Launch the mail app, hit menu and choose delete. Then you can select multiple messages.

I use GO Sms and I like it.
I have tried Go Contact because of your advice.
It does not remove duplicate phone numbers just doesn't show them.
And Go Contact hasn't call history funcion.

I tried messaging app with a longer text message and it converts it to MMS. How do I disable this one? Can't seem to find it under messaging settings.

This +1
Can't figure this one out. I think its as soon as the text become over 3 text lengths worth it converts to MMS.
I hope we could find a way in solving this. I'm not really used in abbreviating words that's why my messages would reach more than 3sms.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace which recently went on Gingerbread.
Now, I have been trying to set up my Yahoo email on the phone. If I go to "Email"; I get an option to only download emails from Inbox, Drafts and Sent Items.
I have created a lot of folders in the email account so I'd like to have those on the phone as well. How do I do that.
I would rather prefer not using the Yahoo Mail App as that is very slow.
Anyone?
Is there any way I can have the entire Yahoo Email (along with folder I have created) on the phone or would I have to install the Yahoo Mail app?

Update: it seems that POP mail won't sync folders, where as IMAP mails do. Try setting up the mail as IMAP. Try this:

Hope that helped.

Thanks! Setting up as IMAP did the trick.
The link you have mentioned doesn't work; I found one that works but can't post it (haven't completed 10 posts).

Why does my mms keep going to my gmail? Does anyone know how to change it to go to my text messaging? Thanks

Details would help, are you using a stock rom or custom, stock messaging or third party, are you using Google voice, if so did you select full integration?
I'm using tranquility ics stock messaging
Sent from my EVO using xda app-developers app
Well I was hoping you would say Google voice, they forward mms to Gmail. I don't know what could cause it other then maybe having mms forward to Gmail from your account address. Last I checked sprint was getting rid of the personal account address for picture mail though

Did you look in general settings in messaging app? There a setting there to forward to emails or another number.
I've never noticed that, right there in general settings, good to know
Yes I have google voice. I selected full integration. Is that why mms is coming in to gmail ?

check your settings on google voice, check the native messaging app as well just to make sure that one isn't fowarding them. If you still can't, just go to gmail and create a folder for mms and tell gmail to route all the mms to that folder and it should kill any email notifications
