Hi friends this is my first post for tab i am a power user in sensation but came across a very interesting article here so tried the same thing on tab..and boom it works well.
hope u'll like it....if u do jst click thnx ooh and do bk up first...Thnx to pimpmaneaton for his hardwork to put this together..
Steps
1. Download the fontchanger (free) from market.
2. Run app first time and this will install a .fontchanger file onto the root of your storage.
3. Unzip this file and move it to the tab.
4. Now open root explorer you will see the .fontchanger folder inside it is backup folder, delete it and move the backup (unzipped file) in that same place.
5. Reboot tab.
6. open fontchanger and play with two strings
(a) DROIDSans-Bold.ttf (to change headers).
(b) Droidsans.ttf (to change all other fonts).
7. Caution u may need to boot device again if u get stuck on boot animation.

why not try once same app changes my fonts on my sensation..dhd etc also..and its damm charm....
I very fond of what I do.
But if you really want me to try this as a test, I will.
I don't have any issues with the stock font anyway.
The ubuntu font its terrific, I use it on my phone. Haven't had a problem with default font but I will try it. I'll post screenshots in a minute

You don't install it actually...
Go to the application and Theme section propc has made a tutorial about it
I think you should post it in the themes and apps section, not here
Can you make on orange one? I tried but something was wrong...

How would i go about fixing it?

Are you using FontChanger? If not try that and make sure you use bold and not bold formats.

No i did not use font changer. I used estrongs root options to overwrite the default font in system.

Instructions:
Download the file from above (Phonesky.apk) to your SD card.
In Root Explorer, find the file you just downloaded and copy it.
Move into /system/app and hit the R/W button to mount – then paste the file.
Find Vending.apk and rename it to something like Vending.apk1.
Long press on Phonesky.apk and rename it to Vending.apk.
Afterwards, long press on it again and choose “Permissions.”
Change the permissions to this: rw-r--r--
Press “OK”, reboot and enjoy the new market.

Same here. It loads and searches fine, but on any download it keeps FC'ing. Had to go back to prior version.
Btw, I'm running CM7.
I wonder if you have to re-select your language like a lot of people had to do with FC's after first installing CM7.

Haven't tried with .368. Try it, just make a cwm backup in case boot loop occurs. Please report in case it works.

I'll have to install CWM first before trying it out
i thought the transparent PowerAmp widget is included(which IMO has different fonts than mine), and the icons too...

You can get the transparent widget, it's a 4x1, remove album art and set background to lowest. The font,i got it from rom toolbox, I extracted it. Of course you have to set yours depending on your taste. Also the title says battery mod, bobo.

If u have a back up of stock or any zip file of a rom which has original fonts ..
Do this
In the zip file search for a folder called fonts and extract it
Its usually located in \system\here

Now copy that extracted fonts folder and paste it in \system\here on ur phone using root explorer
Do not merge the existing folder ... delete it and place the original fonts
now long tap on fonts u just pasted and set permission as shown in pic
Now reboot your phone and ur old fonts will be restored
If u do not have original fonts ... go to the theme in my sign and download the theme there u will find Ubuntu fonts... try it its good
I'm using the same fonts in ss posted above
Or u might as well try the whole theme
