Once someone compiles a ROM, it will be flashable via revovery.

If you don't know how to flash it, then it's best for you to not even try.
It's an ALPHA (or even before an alpha) made from SDK image ported (quickly) to the Nexus One.
This means a lot of things are not working, it's not stable and can not be used as "main rom".
Just wait, "usable" ICS roms will come but now it's just too soon.
I asked him in a twitter. Here is answer:

The first problem is making a hwcomposer.qsdk8.so for Nexus One, this enables the hardware acceleration, needed for ICS.

Just grab the youtube apk from a Cyanogen or Enomther ROM (or any ROM with youtube integrated) and install the apk from the sd card.

i wiped everything.. installed the .zip.. and when the boot animation comes up, after awhile the "shining" stuff that goes across android stops in the middle and starts over...? is that a boot loop?

any updates about the custom 2.2 froyo rom ?
now a little bit work, but just some minutes, and it says system is not responding and restart, but not full restart, just it get to the boot animation and then start.
the first step: i have to make it work, patches and drivers the second step. i tryed much thing to get working it, and i am sure i am not as far as i was.
I really hope that you will get this running because as it seams this will be the only way to get Froyo or Gingerbread on our X8.
Hope you will make this works. And if I can help with something let me know.

IDK if that is paul's work, apparently he is the one developing flash player for our x8's. He might get mad if he sees this and find out that this is his work. I personally havent tried the one you posted, just a hunch.

I guess it's not paul's work, this is totally different. there is an icon appear on the application drawer after installed and it's working flawlessly than paul's 10.3(w/due respect to paul).
God damnit guys, Paul didn't do a damn thing, he just modified the thumbnail and the signature.
It takes a team of experts to make a fully working flash player for a certain type of instruction set architecture.
Whosoever calls himself a flash developer is a liar, it was made by adobe and it'll only be modified and updated by adobe.
I'm sorry if I was offensive in anyway to any1 but this is the harsh trueth, learn to accept it.

Ok, sorry for misunderstanding how it works, he didnt develop the fp, but maybe just maybe, he did port it for us.
Here's the harsh truth: There was no working flash player for our devices (even those that were supposed to work on amrv6 phones, didn't) until paul came in the scene. So I very much doubt that all he did was changing a mere icon. Either way, he was the first one to provide a working flash to us, so credit where it's due...

Whats the matter with U?? u act like u know everything!!
There is no Flash Player plug-ins working on X8, even the one downloaded from the Adobe site, until Paul, Came in to the picture.
what we are referring here is the Fp that Paul's modded for the X8 community.
we all know that PF is belongs to Adobe.
First this rom base off @Kibuuka AOSP ICS and @Texasice Evervolv Perdo ICS for Nexus One. I am not the true developer therefore all credits go to the true developer as I just port the rom.
I intend to port this rom just for us to play around while waiting for the true dev solved the bugs.
Give credit and thanks to the following people for making this ROM possible :
- kibuuka
- texasice / Evervolv Team
- themanii
- nop
- dsixda
- all this forum member who has shared and care DS5
Make a backup of everything before flash, and flash the rom as usually.
Google apps and some applications included in this rom.

Theme Chooser not working, you can see the themes but when you choose it, the device will reboot and freeze, hv to reflash again.

Update to Evervolv-perdo-2.2.0a6 passion, the latest build and might be final as evervolv team working on Jellybean now.
The big improvement on this original build is native camera and camcorder can record and play, but due to camera does not work on our device, so not much changes we get here. I will update again when there is any significant changes on our base rom.
Not work :
- Theme manager still not work (but work well on my supersonic).
- Camera
- Data for some user including me
- Wifi Tethering
- All the bugs from base rom
Looks like this build hv fixed unsaved settings when reboot.
Gapps not included so have to flash seperately, find TheManii thread about newer gapps.
Special thanks to Froilson, Mazda and Team Dirt for SGS3 Samsung Touchwiz and other apps.

btw for random reboots there are some changes to be patched to kernel as given on cm wiki.

Thank you, will see that after finished my work, what I did just put any necessary libs and figure out how rom can work with @kibuuka kernel, change buildprop and so on, hv not do any smali / code hack yet as I read from many tutorials. Pls if you can help me to figure out why theme manager not work.

I just wanted to confirm that ring tone is not working on this rom. I checked to make sure the ring tone is selected and it works when I select it in the settings. but when the phone is actually being called it vibrates only.

I didn't say I have problem with this. On all 4.1 ROMs is screen shot and rotation bug, picture is downscaled, on 4.2 is OK. Nice job dude

My project here is about making a spyder ROM with zero dependent on 3rd-party git.
- Upstream source is either AOSP or CyanogenMod.
- Overlay git for framework changes
- CM style device tree. Prebuilts binaries is pull directly via adb / image file (system.img)
