Restoring backup messages and contacts from Kies

Hello,
I have backed up my messages and contact and all with Kies + Titanium Backup is there any way how to restore only contacts and messages grom these programs? It seems Kies now not responding on my new ROM (before official one) - still connecting device but never connets. Using this mod http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1436817
Can I ask why you didn't backup messages with "SMS Backup & Restore" from the play store? Can I ask why you didn't backup your contacts on to a Gmail or Windows Live account? . Flash back to stock, move contacts and messages back on to your phone, backup with suggested applications then move on to Wanam Lite

[Q] SMS migration 2.3.6 -> 4.0.4

hi.
i want to migrate about 20k sms from a sgs1 @ darky/semaphore to my new nexus @ aokp/franco.
testing several apps and tools, effect is always the same:
backup finished, 10k unread sms displayed and when i want to open them, there are no conversations and it wants to refresh for an endless time.
i used sms backup/restore, myphoneexplorer, titanium backup, my backup, yaffs extractor and a manual copy of the mmssms.db...nothing worked for me.
strange:
i tested the sms debugging script by Honusnap and after that, i could access all sms.
but because of an error, i could not send sms anymore.
help?

[Q] Restoring Messages

Hey guys, I am trying to restore text messages from my Galaxy S to Galaxy S3. I tried Super Backup, SMS backup and restore and Titanium Backup, but all of them mess up the timeline on my S3. It shows all the sent messages first and then all the received messages. Anyone knows any other app to restore messages?
all 3 works fine...
i suggest make a new backup with one of the methods you've mentioned and restore with the same app.
please notice that sms backup on TB work only with the pro version(which by my opinion is a must-have app that i also purchased).
Go Backup is best for message backup and restore.. i always restore and backup my 19000 msges with ease ..
and also done it from s to s3 with ease ..

GoBackup Pro worked perfectly! Thanks!

[Q] One backup solution?

Hi,
Is there an app that backups & restores these things (and maybe more):
1. All apps data
2. All photos (camera, whatsapp, mms)
3. SMS messages, preferably to GMail
4. WhatsApp messages ("exploded" - meaning, not just upload the msgstore.db file)
I'm looking for something automatic, that will backup things as they arrive (e.g. after I take a photo), or hourly/nightly, and that knows to upload the new data to a cloud service.
I know a mix of Titanium & Google + & SMS Backup+ can do these things (SMS Backup+ can't restore whatsapp messages and only backsup nightly, not as whatsapp messages arrives, and can't backup crypt7 files (tri-crypt can decrypt, but for me SMS backup didn't trigger afterwards)). Titanium also failed to upload backups for me (for reasons unclear. the message it gives in the notification is cut off)
Nandroid backup will contain everything, but can't be done nightly and the file is huge, so can't be uploaded. I think it also means that if I change phones, it can't be used for restore.
Basically, I don't want to mess with it. Have it work in the background, send everything to a cloud storage and allow me to restore, even if I switched to a new phone.
