I have SHW-M250K(KT korean sgs2). I changed the firmware to Bell Canada's firmware. I would like to get UMTS850 frequency but seems no one could answer this question. Does anyone know how to do this?

Hi all.
I have one of the AT&T Atrix phones, and was wondering whether, when my local carrier (Telstra) bring out their own branded version, it will be possible to install the Telstra firmware over the AT&T one. Perhaps when they bring out the update to 2.3?
I know the bootloader will only allow signed firmware, but I'm wondering whether they also check whether you're trying to install firmware from a different carrier or not. If not, it could be a way to get both localised features as well as remove some of the AT&T restrictions.
Any thoughts?
For anyone interested, it turns out that this is possible to do (but may cause reception issues because their firmware will be for the international version of the Atrix, which has different radio capabilities).
Thanks for the info. I was wondering the same thing. Could you keep us informed if you hear anything else?
Hi,
I have a i9000M from Bell Canada. I haven't been able to find an answer out there on the net so I was hoping someone in the forums could help with this question.
Am I able to flash the T-Mobile SGS modem.bin file onto my phone and use it with aws (1700/2100) frequencies up here or down on T-Mobile? Will it break my phone?
I appreciate all your time and thank you
Hi all,
Any help on the above would be greatly appreciated!
I've flashed a stock European Rom, but would like to change the CSC as I plan on sending my tab in to Samsung South Africa due to Newton Rings appearing.
Anyone achieved the above? Is it possible?
Sure an answer would help quite a few people!

Unless someone has created CWM flashable zips, (which I do not think has been done for the Tabs) I dont think there is, if you go to the Galaxy S2 forums, there is a guy called Intratech that does that sort of stuff for the phones, perhaps he will know what to do.
Failing that, just root, change the CSC, then unroot it.
Hi all,
I have a SGSII running CM9 nightlies. The phone is Orange UK branded, but unlocked it and have a contract with Vodafone UK.
I don't entirely understand the radios. Can someone explain them to me? Do I base the modem on the handset or the network? What would be the best modem for me?
Thanks all,
Sam
EDIT: Just to be specific, this is a thread about understanding radios and what they relate to. It's not a "what's the best ROM" thread.

Hi there,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S9+ but it's a Japanese model (SC-03K) but now I'm in Europe and I realized that European models have more frequent updates and I wanted to ask you guys for help.
All the guides I find here are for "SM" models and I don't know if there are any hardware differences and if I can just flash one of those. I don't want to brick my device.
I'll attach some screenshots with information and hopefully, you can clear things out for me. I just want to know if it's possible to Just flash a European version of an S9+ onto this or if there's any way around it.
Here's an imgur post with info about the device: https://imgur.com/a/qs40aul
Thanks a lot in advance for your help!
Cheers!
