anytime i sent an email using my gt 10.1, it creates a "sent" label.
How do i change that setting? I know with outlook or thunderbird you uncheck "save sent mail", but as far as i know there is no such setting for the gmail app.
I thought google would build their app so that it works flawlessly with their own products. I would expect a competitor to have such an issue

I have two e-mail addresses, both with comcast. I've added both to the atrix but can only seem to access one of them. The only way for me to switch in the e-mail app is to change the default mail client (which is really annoying). Does anyone know how to select the e-mail accounts without having to change the default, exit the app and come back in?
Thanks
For some reason Motorola decided to be special, what you need to do is actually click on the messaging app. There you will see both your accounts and can fully access them. The email app will only give you the email account that you set as default. Hope it helps. Cheers.

Hi there, i am trying to add a hotmail account to my galaxy tab and when i use the automatic setup all i get is ms exchange and i dont want that i already have another hotmail account that i have added before and it worked well ot added a normal pop account, now i tried to copy the settings for the ingoing and the outgoing server and use them, but it always gives me 'could not connect to server' when setting the outgoing mail. Any thoughts why it is doing that? I just want to have a normal pop account just like the other hotmail that i have.
P.s: i know that there is a hotmail app but i dont like it and id really like to use the phones email.
Thanks!

Hi
I have a HTC One where I am using the Gmail app for my private gmail account and the native HTC mail app for my work mail.
The work mail is set up with iMap, but the problem is that it isn't syncing sent messages with other devices. If I send an email from my HTC, it will only appear in the sent folder on the phone, but not in the sent folder in Outlook in my laptop. I had the same problem in Outlook, but in Outlook it was possible to define which folder sent messages should be saved in, thus making them available on all devices.
Anyone knows how I can do the same with HTC's mail app, so messages sent from the phone also will appear on other devices?
I have the same issue, ever since updating to kit Kat. Before that, everything synced.
What email app are you using on your V10 and how do you like it?
I was using "Mailbox" from Dropbox but they are doing away with the app so I need something new that is fast and efficient.
I'm looking for an app that provides instant push notifications and has the little round badge count that shows up on the icon.
Any suggestions?
I use myMail: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.my.mail&hl=et
That's really good. There are ads sometimes, which are in your inbox after like every 10 mails or smth like that. But luckily those come very seldom.
gmail all day every single day
Gmail for me, too. Download the latest Exchange Services APK from APK mirror and you can also set up corporate accounts on Gmail.

That is. Very nice multi-account support; I do have 7 accounts configured there and it's been the best combined inbox experience for me with the most features.
Gmail / mymail
Stock.
Don't judge me.....
I just switched to the stock email client from cloudmagic. I like how I am able to just sign in the cloudmagic app on any phone and all of my email accounts along with set signatures will sync. No need to add each one.. I have 8 email accounts.
The only thing that is missing from the stock v10 email app is the ability to delete/mark read/archive from the notification. Other than that it is verry light and smooth. The search function is also quicker than cloudmagic.

I ended up using AquaMail Pro. It does everything the standard email & Gmail apps do plus it supports extras like.... I can send one email to a specific "group" in my contacts.

HTC Mail, best mail app anyone has come up with to date.
I think Aquamail Pro tops them all.
Gmail for Gmail. Nine for Exchange mail.
Hi all, I have 4 accounts in my mail. I need a simple light client that works like mail on iPhone (where you can see the unread folder for all the 4 accounts altogether).
Moreover, the Gmail app and the stock mail app you found in the phone both receive mails only when you refresh the app itself or very late from when your account actually received the mail.
Is there a solution?

For 7 email accounts, I was using Newton, paid for two years. Now i am using Email from Edison Software. I am sure you can find them from play store. Both of them are working fine to me.
The only flaw is Email from Edison Software doesn't support rich text signature. I sent an email to developer about 1 year ago request this feature. They promised they are working on it.
I've just switched to outlook.
It brings all of my Gmail accounts emails perfectly including the spam into outlooks spam folder.
It also let's you move received emails into your separate folders.
You can import your Google calendar.
And it does exactly what you want and shows all email accounts on the same page.
