I generally look at the custom ROM post, and remove what they did. UnNamed had a pretty extensive list in the OP.

Word. I just jumped from CM7 to UnNamed. Enjoying it so far, but I haven't removed any "system apps" yet.
@Alucard - dude. I'm like, 20 min away from Miramar lol!

Ok... I'll bite. First we need a working CM, than someone who want to work on MIUI for the s2, it will take time in any case. Don't ask for ETA's, just enjoy your phone without MIUI for now. It took almost a year for the SGS1 and it is still not 100% stable, expect something similar (perhaps a bit better/faster) for this phone.
Next time use search, I think I have already seen a thread like this coming by before.

well, you could wait longer than an hour for someone to come by and explain it....or you could do what a normal person would do. spend your time googling and browsing xda. there are TONS of tutorials. it doesnt have to be GS2 specific......

This is an older guide based on Samsung froyo roms by Mikeymike01 that he posted in the captivate forum. This isn't a step by step guide. It will however give you an idea of part of the process.

You are gonna have to wait, thats not for our ATT Notes.
The closest we will get to ICS is CM9 and thats what I am waiting for. IMHO CM9>SAMSUNG ICS
This is the n7000 leak that happened a couple months ago...
2nd link even says "41 days ago"
Way to get our hopes up.

I know i'll wait. But i'm sure right now the Developers are just waiting for the kernel and the S-Pen package then we are all set which should be in there
This is for the N7000 and i9220 not our rom. The S-pen sdk ha been out for a few weeks use this to get to it http://galaxynotespenchallenge.com/

FINALLY. Reset the flash counter WITHOUT A JIG! No more stupid triangle at boot! =) - WITH AN APP BY CHAINFIRE.
Found this over on the I9100 forums... works great on our device as long as you're running an ICS 4.0+ build. CM9 included.
DO NOT ATTEMPT IF YOU'RE RUNNING GINGERBREAD BASED ROMS - YOU RISK A TOTAL BRICK!!!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1494114
The app is called "Triangle Away" and is available on the Play Store for $2... or for free on the XDA page linked above.
(apparently this was already posted a few weeks back... I searched... Oh wells.)
Have you tested this yourself?

Absolutely. I took the plunge. I'm running CM9 latest nightly, with the UCLC2 baseband, and whatever Kernel comes with CM9...
It also says on the Play Store page that our device (SGH-I777) is in fact supported.
Worked like a charm.
