Just rooted the Optimus V newer version. I had the black screen problem and fixed that but when I flashed the bumble bee rom I get a black screen. All I can see is the LG logo and then black screen, phone rings and all. Please help
same thing happened with phoenix rom i again wiped everything and flashed it again and it works...
I can't even get to the recovery now with the screen black. the only thing I can think of is to get the screen on my pc through adb.
Wish I could just go to recovery and flash
It most likely means that the rom does not have the display drivers. So basically I think you will have to find a way to get the display drivers flashed into it. I never figured that part out I just flashed my phone to a different rom that has the display drivers.

Hi,
I have tried to port a rom from a different device (htc one s) to the htc legend. It has flashed successfully so far but now when I go to turn it on the lights on the buttons light up and the led at the top does too but the screen does nothing. I guess its just a driver issue in the rom but I don't know how to find that from a rom that already works for the legend..
Is there any chance anybody could guide me in getting the screen up and running?

Ok, One Problem Fixed...
Ok, So I managed to fix that problem by changing some things around in the kernel.
But now I've got the problem with it getting stuck on the "Android" boot screen. It just has the word android across the screen animated. I've used log cat and it seems to be looping and trying to do something with the audio... I've got the kernel from the working rom but there must be something not compatible maybe?
any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello. I have samsung Gt-s7262 mobile. I installed slim[KK]rom by Russel Malinao ROM (kitkat) on my phone. everything was working just fine. Then I saw BEAST KERNEL V1 topic and thought to flash it too. After I flashed BEAST KERNEL V1 , my phone is showing white screen all time. Even when battery is charging.... Phone is turning on normally bc I can hear start up music, Even calls are coming...I can hear ring ... even being detected by computer.... But screen is white.
I can boot into recovery. Recovery and Odin Download screens are normal. But Except that when phone is turning on...after showing Samsung logo, it turns white and stays like that. Please help.

It will help you flash the latest cwm recovery and then also root your phone.
Earlier today, I downgraded the firmware from my straighttalk galaxy s3 from stock H2 to H1 and then proceeded to root it, which went fine. After this, I installed CWM recovery and cyanogenmod, once I booted into cyanogenmod, I ran into a bug/glitch which didn't allow my rom to use my mobile data, so after that, I installed android revolution hd. This is where I ran into my problem, I went into CWM and factory reset my phone and wiped all caches, after this I proceeded to install android revolution HD, only to find out that it only shows a black screen, I also cannot use adb, but my computer still recognizes my phone as connected.
PS:
If I leave the battery out and plug in the USB, I get a brief solid red light
The phone WILL NOT go into recovery or download
No boot screen or error
Any and all help you guys can offer is well appreciated as I was not expecting this to happen

I recently flashed CM13 on my VS985 but when I boot up the phone it shows the LG logo then the screen goes black and shortly after it turns off. I can still get into recovery manually and flash my old ROM (Sky dragon V3). I really want this ROM to work, I was just wondering if this is a problem with my phone or the ROM itself.

I am using simphony w68q (KitKat) and using superior is v3 ...
Problem is today I turned my phone's bettery out.. And also my memory card .. But when I turned it on boot logo came then the boot animation .. Then a black screen. It looks like a software CRush!! I turned it off and on again but same case ocured.. Then I installed another custom ROM and after all my phone opened without any black screen. But it didn't remain so long.. In few minutes my phn crashed again.. A black screen came and I had to install custom ROM again.. This isnt fair.. I can't install a custom ROM frequently after some times..
I can't find out why this is happening and how to solve..
Pls clear it out..
