PLS HELP me ..how can i fix my Phone again..
Try all the way to get in again in download mode but its not working.
PLS help help. ....

Your phone is unfortunately dead..however you can try using a usb jig or send itto service centre for warranty.. Don't tell them you flashed it.. Just tell them you were playing angry birds then the phone died and it won't turn on or something like that..
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium

Your phone is bricked.A jig wont work. Its dead.Send it back to the store and try to make up a story to get it covered under warranty. The good thing is that they shouldnt be able to see inside because its hard bricked. The bootloader is damadged. If they wont accept it then you need a JTag.Search it on google and then search in your country for centres that do JTag services. You have 2 options,a new phone under warranty or a JTag because you cant fix it at home yourself.Look here for JTag service incase the service centre dont accept it.
http://www.jtagbox.com/riff-jtag-bo...-bricked-phone-riff-box-owners-list/#comments
this link has a list of centres world wide.Good luck
EDIT:I had a phone done from this site for 35 euros so its worth it.

Its my bad lucky its not under warranty now
I would hope to try with JTag and if u gave the Samsung would they abt to fix it ?
And do u mean by bootloader is damaged ?
its Programming Damage or hardware damage ?

Samsung will be able to fix it. And it is software damage. However you have completely erased the software on the sgs 2 hence the hardware has no "leader" and knows not what to do. Hence why your phone is unable to do anything.

Samsung will still fix it because they will be unable to find the problem because you selected re-partion.A bad thing to do but also might just get you a free replacement phone.Go to samsung first under warranty. The story is yours to make up.The link i left for the JTag is just incase they dont accept it but if they cant find that you have been playing with it then they cant say no.Samsung first, its free. Then the Payed way,JTag.
EDIT:Try saying Kies crashed while you where updateing for example or phone was overheating while charging and in the morning it was dead.Things like that.

Man...my cell wasnt in warranty coz its a Orange UK phone and i stay in India so warranty isnt there..
Samsung guys told tht ur Main IC isnt working ..so they need to change it and would cost me $200 for it..
But tht problem started when i got RE-Partition.. while updating it.
I think Samsung India is unable to detect the proper problem..wht do u think..
Pls help me ...

O.K. so check this site out then. Its a web site with JTag contacts worldwide and the 9th contact on the list is in India.Give then a call, there is also an e-mail address.A JTag will not cost you 200 bucks thats for sure.I had an i9000 done from this site for 35 euros a few months back here in spain. If you have to pay then this will by far be the best, cheapest and probably the ONLY way to fix your phone for a few bucks.

[Q] Is my SG S2 Dead?

Hi
I installed the MIUI rom on my S2,and to cut a long story short i decided to change to another rom, due to the camcorder not working and the phone getting very hot.
I thought i would follow this guide theandroidsoul.com/how-to-install-android-2-3-2-on-samsung-galaxy-s-leaked-rom
I thought it looked nice an easy.
I followed the guide to the letter, and now my phone is dead.
It doesn't matter what button combo i try the phone wont switch on at all it is completely dead, the 3 button press, vol. down + Home + Power.
Volume UP or Down + power, the power button by itself, nothing will bring it back to life.
The battery at the time had 98% charge in it when it died.
The phone wont even show on the pc,nor will it charge through the pc or wall charger.
Is there anything i can do? Or is the phone dead?
I eagerly await your replies.

You may need a jig to kick it into download mode.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk
Will that actually work mate?
George
This is because you have installed a Galaxy S ROM on a Galaxy SII. How you did not realize this is beyond me. Anyway, the only thing you can do is to order a USB Jig and see if that will put it into download mode. Otherwise, your phone is dead.
EDIT: To answer your question "Will that actually work", I don't think we can say for sure. I give it a 40% chance of working.

I never even noticed that mate until you pointed it out.....oh dearI guess that's what happens when your old
If a jig won't work will a samsung service centre get it working?
George
Well samsung service center will get it working since they have all the necessary tools to jtag it. You could make one too if you are well versed with hardware, just search it up. Anyways samsung service center might find out about the custom roms on your device so you will have to pay to get it repaired.
Yeah i know mate, I'm not bothered about paying for service center repair.
Anyone know how much Samsung take for JTagging a phone?(Is that the correct term?)
I will try the USB jig method first,I'll order one from the bay.
Many thanks for your help guys.
George
Right guys i had a look on ebay for the USB jig,and one guy says this in the item description:
"If your phone screen is always black, that is it does not
display the white Galaxy S/Samsung/AT&T logo
when you switch it on, then sorry, this jig will not help you."
Does that mean the jig wont work for my problem?
George
You shouldn't be installing a Galaxy S 1 rom on your SGS2..
doubt the "rom" flash killed it , what killed it probably was flashing the i9000 pit file.. meaning the jig wont help u at all, you need a jtag now.. build your own (hard) or Samsung service centre.
Yeah i know that now mate....It's an expensive painful lesson. It wont happen again.
George
Any guides on how to jtag bud,is it easy
Worst case scenario is the service center...Do you know how much samsung charge for this,is it very expensive?
Much obliged.

uhm i have no idea, ive only ever seen videos of the jtag, have no idea how you would even begin to build one... its like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zN7le4GmxZs
Honestly!! id call samsung and pretend that i was updating my fw through kies and that happened, if you actually admit you were messing around in odin they will likely void your warranty and charge you.. Before anything else, call samsung first id say. much easier method than the jtag stuff.
I'm not the original owner of the phone mate,so a claim on warranty is out the window.
I don't mind paying for the service, after seeing how hard the Jtag thing is
I actually found that video that you linked too, after watching it i would say it's not a DIY job,not for me anyway.
The company in the video offers a JTag service for 75 bucks, just under £50,have you or anyone else heard of them before, would anyone recommend them, are they reliable,i would be grateful if anyone could advise me on using this service.
Cheers

hmm, nah ive never really heard of them, id say just try to google the company and see if they are any good... the comments on the video seem pretty happy..\ then again, comments are just comments. Wonder how much Samsung would charge for the repair (seeing as you said you cant claim warranty, maybe they can repair for you) as it would be better than trusting some random third party.

Yes mate i know what you mean about third party repairers,I've had good experiences with most of them luckily.
I'm a bit dubious of sending the phone to the US (I'm in the UK) it's a long way.
I tried phoning the 2 service centers near me,but both are closedI'll contact them tomorrow, hopefully it wont be too expensive.
Much obliged for everyones help,i appreciate it guys.

hi there i had the same problem i flashed i9100 with i9000 pit and i got hard brick like you. I call to the service center and it would come about 100€. Then i found for mobiletechguy.com i send them the phone about ten days ago and in about 2 days ago i got their email that is completed and that they send the phone back to me, will see in about 2 or 3 days when i got it back.

sgs2 dead, samsung say not defect(working properly)

hi i've sent my sgs2 to repair because it's dead (here explanationhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2130440)
samsung says not defect(working properly)
repair center tell me: I have just chased your handset up with samsung and unfortunately your handset is not powering up due to a broken screen, we can get this fixed for you but will cost £100+VAT, would you like us to go ahead with the repair??
i can't undestand why i have to pay for repair my screen's phone if it is faulty and don't work anymore, i didn't do nothing never rooted never do nothing.
Anyone can't confirm me if the problem's explanation can be resolved with a screen replace?
thank in advance

Well the warranty in some places is only 12months...
Also, did you purchase the phone first hand..??
Can the you get the phone into download mode or recovery mode..http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1134290..???
Its very strange...get it checked at some local mobile expert who knows his stuff...
if he too says its screen problem...then whether you did anything or not to spoil it, its really not going to matter to samsung...you'll just need to pay up and replace screen..
Press Thanx if i helped..

I bought the phone from a physical store, the phone is still in warranty, i can't get the phone into download or recovery pc can't see nothing (and because of this i don't think the screen is the problem) if the problem is only the screen i have to see my phone when pugged on the pc don't you think?
Well i think that if i buy a phone and after a year the screen don't work anymore is a samsung problem not mine.

i want only to know if it's possible that a faulty screen compromise all the phone, so my pc can't see the phone in any way, vibration don't work audio don't work...if it work properly without screen these things have to work

Phone doesn't start at all

I know there are plenty of threads like this out there but the reason I am making a new one is because I am looking for a fix which I have not been able to find so far.
Last night my phone was working perfectly fine with no problems. This morning I woke up to a warm dead phone that doesn't start, go into download or recovery mode, different batteries doe not work. I want to be able to get this phone working exactly how it was without wiping it or cleaning the data out I want all my apps there, pics, contacts etc to be there in the phone exactly how it was before it died for no reason.
Is there anything I can do to make the phone start working again?
(I have already taken the phone to samsung with no use)
Sounds like sudden death syndrome..

try do Jtag to ur mobile if it not wake up
here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1916796
and plz note , all data gonna erased , and if ur phone under warranty , go to Samsung repair center and they will fix that if SDS( they will replaced ur MB) and if just SW they will apply jtag and if u apply the Jtag method above with DIY then it will void ur warranty if covered , so if u still under warranty , go to Samsung repair center
good luck

Two reasons why we have dead SGS3 One a problem with some motherboards and reason two is users mistakes .
If its dead its dead end of story .

S2 hard brick

Hello i own a SGS2 for about a year and it suddenly does not work anymore after i put out the battery while it crashed
i did not try 2 flash this phone or anything ever
it wont go to recovery mode or download mode
and wont turn on
its a dead body
i tried 2 use jig and it doesnt respond to it
my question is, should i try to replace its motherboard?
i mean is there a chance this will work?
or should i just take it to repair centre for jtag or whatever they would do there..?
the thing is the repair centre are asking for 200$
while i can buy and replace the mother board myself for about 10$
so what do u suggust?
btw it acts like hard brick, wont even show the screen when charging the phone
and the camera is getting hot when i do that
If you're confident enough to do it, yeah, replace it yourself. Or if you're not, you could always get buy the secondhand motherboard & pay a local mobile repair shop to swap it out for the dead one in your phone. Will still work out way cheaper than the $200 you've been quoted by service centre.
If you're going to do it yourself, there's a thread somewhere on here with the service manuals linked/attached (by TheUnderling, search his posts/threads. You could probably find them with a Google search as well).
If you replace the motherboard with a 2nd hand one, you'll get the IMEI that was attached to the phone the board came from, if the service centre does it you normally keep your IMEI (Which shouldn't be a problem, but obviously with some carriers/networks in some parts of the world it might be).
sure you can
let me know when you find a motherboard for 10 bucks, i'll buy 10...
prices a quite higher for motherboards ( 50-150 $)
check well next time

i can definetly do it on my own
the thing is, can i be certain this will fix the problem?
if not what is the probability?
also the motherboard i found is this
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Samsung-I99...743?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a2a3950cf
its 90$ i was mistaken about the 10$ one
but i can still save some money here
Unless you're experienced with phone components/microelectronics, no, you have no way of knowing absolutely that replacing the motherboard will fix your problem. And that you asked this question makes it fairly obvious you don't have this experience. However, given what you've described & given similar examples on here over the past 18 mths, it is more than likely a component on the motherboard that has crapped itself.
You're looking for certainty, nobody can give you that without someone experienced opening up your phone & testing it.
If it were me, I'd get a 2nd hand board & pay somebody who knows what they're doing to swap the old one out. This would still be much cheaper than paying Samsung/an authorised repairer to put a new board in.
Are you 100% sure that the motherboard is the problem ? You said you didnt flashed the phone or anything , while the hard brick appears when you do a wipe from recovery on a faulty 4.0.4 version of android. Try using another battery , maybe it is dead. Dont rush for the motherboard change , and like Mistah said , go to a center and let them just check your phone pice by pice and then see whats the deal.

i did try a diffrent battery it didnt work,
the repair centre said that something on the hardware is burned i think something to do with the flashing
and yes i did not play with the flashing of this phone ever, i was satisfied with its current rom
Then i guess it just happend , god knows why. Sadly for you , you need to indeed changes the motherboard , think at it like this , if its fried anywayz go ahead and try to change it yourself , if it works , good for you , if not , take it to a center and thats it. Its not like if you try to changed it and fail , that second , working mobo cant be reused by those guys at the repair center to do it for you.

i have tried to go these places but useless.. they only know how to replace the motherboard , they won't help us to deal with the back up issue
You can't solve that issue. It's not possible. The only people who might be able to (and this is probably a 1 in 1000 chance) is a company who specialises in data recovery from dead hard drives, and even that is very unlikely.
do others have methods to help me??
No.
i want to know what 's wrong with my phone....:crying:
when i try to turn on, i feel that the phone is still a bit warm... it's working right??
Something on the motherboard has crapped itself. No, the opposite. Having the phone warm up near the camera is symptomatic of every single case like this we see/have seen on here in 2.5 yrs. You're not fixing it yourself unless you replace the motherboard yourself, and you're not recovering your data regardless of what you or anyone else does.
Now, you can sit here for 4 days, a week, two weeks, a month in denial & maybe have people tell you to try things that might build your hopes up but have absolutely no chance of working, or you can bite the bullet & have the phone repaired or buy a new phone.
The choice is yours.

Take your phone to local mobile repair shop ... asks for checking short circuit for battery , and Two power IC's .. one located near camera and other lower Right..
ask him to check if something is wrong on both these..
if it does... asks for POWER IC replacement or Motherboard replacement..
If at last nothing works and you are finally going to replace your motherboard anyway
do this thing or ask a technician to do this.. may be it'll work:
