Low volume after root - Atrix 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does the output volume go lower after you root your phone? I used the one click root and now my volume seems lower. Is this normal or just me?
Thanks.

I can't see rooting causing that....did you do anything else?

I just rooted it and followed the guide to enable tethering. Maybe it's my headphones or my ears. ;-)

What ROM are you using? Cm7 has settings for this.

Any way to play music through the back speaker AND the headset?

The phone I had before the SGS2 was the Atrix. The Atrix isn't half as awesome as this phone, but one area where it actually does beat the S2 is in audio through the speakers. The main reason is because it played through the back speaker and the headset that you normally hear calls through. This meant you could lay the device on either side and still be able to hear your music (unlike the S2 which has to be lying face down) and it was also much louder.
Is there a mod or app or something that allows music (and other media) to be played through both speakers?
Thanks!

Hey i am a relatively new member here, so what does bump mean.
So confused

It means "raising this thread to the top of the unread threads with a new post."
Technically it means "bring up my post", which makes the initials "bump".

What I mean is the volume seems to be low at the Max setting.

I figured it wasn't that easy.
I've been running that Rom some this weekend and noticed the same thing. I think it's something gw had to fix.

Tw or aosp if Tw go to novella ROM there is a volume zip you replace that will increase overall sound of phone or try voodoo sound with supported kernels you need to be more specific if what you want is help or guidance or what have you...
