Hello experts,
I'm following the development of a gps glider software (porting to Android).
We use to link an external gps (quite more precise than the sgs2 one) via bluetooth.
The problem is that the BT can be turned on only if the phone is on-line.
While we flight we'd rather have the phone off-line for a lot of reasons.
So, is it possible to link the sgs2 via BT without an activo phone connection?

Hello all,
I was just curious. Im considering purchasing an external bluetooth GPS receiver and running TomTom on my device when im driving.
I also currently use a bluetooth handsfree device.
Am i able to use both bluetooth devices?
I have no problems connection a bluetooth GPS (Holux 236) and a handsfree device (Nokia HS12W) together (and using them at the same time).
HTC branded TYTN.
Only downside might be in the way the applications address the display. Nokia Smart2Go doesn't seem to like the phone application interrupting it... (it works, but phone application doesn't show)

TomTom works fine with the phone.
Hello...
I have searched for a long time and can't seem to find any apps that would turn my android device into an internet radio station...
The purpose of this is to transmit audio from Asus Transformer Prime to my older Nokia E63 that can't receive a2dp but has wifi.
My solution would be to set them both to a same AP and turn my Prime into internet radio that streams everything going on so I could plug my headphones into my E63, put it into my pocket and my tablet in my backpack...
This has worked so far for my laptop... And I hope it would also work for my tablet...
If there is no such application I would be happy to write it myself..Just it would require a lot of pointless work.
That is why asked it here first
Hi.
My problem it's this:
I paired my phone with my car and work well, but everytime i disconnect it (or i go out of range of bluetooth or i turn off the car) and i try to reconnect it, i must insert pin number.
I read that some other people have this problem, but i can't find solution.
I have a galaxy s2 with aokp 4.1.2. (also with other rom i have the same problem and also with other android version)
My car it's a Land Rover Range Rover 2006 (in Land rover they are not able to solve)
I try also with llama and tasker for insert pin when in status bar appear the pair request, but i'm not able.
I also tried to change some things in the "/etc/bluetooth/" but I have not solved anything
The problem is probably due to the fact that the bluetooth module the car is old, although with wm 6.5 was connected without problems
Can someone help me?
Thx
Hi all!
Excuse my english please, is not my native language.
I'm a Galaxy S3 (android 4.1.1) user and i'm having problems (not only my device, also other S3 i tried and also one S2 of a friend of mine) to connect and read through a OTG cable, an USB device with 30MB of memory. It's a Navi2coach gps navigator for bike training from the o-synce company. This devce has a internal memory of 30 MB to save routes, workouts, tracks, trainings, etc. The S3 can't find the file system. I've tried with a low range AIRIS one pad 970,(android 4.0) and It CAN read it without problems. Do you know if there is any limitation of file system reading with the Samsung's?
Thank you all.
JVC GC XA1 Adixxion sport camera and wivideo problem
Hi!
Excuse my english please it's not my native language.
I have search across web and didn't find anything about this problem. Let me explain.
I have a new (and firmware updated) JVC GC XA1 sport camera. It has wifi connectivity. I have connected to the laptop succesfully (through wifi), and also to my Galaxy S3 trough my router (the jvc can connect with the S3 through a router or with a direct connection. In this mode, the S3 has to be a hotspot). The problem: I connect succesfully to the S3 hotspot mode. I open the wivideo application. The application finds the device, but in the image preview appears "loading" and that's all. I can't connect and says "Without cannection to the wifi camera" I thought i could have a faulty device or software problems, but i tried to another S3 with the same result...
Tried with an old Airis onepad970 (android 4.0), and works pretty well (preview image works and can connect to the camera). I tried with direct connection mode of the camera, (only works with Iphone WTF?!!?) and also works fine (with an iphone).
Anyone with problems at wivideo that could give some light?
Thank you all.
Hi fellow android friends,
I have an older car with a big radio slot. I thought about integrating an android tablet there and connect it to the car stereo, but I have some questions if some features would be possible.
Basically I want to pair my phone to the tablet via bluetooth to mainly stream music to it. But I also want navigation (Google Maps) which I could simply use by creating a hotspot from my phone automatically when it's connected via bluetooth to the tablet. Also I want Call integration. So that I can start, answer and end calls I get on my phone from my tablet. I would set up a microphone in the car for better quality.
Is this possible? If so, how? With specific apps? Or flashing Android Auto somehow to the tablet?
