1
- edit the applist file with the apk name that you want removed
- ONE APK PER LINE
- see baseapplist.txt for a list of apk names that are included on /system as "default"
- If you opted to keep some pre-existing system files and have set savelist to = 1
- edit the savelist file with the full path to the file you want saved
- so for example if you wanted to save a script file called 02ForExample that was in the init.d folder, you would enter
/system/etc/init.d/02ForExample
into the savelist file
- ONE PATH PER LINE
5) Make sure the directory along with your newly-edited files are moved to your sdcard if not already
### IMPORTANT: THIS DIRECTORY HAS TO BE AT THE ROOT OF YOUR SDCARD (INTERNAL OR EXTERNAL)!! ###
### IMPORTANT: THE NAME OF THIS DIRECTORY MUST NOT CHANGE!! ###
### IMPORTANT: YOU ARE DOING THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!! ###
6) Boot into recovery and flash the Tweaked rom zip
TAKE HOME:
The edited install.prop file (and optional ones related to it) being kept in the TweakedInstall directory on your sdcard will make it so you won't need to do any choosing the next time you want to flash the main installer. You can always come back to or reflash Tweaked exactly how you have set it up with no extra effort!
#########################################
# HOW TO USE MODIFICATINATOR ON ATT: #
#########################################
### NOTE: THE MODIFY.PROP EDITING DESCRIBED HERE IS ###
### TO BE DONE WHEN WANTING TO MAKE CHANGES AFTER ###
### THE ROM HAS BEEN INSTALLED! THE EDITS NEEDS TO BE ###
### COMPLETED PRIOR TO FLASHING THE MODIFICATINATOR! ###
Ok, let's say you've installed the rom and made a few custom selections, or regret not making some in hindsight. You can - without reflashing the entire rom - just go through and install/uninstall the particular thing you want to change using the modificatinator zip. BUT - it also requires you to do edits SIMILAR (but NOT IDENTICAL) to those you made to the install.prop, however in this case you will be using the modify.prop file. If you followed the above instructions for preparing a custom install, the modify.prop will be in the same directory as your install.prop.
1) Decide if you will be editing the modify.prop on the computer or the phone
- regardless of where you do this, the result must go in the same specific directory on your internal/external sdcard that the other files mentioned above are in
- if you use a computer to edit, make sure it uses the Unix-style end-of-line character (you can use Notepad++ on a PC)
- Not all text editors work as you need them to if doing this on the phone - I have only tried it using the built-in text editor in Root Explorer
2) Open modify.prop using a text editor and read the instructions
- it is on this file you select options
- this is similar in idea to how aroma works
- ALL you are doing with this is changing the numbers that come after the = signs
- DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING ELSE! ONLY NUMBERS!
- Follow the instructions for what each number means for each choice. PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT THE NUMBERS MEAN!
4) Move the edited modify.prop to the proper directory (same one the install.prop is in) if not already
6) Boot into recovery and flash the modificatinator zip
TAKE HOME:
The edited modify.prop being kept in the TweakedInstall directory on your sdcard will need to be edited every time you want to use the modificatinator zip.
### WHEN EDITING TO MAKE A SELECTION MAKE SURE THAT ANY OPTIONS YOU HAD PREVIOUSLY SELECTED HAVE BEEN EDITED BACK TO "NO CHANGE" VALUES AS WELL!!! ###
--- End READMEFIRST-INSTRUCTIONS.txt -
The hope is that these instructions are as simple but as thorough as possible for those wanting to embark on the custom approach.
FAQ
Q: What the hell is TSMParts (new option in Settings menu)?
A: An interface for a huge slew of mods and tweaks, the base of which was originally put together by the original members of TSM and has since been inspired by impressive works of numerous others - the TSM Parts interface acts as a control for all of the customizable fun available. There are a large number of options there - so make sure to check them all out!
Q: TSMParts is asking for superuser access?!?
A: Yep - there are some options that will need it, so make sure you grant it!
Q: I'm having overlap issues with statusbar icons and center clock - what should I do?
A: Yeah - things may overlap, so you will have to either change settings to avoid the issue or just deal with it.
Q: I set a statusbar icon to hide, but it's still there. What gives?
A: The statusbar icon tweaks may require a little effort on your part for changes to take effect. All changes can be elicited with a reboot/hotboot, BUT for most there are other ways:
-- Bluetooth/vibrate-silent/alarm icons/ime/nfc/wificalling -- just change their state (on/off or vibrate/sound, etc)
-- No sim -- if the notification is already active you will need to reboot/hotboot to hide it
-- smart "eye" icon -- changes will happen once the eye triggers
Q: How is battery life on this rom?
A: This is a stock modified rom. As such, battery life will be equivalent to stock were you to be running a similar array of apps and kernel - it really should be no different than stock otherwise (which imo is not half bad really). The kernel and misbehaving 3rd party apps have more to do with battery life than a modified stock rom - at least in my opinion (and experience, though it's limited).
Q: So tethering is a common topic... can it be done with this?
A: To be honest I am unsure as to how tethering will behave using AT&T as the carrier... there was an annoying upsell message that TMo folks would get that I tried to set up to avoid, but in theory tethering SHOULD work on this. I will update this once it has been confirmed by a few folks
Q: Why isn't the accurate data icon mod working!!?!
A: The only time that mod shows an effect is when you are on the T-Mobile or ATT network - I don't believe other networks will see a change in data icon behavior.
Q: What is this LMT thing? How do you use it?
A: You need to check out noname81's thread here for info on that!
Q: Why can't I toggle off/on the security settings for exchange-based emails using the stock email client?
A: Mostly because I haven't been able to figure out how to do it. As long as you set it up to how you want PRIOR to setting up the account, AND you don't change the setting later - you should be fine.
Q: Why is it that when I swap the settings UI type the settings icon itself seems to move in the app drawer?
A: The toggling of the two UI types make the SecSettings package "appear" different to the system, so it's location in the app drawer may change after toggling depending on the launcher and settings used. This is normal and of no concern.
Q: I have an N9005 - can I flash this?
A: Thankfully the N9005 can pretty much flash any N900T rom, but there can be issues with things like wifi/bluetooth/nfc. Thanks to some due diligence searching of @galaningenieros and his pointing to the good work of @cdmvirt here, you can fix it right up by flashing the files found in this post!
Q: I'm getting a force close when I try toggling N3/S5 in TSMParts > Statusbar options... WHY YOU MAKE ME BREAK MY PHONE?!?!!
A: This has been an odd one, but it appears as if the blame resides within a few xposed modules. In particular, the iOS battery module and wanam have both been implicated. I will try to come up with a way around it, but if you uninstall these modules your toggling experiences should improve.
Q: I flashed this in safestrap and either used an old install.prop or none at all - why did I get an AT&T install?!?
A: I did this on purpose - I made it so when flashing it assumes that if you are using the default install.prop and in safestrap that you want an ATT-ified install (assumes you have an N900A and ATT as a service provider). If this is NOT the case - you can override this by updating or setting up a current install.prop
Q: Why don't you mention blah blah blah in your FAQ? It would have helped me a lot!
A: My bad - PM me anything you think should be added to this that would be helpful for the general user base!
Miscellaneous Notes:
- REMEMBER - Regardless of what install approach you use you can always use the Modificatinator to un/re/do virtually ANY of the options available to you in the main install! No need to reflash the whole rom!
Even if you don't use it right away, make sure to GRAB THE MODIFICATINATOR HERE NOW so you have it if you want it later!!
- Updates that come after the initial release MAY also have a flash-update-only option - whether or not it does just depends on the specifics of the update. NOTE: Depending on what is updated, an update-only flashable may break things if you are themed! I will try to avoid this as much as possible, but all it takes is a minor edit to a framework-res.apk string (for example) to necessitate an overwriting of a file typically quite important for themers (resources.arsc) - just be mindful of this please
- This is still pretty much an unthemed rom - so if any would like to change this PLEASE let me know (a themer I am not!). This is reflective of the thinking behind the whole setup as being nothing more than stock with some extra options. On that note - for those that like flashing various mods and what not, be wary - unless it specifies that it was made to work with Tweaked it likely will not.
- If you are unable to grab a logcat of a force close/issue, there is a directory on your phone that may contain files I can use in a similar way.
/data/log/ is the directory, and the files that offer tidbits and clues as to what the issue was start with the name "dumpstate_". If you send those to me along with an explanation of what went wrong, I will be much quicker to figuring out (and hopefully resolving) the issue!

No need to use the custom install if you don't want to customize the install beyond the default - you can just flash it.
Is there a better way to portray that in the OP(s)? That is definitely the feeling I wanted to convey, and not surprisingly it seems I fell a bit short of the mark

Was been a bit cautious that's all, at first it sounded mandatory (myable BC I've been working all night) I installed it with material L theme and boy is it smooth, I might have to return my G3 now. Thank you!
Awesome thank you! Can't wait to download and flash this beast! Wallys themes are sick.
@dwitherell,
Thanks so much for giving us another ROM option for our ATT Note 3. Install went without issue. I had an issue with data, but added an apn from here and now have data. Had an issue with wifi passwords being remembered after a reboot, but applied fix from @Walter.White ...."Change the following line in build.prop:- ro.securestorage.support=true to false" and wifi passwords seems to be sticking after reboot.
I'll let you know if I see anything else. Once again...thanks very much.

Nice
I'm curious - are you seeing the wifi calling toggle? It almost seems like you didn't get the ATT stuff in the install process - and that should have included ATT apns and an ATT build.prop with that securestorage edit. Let me know

Change APP locale (language) via adb shell or Terminal?

Hello. Is it possible to change an app's language via adb shell, and persist even after reboot? Yes, the device is rooted. If so, let's say as an example, the app identifies as my.app: how would the command look like?
Currently LineageOS 18.1 (Android 11) and LineageOS 17.1 (Android 10).
It would even be fine if some helper module/ service/ binary needs to be installed for that.
Because changing an app's locale with a simple terminaI command is not possible in current Android, I again settled for the [..]posed module WeiJu, after the dev ikws4/ Devin just privately updated it for me for compatibility w/ Android 11 and LSPosed (but I also verified the new WeiJu 0.3.8 working all the way down to Android 7.1.1 + legacy XPosed). Devin wrote to me via email that he wants to keep WeiJu's github repo closed because he needs to focus on other things right now, but is fine with me sharing the updated version here on XDA. You find it attached.
Open the spoiler to see all of WeiJu's features (like hiding status and navigation bar aka "immersive mode") apart from changing app locales.

- Model modification
