You might not have USB drivers for samsung.
Install samsung KIES. Open, goto Tools and click on Install Driver. Wait for it to finish. Exit KIES. Using task manager, end the kies process.
Now open ODIN, connect your phone. You should see a yellow mark to indicate connection. Flash now!

Try using a usb jig to force it in download mode. Then flash new firmware with odin. You can find all the info on this forum.

See how the yellow area says you are connected to a com port and it says added. If your not getting that in "DOWNLOAD" mode. Then you probably need to reinstall drivers! Search around for drivers... Might try a different computer too...
ok thanks...i will try all your suggestions...
i think my other computer got it to work but the problem is that your firmware is in megaupload and now megupload is dead. so can you please put it on something else?
sorry!

NJust trying to see through the blurr on your pics have you got kies running at the same time if so turn it off and run Odin on its own. Kies is just USB drivers. Also is it a genuine cable your using (no answer needed fyi) some cables don't work.
Use Odin for international S2, not Epic 4G.
Also try with Odin3.
