I tried that, didn't work either.
Edit, I moved it from the external SD card to the internal one and was able to install it.

From the apk
I hadn't had an issue with installing mine. Perhaps try clearing data (of the market app).
I actually just installed it roughly 10 minutes ago with no issues. I'd suggest restarting your phone and trying again as well as clearing market data to see if that resolves any issues. Have you changed any build.prop information or anything? Also, are you under wifi or using your mobile data? Sometimes if the data connection isn't stable it can cause download issues.
No problems here.
One thing to note - if you installed SetCPU from the APK on XDA, you will NOT be able to update it via the Market, as the Market is unaware of the "Free for XDA users" aspect of this app.
I have seen the error that you had with downloading before, and it occurred when I had another "Free for XDA members" app installed (BetterBatteryStats) and tried to update it via Market.

Anyone else have this issue? To install the new market I had to use my system app remover, and I wonder if that's what went wrong. I have the AT&T 2.3.4 rom and am (obviously) rooted, unlocked bootloader, yada yada yada...
When I click an app or game it will go through the screens until I hit "Install" and then pops up this:
{

Any suggestions? Or does anyone have an APK of the original market I can install? I think it was listed as vending or android.vending or something like that.
(Note to self: back things up before removing them = )
Once I backup my market i will post link. backing up now.
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=WTRCI35D
Its the vending.apk should revert you back to working market
try if dont work let me know.
Just use the app manager to uninstall the update. That's what I did to get back to the old version.

Thanks, market looks like old one, but now I get force close more frequently, after clicking pretty much anything. Like as soon as I click "Games" at the top I have force close now. I must have removed something important when I uninstalled the old market... I don't use the market enough to really care that it's gone though, and any app that I find there I could just sideload I guess. If it bothers me enough I'll just re-flash. Thanks for the help guys.
flash 2.3.4 system.img via fastboot just the system should fix it
I had to do that once or twice
Thanks I'll try that right now, just backing up all my apps and stuff. I'll try just flashing system, and then won't restore the market app when I restore backups if it works. I'll post back results in case this happens to anyone else.
Update: Flashing just system worked like a charm, still have all my apps and all too! Thanks for the suggestion Xenocyde!
I can't install any apk even if it has been downloaded from market.

Try pushing the .apk file to /system/app (requires root and a root explorer app).
This may work, but it will replace a similar app if you have one e.g. the gallery app.
Do you happen to use the Screen Filter app?
I vaguely remember reading somewhere someone had an issue installing apps while this app was active.
Just go to settings>applications>then tick on allow installation of non market apps...and you are done...cheers

Yes that was the problem indeed thank a lot I spent whole night on this. Thought of wiping the data and so many other things. Anyhow it should be reported to developers.

HI there.
So I wanted to create a new account on a game but the game keep remembering me so I can't create a new account.
Basically I been playing Valkyrie Crusade and I want to start all over. When I install/reinstall the game, it auto logs in with my account. Even when I did factory reset(erase data on SD card also) on my phone, it still auto logs in with my account so I can't create a new account. I factory reset, download game from app store, install app and game still recognize this phone's account.
So yeah, just wondering if there's a way to completely resets it
Thanks for the help.
I used to get this error it's not necessary about the space left on the sd card. Perhaps you had installed a cracked version.
Try using a different Google account?

I tried that approach already. It doesn't work. And I didn't install a crack copy.
I'd imagine its linked to your imei number then.

In UK it's very illegal!
I've just had another thought though...
Have you tried changing your android device id? You can do this in titanium backup.

I tried to istall a theme from a miui website by puting the .mtz file in my sdcard but I couldn't do it I'm not sure but I believe you can only install themes through the themes app in the rom.So I guess you have to look for the same theme within this app.
Edit: I saw this same post on the rom thread and like I said there, you are not connected to wifi and your data connection is very poor.

Not possible as far as I know, they changed their policy regarding themes. You need to download them from the market, otherwise you will receive an authorization error.
I read in the forums there is still a way to manually apply themes without the app but I currently do not know how.
I made a zip to that installs S Health all its dependencies so that after reboot, the app will work even after you've set up your profile. It successfully installed it for me, but I need someone on MDK who has never had or uninstalled S Health to test and see If it restores S Health and its dependencies. You can test if Sensor service is restored by making sure walking mate detects your steps (see image below)
You can download the S Health restore zip here
Edit: Forgot instructions
1. Make a back up
2. Flash zip in recovey
3. Wipe cache/dalvik
4. Reboot

Making a trip to Singapore and intend on walking quite a bit. I have the app, but can uninstall and try your method to see if it works. Won't be until this weekend though.
