Hi all!
Question, My Sensation is now S-OFF, Root, bla bla..
I flashed a custom rom. But now id like to rebrand / s-on my phone.
After going back to super-cid i should flash an shipped sensation rom.
But which one do i have to download in the thread`?
I bought my sensation in July '11, @ Swisscom (swiss carrier).
Why back to an original rom? Because we've several network problems in switzerland (with swisscom), they now pushed a specific update to our sensations (and other htc's in switzerland). I dont receive it with a costum rom. Thats my problem.
Thanks much for Help & sorry for my "swiss-ish" english
You want to s-on? That's fairly risky to do because It involves flashing the hboot I believe, but there are many guides for s-on just use search

Hello everyone!
I bought a EVO 3D, unfortunately at the time of purchase I was passed off as non-branded and then realize that power instead is branded Vodafone. Although not much branding as "invasive" (apart from the Vodafone logo when turned on, a series of very annoying and totally useless vodafone app .... I can not uninstall), the thing that struck me is the rom 1.24.165.2 while looking at that network are not able to find information, and on the site HTCDev does not reflect this as an unlockable rom ....
And 'possible debranding?
I can unlock the boot loader (version 1.49.0012 and Rom 1.24.165.2) with the procedure on the site HTCDev?
Sorry for the english google translate
Thank you ...
Max
use htcdev.com to unlock, do not see any other things do u understand?
Hi
Dw buddy, I have the Telstra evo 3D which has the same hboot 1.49.0.12 n 1.24.165.2 rom. I just unlocked the bootloader via the htcdev, just make sure do all the steps.
1. [Tutorial] [UNLOCK/ROOT] EVO 3D GSM Hboot 1.49.0011> + S-On [HTC Unlock method]
2. BackUp your rom with CWM
3. Flash a rom that dose not need s-off, i have [ROM] [OCT 10] KingCobra3D 1.4 | ROGERS RUU 1.20.631.2 | STOCK KERNEL via Turge
4. If u have wifi error, you'll need to flash this file http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=710252&d=1315178546 via monx® in CWM recovery
hope this helps.
thx's to all the dev for there hard wrk.
While we are on the topic, I've been meaning to ask xda members a question in relation to the Telstra-supplied HTC EVO 3D X515a handset I own.
Currently, is it possible for me to revert to factory settings (Telstra factory ROM)?
Any help would be much appreciated, thank you in advance

Got an o2 branded HTC Flyer. Don´t want to root it or install custom images but only would like to install an unbranded image on it. Read that there could be a risk to brick the device by OTA due to a special provider CID. Right or not?
I would contact GlobalTron on this forum. I think he has the most expertise in stock ROM installation.
Easiest way, run revolutionary to S-OFF and flash an unbranded ROM excluding the hboot image.
Second way is to use a goldcard and flash a custom image...of course I recommend the former.
After s-off I can get OTA updates for the official ROM without any problems? You wrote that hboot will remain the same.
I already own an hox+ i bought from singapore. Got some problems with lcd, so gave it for repairs in india. They replace my rom with indian stock rom and i lost lot of good features and language supports and my cid was changed too. I wanna know if i can revert to asian stock rom, from indian stock rom, without rooting or unlocking? Can i still get the ota from htc for their upcoming sense 5 ota update for hox+?
Please help
You can't do it without unlocking the bootloader. If your phone came back with a diffrent CID. It's probably not the same phone you sent them :/

They did replace the mainboard, so (as per their info) the imei and cid changes with change of mainboard

It doesn't matter what country you are in. Just flash stock rooted ICS ROM. You should flash 4ext recovery though, because it's recomended for Evo and has smartflash option which allows you to flash custom boot image with s-on
liquidsmooth has a new rom in development that i highly recommend checking out although it requires s-off the little effort it takes to do so would be worth it in my opinion and there is plenty of guides to walk you through it. just make sure its a gsm rom as i spent the better part of a day trying to figure out why my gsm rom wouldn't work on my cdma phone. live and learn
Hi
I had purchased HTC One Mini but it was rooted, I need to unroot the device. I did S-Off and changed the CID to 11111111.
Now I am looking for RUU (GSM based) would be good if I get Europe image because I am using GSM based network.
HTC Dev has Cingular image, can I install this ROM to my device? would my SIM be working on it or not?
